- This has been pretty tough but its all coming together really nice! Cant wait to have the first start done in the next video! This will be one insane ZR1 when its all finished up! Cant wait!

I don't want to hear anyone complain that they don't do "builds" anymore. this was a big job. Not just bolting on a mod.
But they mod it and say it's oem which it's not aftermarket parts = not oem

I know how you'll keep that hood perfect. It's gonna need a ECU tune and that'll never happen. So it'll just sit on the stacker with the rest of the cars that need a dyno tune that'll never happen 😉

Keep the zr1 tub, someone will need a doors back parts car, and sell all the extra parts to recoup what was spent on the z06 chassis. You'd be surprised how much those vette parts go for!

i thought the same thing. Now they risk overspray on the interior
Or clean the dash components. They were clearly dirty before installing.
Same for not doing the fuel system as well. Injectors and all are way easier when the entire dang thing is out of the entire car.. Now you gotta lean over the fender and risk dropping crap in the engine bay and loosing it and potentially scratching up the fenders. Even with fender skirts it’ll swirl / micro scratch that paint up. But seeing how the dirty interior was put back together it’s just another goonz rebuild lol good enough should be a motto on the wall in the shop.

It’s looking good guys. One thing I would have done differently is while I had the drivetrain out and went as far as to clean the whole rear drivetrain, I would have cleaned the front cradle too. Other than that it’s looking great.

maybe if you put some clear PPF on both sides of that clear center part of the hood you can keep it looking new longer, protect from heat, sun, and scratches... if you have time get a proper billet aluminum one or titanium clutch, it will spool faster for a more fun driving experience...

The seats situation is quite interesting, your ZR1 is a 2010, both seats should be the same as the Driver one you just got, GM updated the ZR1 seats in 2011 to be the one you already had on the passenger seat, your passenger seat is an impostor, someone updated that seat or something.
