Out of all the bugsnax playthroughs i've watched (and even with me playing through the game once to total completion) I never once realized that Eggabell's last line in the first video diary ("I'd fall to pieces without you") is HEAVY foreshadowing.

I realized that after watching this.
It was even heavier foreshadowing in the original plans; Eggabell was supposed to die and fall into Bugsnax pieces
The near instant turnaround from thinking Filbo sucks to him being his favorite character, initially mostly out of spite against Beffica for bullying him, is so funny.
It happens with every play through, and it is deserved.

It’s so sad cuz it’s my favorite series (that I wasn’t even around for at the time it was being uploaded) and seeing the gradual decline in his enjoyment with the game is just🤧
Therm, I gotta say. I think you're the ONLY PERSON I've seen play this game and actually find the snak golem before the ending. Nobody else has seen it that I've watched. That's wild
Its super rare to run into them before the ending! you can see them if you turn around in the undersnax, but otherwise they only appear in a few set locations and disappear about a second after you spot them o: Unless you know where to look you're not likely to run into them during a normal run until the end!
If you're up for watching someone's unedited playthrough, I'd highly recommend watching Hollowtones playthrough! Holly streamed the whole game, and found many things (intentional and not) during her thorough playthrough!
@@55minecraft weird I literally encountered more than a dozen times, it was always at night at the beach. To be fair though, I kind of went crazy and caught everything for the ranch which I doubt many did

Those streams were so much fun but also gave me such whiplash because Therm would spend three hours insulting the characters, threatening to murder them, shrieking in frustration, and then end every stream saying "I love this game this is the best I'm having so much fun"

This game checks none of the boxes of what usually makes me interested in a game but for some reason it just sucked me in, this was so entertaining to watch

I am extremely surprised you managed to get really close to what the big twist is! Most of the people I've watched have written off that first video diary as unimportant. It was crazy watching you figure out what happened if you ate too many bugsnax!

How is it possible the player is even allergic to something they never encountered though? Usually you get allergies by becoming sensitized to them, unless Grumpus anatomy differs...
the random screams at characters really take the cake for me
honestly i underestimated bugsnax, I wasn't very fond of the character design so i just decided to not watch gameplays or anything but now that i have, i gotta admit that i love it! the way the characters are fleshed out, each one has an unique personality and their own stories (which also connect with other's) and the twist was pretty unexpected too.
the perfect example of don't judge a book (or game in this case) for it's cover!
The Chandlo x Snorpy storyline was so good, I love 🥹

OH! one of my favorite games!!! you played it after the dlc came out, the mailbox, hut, and other island are all new features :) i also recommend people to look up bad end dialogue and/or gameplay. these characters can die
ps also its nice to find someone who Also didn't care for Beffica regardless of her backstory, a lot of people i see go right along with her being your 'bestie'
I was befficas bestie mainly because I was *really* playing into the journalist role and wanted all the drama, but I do agree, she is the worst right along with floofty and wiggles

My little brother loved this game, and even used an aphantasiac instance from me to make a water bottle themed bug snax (Watta Botta, cute as hell) and then they dropped on me that the game is a body horror game. THESE THINGS LOOK LIKE MUPPETS, WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT IS A HORROR GAME?!

This is overall an amazing game, but the gay subplot is my favorite part. Himbo and anxious nerd is an amazing pairing
