What is totally mind blowing there is video of them singing this, live, off mic at the Ryman. The crowd was so quiet you could have hear a pin drop. Yes, you would really enjoy their version of American Pie. When Don McClain got his star on the walk of fame, he asked Home Free to come and perform part of the song for the crowd. When a legend like that wants to you come and sing their song for a crowd that has come to honor them, I don't think there is any higher compliment than that.
This song will put shivers down your spine absolutely breathtaking Adam Chance your voice is Heavenly.. absolutely beautifuly done Home Free. Love you my Boys 🏡🆓🏡🍟
I grew up listening to CSN & had their album with this song Helplessly Hoping. Absolutely loved them & their harmonies. But I must say since I discovered Home Free they more than do justice to all the songs they cover. And this song is perfection to me with the 5 part harmonies. I can't say enough about how great these guys are & humble while still staying respectful to the original song.
You are completely right. I've heard them sing off mic standing maybe 4 ft i front of them. They don't need anything but their voices. How fun that your dad is now also a fan! Y'all really should go to a concert together to experience this awesomeness live. Of course the tightness and fullness of the harmonies of some songs are not quite up to the studio versions as the guys also move, and in the studio they had more than one to to make it perfect, but when they sing a song specifically to highlight their harmonising skills it's fast and beyond the studio version. What makes their concerts special is that first of all they call them parties and it is. They are true entertainers and they mix the awesomeness of their music and talents with connecting with their audience, with jokes, banter, questions and you leave feeling uplifted and at the top of the world. It's why many of us keep going back for more. They just change us, moved us into love and joy, and it's worth traveling, costs and the time over and over again. Great reaction, guys! Looking forward to the next one! 🥰🙏
I’m agreeing with all the suggestions, and would like to add “I Can’t Outrun You”(5 part harmony) and “Butts Medley”(shows their fun side). “End of the Road” is a must for your HF journey.
Oh they’re so good. This is one of my favorites. The harmonizing is off the charts. This was Chance’s baby (he’s the first singer). He directed it. Another one he directed is I Can’t Outrun You…it’s tremendous. Lots of bass. Another tremendous one with lots of bass is Brothers in Arms….amazing! Great reaction boys!!! Have a good week. 😍
For their just harmonizing with no beat boxing or other percussion sounds, listen to "How Great Thou Art". Adam Rupp sings a line by him self and the setting is as breathtaking as their harmonies.
How Great Thou Art, and ANY Christmas song will bring you more of these harmonies. Brothers in Arms is fantastic as well! Your reactions are priceless!!
This sing is so well done by Home Free. If y'all react to Brothers In Arms next...maybe you would like...Hillbilly Bone...Butts Remix...Friends In Low Places...for a bit of fun. Thanks for a great reaction.
I agree with a number of other commenters that "Brothers in Arms" is another cover of theirs with a similar intense harmony of 5 voices. I would also recommend "End of the Road" and go out on a limb and say that it may even eclipse "Mayday" on your ranking list of HF songs.
The original of this song was sung by Crosby, Stills, and Nash in 1969. These guys had several hits through the 70's. CSN songs are tailor made for HF, because they were known for their cool, tight harmonies. (Since you guys love great harmonies, you might want to check out their most iconic song, Suite:Judy Blue Eyes.) HF certainly hit this one out of the park!
You should give Brothers in Arms a listen. It's almost haunting, gut wrenching and gives you something to think about. Another one would be Misty Mountains (Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust). Misty Mountains and Brothers in Arms are both mesmerizing. As you've come to realize, you can't go wrong with Home Free. Adam Rupp has several drum solos on RUclips. The list goes on-and-on. Enjoy the journey!
I am so glad y’all reacted to this one! It’s one of their best! Since you mentioned “The Hobbit”, you will love the collaboration of Peter Hollens and Tim Foust on “Misty Mountain”. You will be blown away again. Peter has a large following on RUclips. He’s collaborated with Home Free a few times, and many times with Tim, and also with Chance, I believe. Also, check out The Hound _ The Fox with Tim, or Chance.
It is insane how talented Home Free is! I have been a fan now for almost a year and they have come to be my favorite group! Their sound and style is so special including their personalities and sense of humor. It is on my bucket list to see them live one day, I pray they come to California soon. Great reaction, you both are definitely Home Fries. lol
I love watching you guys reactions to Home Free, They are my favorite and you guys make my day with your excitement and banter. Cracks me up. Seriously though Home Free has the tightest harmonies I've ever heard. Thanks again
