Touching this car is like trying to upgrade the Mona Lisa painting. The exterior is a nice restomod interpretation of the 300SL , but all those modern elements in the interior really threw me off...P.S. nice work Shawn, nothing but love for this channel!
When he was talking about the cleanest sound in a stereo, that was right down my alley. I gutted the factory stereo out of my 1992 300zx twin turbo and replace every wire with 100% oxygen free cooper wire. I even was able to locate a 1984 Nakamichi amp to pair with my Pioneer deh-pr80s head unit. Subs are kicker comps with an old skool Soundstream reference amp from the early 1990s..
I'm most definitely NOT an artist. Coming up with these great ideas escapes me. I'm more of a Modder. I take something that exists and mod it into something. My build/fab style is just like these guys. ( I prefer socket cap screws vs. button head though ;) ) So this build made me super happy. Happy to see what I COULD DO if i had the funding and someone to make the design.

When he said 7 figure car i had to rewatch it and i see alot of flaws in the leather work like the folds and wrinkles above the gauge cluster and the leather panel popping off from the fender under the hood...BUT regaurdless of all that this car is still a work of art.
Great video. The vehicle is badass. I’m not sold on using the donor chassis. I would rather see them develop their own chassis. I guess the donor chassis is easier to register.
Perfect example of ' just because you can, doesn't mean you should ' and definitely hard proof that money doesn't buy taste. I guess congratulations is due , it's nearly impossible to make a gullwing look like shit yet here we are....
cool color and cool idea swap v8 from amg. But wheels, of course.. now there are many options of rims, that do not spoil the old days and look fashionable
A gullwing is so iconic and beautiful on its own I personally would have gone very bland, simple paint and trim. Let the stance and shape do all the talking.

I have to admit, at first I went "Holy Crap" but now that I know its a "copy" as it were I think it is slick. Kinda the ultimate restomod.
