I went into such a depression for 6 months I didn’t go out much no motivation i realised I was emotionally dependent on my pet and huge vacuum I felt . I have now decided not to get a pet until I retire and have a farmhouse . I’m dealing with my vacumn and now focusing on family
Guru ji, I am a DOG LOVER 🐕🐕🐶🐕🐶🐾🐶🐕🐶🐾🐕🐶 I feed dogs of my area and ensure that they are given food water . When it is necessary to give medicine it is taken care of. In summers winters and rainy season as a true dog lover i provide some basic arrangements for them. I encourage other people also to be kind towards Street dogs and give them food in improve their karma. Before seeing this video only i have in my mind to keep dogs only when I own a farm house. I will adopt local dogs and create a home for them separately in the farm house where they can run freely and live their best life. I really want to keep a dog in my flat but I am not keeping because it will be selfish of me to keep dog in small flat. It's not good for a dog s health also. Thank you for making this video. For your information there are 4.50 crore homeless dogs in India and dog lovers should try to help them rather than buying dogs from illegal breeders and cruel pets shops. Love for dogs is like the most emotionally corroding thing ever. You get a dog, find yourself emotionally attached to him, he never does anything wrong, you find no reason to hate him. Once he is gone, you get into depression. You sob and cry continuously. Thinking of that itself is more tearing than the death of dog itself.
Since my childhood I am dog lover and feeding them on street I Love them a lot even though I never keep them in flat for their freedom life. Spending time with them on street also given me lots of relaxation ❤❤❤they need food and our time only..and some vaccine ❤

Yes, People deal with the emotional vaccum through the dog but the person who is going through this state can only understand what an unconditional love and companionship of a pet can do. Pets can really help in dealing with the stress and depression. Children raised with a pet turn more compassionate in life. Yes, you rightly said People keeping the dogs should be more responsible towards the neighborhood and the dog too as Its a big responsibility.

Exactly 💯 . There is no one to keep the dogs point of view. Dogs only become aggressive when someone treats them badly except for some exceptions that prevail everywhere even in humans also.
I grew up around puppies, squirrels and parrots during my childhood. Most were abandoned, injured and let go. All raised by my mom. Now i realise a part of having them was a emotional support which my abusive dad never gave to my mom. I learnt responsibilities raising them, upkeeping and mainly hygiene. Me being an asthmatic found it difficult but those pets were like a family and they instilled lot of morale and emotional support. Thank you Guru Ji for clarifying. Never thought of it that way. You are right. Victims do keep pets for emotional support. I see most of the people with ill intentions chain them at the gate and not care at all. Just as a means to show off.

My sister bought a labrador 2 years ago. I was totally against it, mom was neutral and dad was kindly favour of it. But life became hell as sister stays outside, comes once a week. Most of dog things have to manage by ourselves. Yeah we've a big 3 story home but managing dog isn't. Have to cook seperate food, and nature call. Now parents can't leave it because of emotional attachment. Give some suggestions
You should have taken a stand atthe time. When my nephew wanted one and my sister was acting all cutesy about it, i gave them an earful and told them you will be abusing an animal because you are not equipped to care for it. I would like to add to that for people keeping long haired dogs like Husky and golden retrievers which are not meant for Indian climatic conditions. No matter how hard one tries these breeds are going to suffer in a cramped Indian setting. Each dog breed is designed with a purpose, people must be aware of the purpose they have. People keep exotic breeds to show off without knowing what they are meant for. these types of people need to be trolled by society on a regular basis to keep them on check.

And if you want to justify 20k+ human deaths alone in India caused by rabies to killing of animals because of human taste then for just one moment imagine any one of your close relative being rabies positive. So if you abused any animal they may not attack you but if some other person do something they will attack them as we can see in some videos where strays attacked children. I have been to houses without pets where there is lack of cleanliness, low hygiene & a disorganized household. So it mainly depends whether people are inherently organized & love to keep surroundings clean.

You're mostly correct. But, incorrect even it comes to saying that all dogs are unhygienic. In western countries people keep dogs inside home and they're very hygienic. True if you have time and money to take good care of the pet then it may make sense. Also sacrifice is required just in case if you are only one person to look after the pet and you have to go out for work or personal recreation If there is a big family then it can be managed at times.
This is what I told one of my friend, she was influencing me to adopt a dog especially in lockdown but I don’t want… now we don’t talk much😅 bcz I said if you and your other friends are dog lovers then why do you care only in Diwali and at home her parents abused that dog… hit dog with broom so hard… other incident in my building is they take dog in lift and suddenly when lift door opens it comes near and gives a sudden fear attack..then they say sweet dog hai she won’t do anything

