@@NoUserU When you choose "flourish under the warm bosom of my hellish reign" instead of "perish" Ralsei asks, "Bosom?" In an embarrassed way, and then Queen says "It means Tity"
I will never understand how Therm basically predicted this entire chapter
the wet noodle whom lives in the machinery that humans call “blender”…he has brain power beyond imagination…it’s unsettling
He did the exact same thing with undertale’s pacifist route it was actually insane to watch

Speaking as someone who was a gifted kid, I 100% agree with Therm. I was a gifted kid. I got burnt out. I am not a jerk. In fact, people tend to tell me I'm incredibly compassionate.
Humble, too I bet
Berdly's backstory wasn't fully about him being a gifted kid though, if that's what you're referring to. It's about the fact that he was neglected so badly that he felt like he had to be the best just so people would pay attention to him, causing him to develop a complex around that. He isn't a dick because he's a gifted kid, he's a dick because he's trying to portray this "I'm smarter than you" attitude so people will give him attention. Also all the times he kind of speaks up over Noelle like the beginning of this chapter is because he thinks she has a bunch of nerves about speaking up in front of others, it's why he thinks she lost the spelling bell contest, he's not going about it in the right way, but he does care about Noelle (as shown in the snow grave route)
@@anerdyrat I agree with you completely. That is my personal interpretation of Berdly's story, I was simply speaking about what Therm said about gifted kids as I have some sort of experience with that :)
I didn't want to put it in the comment for the sake of being concise, but I actually quite like Berdly as a character and find him interesting. Apologies for the misunderstanding!

Sorry for the misunderstanding on my part, it just saddens when people misunderstand his story since I think it has so much potential in future chapters. i feel like Ralsei can go to different worlds because his fountain is different than the other ones. In the beginning it was just him there so he definitely uses a different fountain. But he is definitely hiding something because he doesn’t obey the rules of the Darkner which he is.
He's probably a lightner (probably the missing person that shares the room with Kris)

look up a spoiler free guide for the snowgrave route. theres alot more going on in chapter 2
if you want to, you could play the hidden „genocide“ route of the game. i dont want to spoiler anything bur you could google how to do it and play through different dialogues and a way way darker story than the „normal“ route. Snowgrave Route is the name if I remember right. :) Love your videos btw they make me happy ❤
