this is such a good video!! i was filming a small bit about AoS and wanted to double check what i said as i hadn't researched it for years. that's when i found this video and it's exactly what i thought, only told so well it could be an official documentary! the music, your voice andd storytelling. amazing!
@@plantgayforlife you’re welcome! Please keep posting..I have learned so much from you..especially with Anthurium! I’m hooked on the species..I have over 150 plant’s in my home..I’m ready to say f*ck the rest and only have Anthurium..after watching your video’s..I am so much more confident in myself as to how I take care of them!❤️
@@jodieagle4178 that means so much, thank you! I'm glad my videos are helping! I'm trying my best to post once a week unless I don't have a video ready to go haha😝
We need a video explaining hybrids and how they work exactly, and how if you just combine 2 plants that's not the same as some of the famous "named" hybrids, etc.. it's so confusing.
That would be a great video! I’ll definitely make that. The shorter answer to your question is that every seedling (like people) is unique and a little different. So the named hybrids are either clones or carefully selected to have consistent traits, whereas the rest of the seedlings of that same cross might look different and less desirable.
There are several versions of the story. What I heard is similar to what the author described. AOS may be a native species. Because aroids were not taken seriously in the early days and the pride was cheap, farms did not need to put as much effort into complex hybrid.
Such a good story and captivatingly told.💚
Much appreciated!☺️
You really have a gift for storytelling. As everyone else here has conveyed. Another excellent video, keep em coming!
Thank you! More to come for sure!

@@plantgayforlife looking forward to it!
I like this kind of video's a lot more than those where you're trying to be a comedian. 😁
You’re gonna see a lot of both on this channel
@@plantgayforlife Just started watching the one about A.Papililumlalimenalinum. Or something like that...
Close enough 👌
Some say Ace is a complex hybrid involving Dressleri/Papillilaminum x Crystallinum
We will never sadly now that the mother plant is gone.

Aos Originally from Indonesia

You are copying the style of mickey bustos.