It's purely a personal choice. Yes, People deal with the emotional vaccum through the dog but the person who is going through this state can only understand what an unconditional love and companionship of a pet can do. Pets can really help in dealing with the stress and depression. Children raised with a pet turn more compassionate in life. Yes, you rightly said People keeping the dogs should be more responsible towards the neighborhood and the dog too as Its a big responsibility.
Thats exactly what he is saying. To fulfil their emotional needs people are getting big dogs in small cramped spaces and causing animal abuse. I know the emotional argument cannot be won by logic. But most people are abusing animals so that they can feel good

Fantastic video sir! I agree with most of your views on the emotional vacuum and the way dog keeper misuse public infrastructure. However, one should also educate kids about dogs. Koi bhi baccha aa kar patthar maar ke jaata hai street dog ko. Ek din toh woh waapis kaatega hi na.
Exactly 💯 . There is no one to keep the dogs point of view. Dogs only become aggressive when someone treats them badly except for some exceptions that prevail everywhere even in humans also.
I grew up around puppies, squirrels and parrots during my childhood. Most were abandoned, injured and let go. All raised by my mom. Now i realise a part of having them was a emotional support which my abusive dad never gave to my mom. I learnt responsibilities raising them, upkeeping and mainly hygiene. Me being an asthmatic found it difficult but those pets were like a family and they instilled lot of morale and emotional support.

My sister bought a labrador 2 years ago. I was totally against it, mom was neutral and dad was kindly favour of it. But life became hell as sister stays outside, comes once a week. Most of dog things have to manage by ourselves. Yeah we've a big 3 story home but managing dog isn't. Have to cook seperate food, and nature call.
Now parents can't leave it because of emotional attachment.

You should have taken a stand atthe time. When my nephew wanted one and my sister was acting all cutesy about it, i gave them an earful and told them you will be abusing an animal because you are not equipped to care for it. Fortunately they listened. Now that you have not taken a stand, you must be responsible and care for the poor animal. Thats your punishment and lesson for being a part of an unwise decision

I would like to add to that for people keeping long haired dogs like Husky and golden retrievers which are not meant for Indian climatic conditions.
No matter how hard one tries these breeds are going to suffer in a cramped Indian setting.
Each dog breed is designed with a purpose, people must be aware of the purpose they have. People keep exotic breeds to show off without knowing what they are meant for.
these types of people need to be trolled by society on a regular basis to keep them on check.

I was lucky i was super active in super due to my school, was in basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess, volleyball, hockey and thoda sa cricket aur football.
I also was marathon runner in my school.
And i feel odd one out here among other indians, there is a very recognisable difference, i think aap samajh jaenge, please consider a video on this topic.

Yaha Germany me to Stray dogs, Stray Birds, Stray kuch dikhta hi nahi. Dur dur tak Insaan ke alawa koi aur jeev dikhta hi nahi. Environment ke naam pe bas hari ghaas he aur "planned" greenery he. Thode bohot chote chote Jungle he usme bhi koi animals nahi hote jyada. India me hi real life flourish ho rahi he. Ye foreign wala Pet paalne wala kida waha na grow ho to achha he.

I was eagerly waiting for someone to talk about this topic. Fact - per year 20k people die in India because of rabies caused by dog bites and majority of these incidents happen with kids.

And if you want to justify 20k+ human deaths alone in India caused by rabies to killing of animals because of human taste then for just one moment imagine any one of your close relative being rabies positive. @@ashwintijare2416 i can understand how your upbringing has been done where you don't have any empathy towards animals, I know the way you are writing your point shows that you are not aware about animals suffering, how street dogs or other strays suffer to get food on daily basis and due to lack of food they fight amongst each other and due to that they caught various disease including rabies and no animal harm humans unless and until humans abused them. So if you abused any animal they may not attack you but if some other person do something they will attack them as we can see in some videos where strays attacked children.
Just search how dairy industry works, poultry farming done you will understand there is no evil person like humans on earth.

You're mostly correct. But, incorrect even it comes to saying that all dogs are unhygienic. In western countries people keep dogs inside home and they're very hygienic.
I also agree that it's almost impossible to maintain a dog in an apartment setting. You need a house with a backyard to keep any kind of dog

This is what I told one of my friend, she was influencing me to adopt a dog especially in lockdown but I don’t want… now we don’t talk much😅 bcz I said if you and your other friends are dog lovers then why do you care only in Diwali and at home her parents abused that dog… hit dog with broom so hard… other incident in my building is they take dog in lift and suddenly when lift door opens it comes near and gives a sudden fear attack..then they say sweet dog hai she won’t do anything
