Can't be a country with more great all-female bands in various genres than Japan. I first saw this band when they were on a brief tour with Band-Maid (speaking of which) in 2016.

Bridear has been around for quite a while and has gone through some lineup changes. The current one is my favorite ... this one is quite old but very good. Kimi (vo) and Haru (ba) are the only original members remaining. They are now joined by the Sukiyaki sisters Ayumi and Moe both on guitar and Natsumi (dr) who came over after TELECiDE broke up. Kimi has worked very hard to mostly perform in English.

Also, you could check another all-female super-band (they playing in other bands, but from time to time play together) called "Doll$box". I recommend their songs from live performance back in 2018. Let's say - "Take my Chance" or "Shout Down". You wouldn't be disappointed, for sure! To give you a hint - they have drummer/growler! 😀

During Covid, they were one of the few bands touring Europe, so I took a chance even if I wasn't much familiar with Bridear. Two songs in and I was a fan - they're a great live band too and this song is an audience favorite.

Thank you for jumping right on this one! Wow. You are really dedicated! So, background on Bridear:
One of the second wave of all-female heavy-metal bands, founded in 2011. They go hard and heavy, and epitomize the technical side of Japanese rock bands. Here is the original lineup:
    Kimi-Vocals
    Haru-Bass, growls
    Misa-Guitars, growls
    Mitsuru-Guitars (pink flying V)
    Kai-Drums
In 2019, Kai left to start a family, Misa left to pursue her own musical vision, Mitsuru soon followed, and they had to bebuild. Amazingly, they did so without any loss in quality, finding Misaki and Ayumi on Guitar, and Natsumi, formerly of Telecide, to take over on drums (after a brief trial with another drummer).
    Second Lineup:
    Kimi-vocals
    Haru-bass, growls/metal vocals
    Misaki-Guitar, audience left
    Ayumi-Guitar, audience right
    Natsumi-Drums
I saw them live in London just after this lineup came together, and they were explosive, playing mostly stuff from the original lineup. They have experimented with a variety of styles, dabbling in progressive and pop, but they still come back to their metal roots. In “Brave New World Revisited” (ruclips.net/video/_6-OXcyMkYI/видео.html) they’ve got a masterpiece. It’s also a tour-de-force for their brilliant young guitarist Ayumi. With work like this, they should re-emerge into the top tier of Japanese bands.
In early 2022, Misaki, who suffers from severe stage fright, left the band for health reasons, and they scrambled to find a new co-lead guitarist. They have been joined by Moe, and their first release with her on board showcases some great dual shredding between her and Ayumi. Hopefully this lineup will last!
    From the original lineup:
    “Light in the Dark” ruclips.net/video/CN3KDIBdosQ/видео.html
    “Ignite” ruclips.net/video/LQIDqudG_DQ/видео.html
    Second Lineup:
    “Starlight” ruclips.net/video/4lq90GqRxiE/видео.html
    “Bloody Bride” ruclips.net/video/CN3KDIBdosQ/видео.html
    “Brave New World Revisited” ruclips.net/video/_6-OXcyMkYI/видео.html

One of the best gigs I have ever been to at the front was amazing, bassist Haru 4 foot 8 I think with a beautiful smile but she sings like she's got the demon from the exorcist living inside her. singer Kimi voice was on form all night. Drummer Natsumi powerhouse and smiling reminds me a little of Akane . Guitarists Moe and Ayumi were on fire, Moe came across like she was a little shy. Ayumi is even more beautiful when you see her in real life ... Check out Fategear another amazing band live, saw them with Junna on the drums Bonus. Would love to see Bridear/Fategear tour :) ... Also check out Drummer Junna !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Btw I think you're ready now to see where all those bands come from! There was a seminal all-female band who peaked during the eighties (and are still playing with the original line-up!): SHOW-YA. They were extremely popular and most of those japanese metal bands are their "grand daughters"- they opened the doors. They were an extremely good live band (and still are) and had several hit (their song "Lovers" is one of those song EVERY band like to cover). Instead of the usual suggestions, I recommand "SHOW-YA-02-I gotta your love (LIVE 1989)" - I'm sure you'll love it!

Another great all female Japanese band.. Do some more of them they are way cool...
Here is another one for you.. One of the Pioneers of the all female Japanese rock and metal band onslaught..
The band is called Aldious.. Watching your Nemophila reactions, I think you will really enjoy them..
They have had lots of health problems with their singers sadly, but have lots of great tracks out there.
I personally like the singer Re:No with her silky smooth velvety voice, makes a nice change to the screams, growls and rasps, which I really like as well.
Here are three tracks to try out from them.
    1 Sweet temptation MV
    2 Reincarnation Live
    2 We are MV
There are plenty more tracks but this is a great start for you..
Best wishes to you from France..

The thing I love about Lovebites, that I don't like about these other bands, has little to do with the music. Their music is great, the song is a good one. The problem is the voice. Most of these Japanese female bands have thin sounding lead vocalist. Asami, of Lovebites, has a thick, rich voice. Just enough for metal and rock. Even hers is on the verge of being to light. So, this lead vocalist doesn't stand a chance. For this type of voice to make sense, this would have to be labeled Pop-rock, or Pop-metal. Another good example of a more powerful Japanese female voice would be Nemophila's vocalist. She has a growl and a rasp to her voice.
