Love the woodwind writing here and how he weaves in the Wedding March quotation. This plus his arrangement of Wagner's Flying Dutchman overture are just great displays of Hindemith's sense of humor. He must've been a great guy to be around.
This concerto is delightful. The 2nd movement in particular is so ingenious with the extensive use of canon and imitation. The B section (8:47) is also quite lovely; you rarely get to hear these four instruments play in unison.

Brilliant.
Love this piece. Paul Hindemith is amazing.
Sounds like something out of Final Fantasy 12 particularly the first movement.

La resa sonora di questa musica è incredibile. Accordi di nona che suonano come triadi maggiori.
J'écoute par hasard ce petit bijou. Bonne nouvelle pour tous les blasés : il reste des trésors à découvrir !
This a delightful piece. I heard it once on the radio (30, 40 odd years ago?) but haven't encountered it since. Thank you for posting this video.
Great.
너무 좋네요 감사합니다.
The tuttis tend to be rather bombastic in comparison to the solo group. This also occurs in the Violin Concerto.