You must watch Brothers in Arms and How Great Thou Art... fantastic harmonies. For special highlight on beatboxing, try 9to5 Breakdown or one of Adam's drum solos. I don't know how he can go that long without breathing!! Enjoy your reactions and welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole, what a journey awaits you.
Love this study in five part harmony and like others, it's just too dang short. This was Chance's project, he came up with concept and directed it. I agree that Brothers in Arms is another beautiful 5 part harmony selection. You also might try Misty Mountains by Peter Hollens and Tim Foust.... Tim's bass rattles not only the camera but your soul
That song is over 50 years old, the original by Crosby, Stills and Nash. They did harmonising to the max. And the Home Free cover is, in it's brilliance, a respectful bow towards the original.
Thanks for your enthusiastic reaction to one of my favorite Home Free music videos. Am new to your channel. Good to see you've discovered Home Free. I see you're only six songs into your Home Free journey, and you're already discovering that these five guys absolutely never disappoint; they just keep getting better! They've just released a couple of love songs for Valentine's Day: Make You Feel My Love and Unchained Melody. Both are wonderfully sung (of course!), and both videos will surprise you.
I can’t get enough of you guys reacting to Home Free!!! 🙌. There are so soooo many songs and videos for you to watch. My absolute favourite is Sold! But Woman, Amen/Female is another one to be amazed at. I’ve been lucky enough to have seen them live quite a few times here in Europe and if you get the chance you really should go to one of their shows. Happy Swedish fan here!
I don't mind telling you, i got so excited when i saw a new Home Free reaction from you guys!! I love the way you react to their videos! Keep em comin! Subbed!
I belong to a 30-voice men's chourus. Most of us are from Wisconsin, and we have problems matching vowel sounds. Now, consider the fact that you have two guys from Minnesota, one from Texas, one from Alabama, and one from Georgia, and they all BLEND so perfectly!
Awesome reaction guys!! For a comic song that HF does try Butts Remix. Yours, or Heaven, When a Man Loves a Woman, American Pie. Whatever songs you choose to do. There all great 👍
New subscriber here! I’m a metal/alt music lover but I have a soft spot for Acapella. Love the harmonies. Home Free really has those harmonies nailed and they’re all super talented as stand alone vocalists too. BTW... I was browsing your channel and didn’t see any Voice Play! You MUST react to them. They’ll blow your mind. 💣 💥 Not Just their harmonies, BUT their creativity and production. They’re theater kids so they really tap into that. I’ll be watching you guys! 🙌
If you are a LOTR fan (as I am), you are likely to be blown away by Tim Foust (the bass from this group) singing with Peter Hollens singing "Misty Mountains" (from the Hobbit). Peter Hollens also has a whole album of Middle Earth music. And if you've not seen it, Billy Boyd's "Last Farewell" is likely to stir some emotions. I'll post a link to that below.
And just think there are soooo many more that you havnt reacted to. We are here for it we love seeing people fall on love with these guys. Butts remix is next you guys have to a fun one.
This is one of my absolute favorites from Home Free. Great reaction! If you like technical genius, I recommend Pentatonix and their cover of Kiiara's "Gold." Another incredibly talented group.
There are more groups like this. Pentatonix are the club mixers, Voctave is the family friendly group, HomeFree are the country boys, and Voice play are the theater kids.😁 They all are wickedly sick talented!😍
American Pie will totally blow you away considering that they perform with the original artist that wrote the song. Anything they do will blow you away.
If you haven't heard their "Brothers in Arms", that's even higher on the harmonic intensity scale.
Seconding -- Brothers in Arms is a m a a z i n g.
Beautiful! I think Brothers in Arms will blow you away. End Of The Road is another one that is mind blowing. Rob literally kills it.
Home Free just nails this SO well. Other worldly.
What is totally mind blowing there is video of them singing this, live, off mic at the Ryman. The crowd was so quiet you could have hear a pin drop. Brothers in arms will blow your minds!
Three words, BROTHERS IN ARMS.
Home Free's harmonies are so tight, you need a scalpel to separate 'em.
This song will put shivers down your spine absolutely breathtaking Adam Chance your voice is Heavenly.. absolutely beautifuly done Home Free. Love you my Boys 🏡🆓🏡🍟
If you watch How Great Thou Art you will hear Adam Rupp actually sing a verse.
Is it a verse? I think he just sang 6 words in total lmao
I agree, you need to react to Brothers in Arms..... haunting and beautiful
You want chills? React to their cover of Dire Straits' Brothers in Arms.
Bring tissues.
ABSOLUTELY!! Haunting and Beautiful
Absolutely agreed. Yall need to watch it.
Please!

