    Richest people too frequently use beds in hotels, hospitals (many people could have died on that earlier) and seats in taxis, flights, restaurants etc, which thousands of people would have used earlier. So the logic is mostly futile and impractical, unless we ensure that whatever we are reusing is in a neat , clean and hygienic condition. (Edit - some of you have written that sir is talking about buying (for long-term) and not for using for short term as service. However long term and short term is a subjective thing. Some people buy things/houses and hardly use it, some people rent-in things/house and use for long periods of time. There are rich people who live more in hotels / office/ hospitals etc that in own house. My point is, when we don't have negative feelings while using hotels / office / hospitals/ transport etc (which really may have a very negative history and may or may not be for short usage), why to corrupt and restrict our minds unnecessarily over such things? )

    I agree with your point of view of Energies, but i would like to balance it out with the Utility value of goods I am purchasing.
    One good thing that i would incorporate going forward, if possible try to apply the principals of renovation that you gave example of in case of secondary market purchase of home.
    With respect to your answer on what is my cut off, for me the cut off is not a monetary value, its more about the type of goods i am purchasing. Here is my high level categories, which I buy second hand and with my logic of why i do so
    Mobiles - Any Andriod phone is good for 2-3 years, after which it needs to be replaced. Hence i try to buy 3-6 months old phone, which i get at 25-35% discount to current price of new phone. I do IMIE checks and see that it is not on stolen list. (Note : I only do this for phone i use and not my family member, as phone is for personal use and other members do not agree with my thought process so i don't enforce it on them. But they have to live with mid segment phone and not the flagship spec phone)
    Electronics like TV, Hone Theater, Sound System, DVD Player. - Reason again utility. We all are busy in our life and we watch TV hardly for 2 hours a week. Hence no reason to spend top dollars on same
    Car and Two wheeler - Same as above. The usage is very less. Car less then 100 kms a month and 2 wheeler 250 kms. We work from home and the only time we use vehicles is shopping / daily errands or movie or temple visits.
    White Goods (Fridge, AC, Washing Machine) - So far, I had a nomadic life, changing cities or country every 3 year, hence it did not made any good sense to buy brand new stuff and then moving it across India or in my case many times outside India. Now that I have decided to settle in one city, I may not buy second hand white goods items
    So it also depends on which stage of life are you in. Like me, if in your 30's and 40's you are a nomad, there is no reason to buy new stuff and then take un-necessary loss without extracting full value from the goods bought
    Hence for me, I don't think that your advice to NOT TO BUY USED GOODS IS ALWAYS PRUDENT

      You should not wear or buy second hand jewelry. Only wear if passed down from ancestors with their blessings only otherwise I have seen some cases where when doing shradha vidhi that ancestor tells that they want that particular jewel piece. So if buying old jewellery use gold or silver from it make a new one

    Sir .. bachon ke kapde jo ache wale hote hain .. how many times they wear before they outgrow them? 2-3 baar bhi nahi mushkil se. Roz ke ghar ke kapde aur night suits to khair ghis ke purane ho jate hain n no one passes them on but nice expensive clothes can certainly be shared with younger kids in the family. 2-3 baar se zyada to koi nahi pehenta. Naye ke naye hee hote hain mostly. My kids were eldest in the family n their clothes were passed on to their cousins all the time. It feels good ki thoda paisa vasool to hua if 2/3 kids wear the clothes a few times

    I agree you shouldn't buy 2nd hand, but when you have no option left, you should buy one. I disagree on few points but I mostly agree with his view point.

    Sir,Maine ek second hand house karida tha,usme mere Marne tak ki naubat aa gayi thi...meri tabiyat bahut hi jyada kharab ho gaya thi...without kisi reason mere body me dheere dheere kam karna band kar diya tha... Finally maine ghar change kar liya, now I am OK...but mujhe ye lagta tha ki is ghar mein kuchh to sahi nahi hai....bathroom mein dar lagta tha..kitchen mein bilkul hi jane ka mann nahi karta tha...

      About to ask the same question. What I heard in other videos, we should wash the clothes before donating. And if possible, we should do iron as well.

    • @usharamesh8853
      @usharamesh8853 10 месяцев назад

      @@kidsworld1730yes, before donating clothes, we should soak it in warm water with salt for half an hour. After that wash it normally and then donate to contra the negative energies.
