I've actually complained to RUclips about these vile people who make 'how much do they earn ' videos. They're doing nothing but cause stress for a lot of brilliant creators. I'm a retired pro chef who does a tiny cooking channel because it stops me from going mad being housebound from health issues but these ppl need to be stopped. I'm so angry that ppl can't create constructive videos without others trying to piggyback on their success. Keep doing it Gary and good luck.

Regardless of what Gary earns, one must consider the costs involved. Travelling (fuel/parking) to each restaurant , buying the meal, paying the cameraman, then there's the time it all takes! none of this is for free, it all costs. If Gary makes a fee quid at the end of the day I'm sure he's earned it.👍
I reckon from month to month the cheque is up and down in value, outgoings will prob swallow most of it, but anyone that is actually working earning a living wont even care what he earns, I for one am not bothered either way if hes earning £1 - £19k a month, as long as hes happy doing the videos, we enjoy the content, thats all that really matters imo.

There's famous youtuber in Poland who does the same thing there. He said that lot of restaurants offered him good money for the reviews. Of course he always refuses. Also he pays for his meals, even though, quite often, owners of fast food or restaurants he visits don't want him to. Anyway when I started watching him(I'm Polish myself living in London) I thought: I have to find youtuber who does similar thing here in UK and I found you Gary. I don't care about your earnings, your videos make me happy, that's the most important thing to me...Good Work!!

I'm not sure why so many people want to count how much other people earn. Once I stopped being jealous of other people's success, I became a lot more successful myself.

The majority will be deeply annoyed about their own life for whatever reason, maybe they hate their job etc and see someone they perceive as eating for a living (especially if they think "I could do that) and getting £19k a month for it gives them uncontrollable envy and bitterness. The irony is they don't want to do their own channel on camera as they wouldn't be able to cope with the same hate and comments they give out to others, would rather try and raise themselves up by bringing everyone else down. I don't see how you can hate on a channel earning whatever in this style of content. 'Drama channels' that are just reacting and trying to get views any way possible "I burgled my neighbour's house" type shit I can understand how it can rile up an audience but this is just food reviews, informative with calm delivery. People laughed at me when I said I was going to write books. Nobody offered any advice, but when I became successful after 5 years of writing failed books, some people I know became jealous and spiteful. Travelling (fuel/parking) to each restaurant , buying the meal, paying the cameraman, then there's the time it all takes! none of this is for free, it all costs. I reckon from month to month the cheque is up and down in value, outgoings will prob swallow most of it, but anyone that is actually working earning a living wont even care what he earns, I for one am not bothered either way if hes earning £1 - £19k a month, as long as hes happy doing the videos, we enjoy the content, thats all that really matters imo.

I'm not sure why so many people want to count how much other people earn. Once I stopped being jealous of other people's success, I became a lot more successful myself.

The majority will be deeply annoyed about their own life for whatever reason, maybe they hate their job etc and see someone they perceive as eating for a living (especially if they think "I could do that) and getting £19k a month for it gives them uncontrollable envy and bitterness.
The irony is they don't want to do their own channel on camera as they wouldn't be able to cope with the same hate and comments they give out to others, would rather try and raise themselves up by bringing everyone else down.
I don't see how you can hate on a channel earning whatever in this style of content. 'Drama channels' that are just reacting and trying to get views any way possible "I burgled my neighbour's house" type shit I can understand how it can rile up an audience but this is just food reviews, informative with calm delivery. People laughed at me when I said I was going to write books. Nobody offered any advice, but when I became successful after 5 years of writing failed books, some people I know became jealous and spiteful. The crabs in the bucket analogy is very relevant in the UK.