Great reaction, guys! Looking forward to the next one! 🥰🙏
His is the best example of flawless harmonies ever!
Brothers in Arms is another amazing song with them harmonizing together, you have to check it out!

@@leslieoneal4464 🤗🤗❤️
You definitely need to do Brothers in Arms, you love harmonies, you'll love this one, loving your reactions ❤ from UK
I’m agreeing with all the suggestions, and would like to add “I Can’t Outrun You”(5 part harmony) and “Butts Medley”(shows their fun side). “End of the Road” is a must for your HF journey.
this has one thing wrong with it...it's too short. Yes, do the American Pie collab with the original writer/singer of the song 50 years ago
Oh they’re so good. This is one of my favorites. The harmonizing is off the charts. This was Chance’s baby (he’s the first singer). He directed it. Brothers in Arms gave me eargasms. I think it is probably the best example of them layering together. It is in my top 5 of Home Free's songs.
How Great Thou Art, and ANY Christmas song will bring you more of these harmonies. Brothers in Arms is fantastic as well! Your reactions are priceless!!
Home Free has dropped another cover for Valentines Day and it was Unchained Melody. This is a awesome song !!!!!🎼🎵🦋💕🎶
Wholeheartedly agree with your comments. Brothers In Arms harmonies will definitely give you chills. Love your reactions.
This sing is so well done by Home Free. If y'all react to Brothers In Arms next...maybe you would like...Hillbilly Bone...Butts Remix...Friends In Low Places...for a bit of fun. Thanks for a great reaction.
Great reactions! I hope you get a chance to see Home Free on tour and experience the awesomeness.

They are so good. Brothers in Arms is a must. Great reaction
The ability to start and stop in the same pitch. Wow. Vocal excellence

Check out Brothers in Arms and even though Christmas is gone, try Do You Hear What I Hear, both will blow you away.
I just realized how insane it was for Rob to mimic chance's voice. That's crazy
"How Great Thou Art" All five sing.
They also have originals. "Dreamer" "Drive Bar Saints" "Catch me if you Can." and "champagne taste on a beer budget" to name a few.
Such a great reaction! Loved it, guys. The harmonies in this are just next level top tier. One of my favorites.
You should also watch the HF version of Brothers in Arms.
How Great Tho Art is a other 5 harmony so far by them, Brothers in Arms also is amazing
You have to listen to their cover of Brothers In Arm, it's insanely good
Please please please keep reacting to Home Free!!!!!
You should give Brothers in Arms a listen. It's almost haunting, gut wrenching and gives you something to think about. Another one would be Misty Mountains (Peter Hollens featuring Tim Foust). This is a master class on how to do harmony no one does it better than Home Free
I always wonder why these amazing guys aren't mainstream yet!!!!
Radio stations won't play them.
Because they're just redoing what others have done....
How many "mainstream" cover bands can you name...? a few at best.
Besides the unbelievable harmonies, getting to hear Adam Rupp actually sing is a real treat ❤️🎼🥰🎶❤️
Your reactions are so impressive and educating at the same time, which increases my enjoyment of Home Free to an even greater level.😮
Harder than harmony is singing in unison, and Chase and Rob did it flawlessly!
It is insane how talented Home Free is! I have been a fan now for almost a year and they have come to be my favorite group! Their sound and style is so special including their personalities and sense of humor. It is on my bucket list to see them live one day, I pray they come to California soon. If you want chills then you must react to "Brothers In Arms"!!!!
Yes, AP is absolutely fantastic. Each one outdid himself. Possibly the best performance Tim has ever done IMHO. Don still has it. Nice job guys!
How Great Thou Art is features that amazing harmonization. Adam Rupp (beat boxer) actually sings in that one, too. And he's got a great voice.
In The Blood and My Church are also very good.
Blue ain't your color is another great cover by them.
Also Country Roads, really you can't go wrong with any Home Free.
Yes, love Blue Aint Your Color!
Perfection. Period.
This song always leaves me Helplessly Hoping for more.
Love your reaction. So respectful. 💕
I love you guys 😁. You guys pretty much are my internal thoughts while listening to Home Free 🤣
Loved the reaction. There is a recording of Home Free doing this song live without mics. Even if you don't record it, it is worth a listen.
Loved this reaction! Thanks!
Try listening to How Great Thou Art, Seven Bridges Road or Brothers in Arms for amazing harmonies.
love your reactions to home free .. it's always entertaining. my only dislike about this song is its too short
New sub here, the harmonies on Brothers In Arms is unbelievable!

I've always loved the original but this added a different color and texture that I felt to my soul. I am convinced they can do no wrong. Thank-you

LOVE that you're a LOTR fan... from a died in the wool Ring Geek, that's great!
Brothers in Arms is probably the best they ever done so far. And I said so far. And try The Butts Remix for some fun
Adam kills it 🔥
You need to react to Brothers in Arms
Crosby Stills and Nash did this without pitch control
The only thing wrong with this is that it's too short! 🔥❤🔥❤🙏
If you guys got chills with this song.
Brothers in Arms will give you frostbite. 😂😂😂
One of my absolute favorites from Home Free, just too short. Always have to watch it at least twice. Perfect 5 part harmony.
😍 Thanks!
Great reaction
And just think there are soooo many more that you havnt reacted to. We are here for it we love seeing people fall on love with these guys. Butts remix is next you guys have to a fun one.
