These videos are so good. I could watch a 2 hour documentary like this. “He’s not slow you are just impatient”….”she’s not the diva, you are” finally someone said that out loud!
Keepin it real out here😎
My ONLY complaint was this was not long enough!! Loved the science and comedy. New to your channel and find you absolutely fun. Thank you and please make more of these, but longer!! 🙏🏾🌱
Thank you! Welcome to the mess! Plenty more coming soon!😉
Another superbly narrated and edited mini-doc! Luv it!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!😁
You’re the diva 😂
You’re impatient 🙌
Laughed out loud.
I know people mean well and are likely joking but your comebacks have jumped into my head so often (not in a harsh way though).
I have a similar reaction to the statement “that plant hates me”.
Like… it’s not responding well to your care or maybe the conditions aren’t right. Consider if there are other problems like pests or maybe that particular plant didn’t have a good start before it came into your care.
It’s expressing an unmet need.
But I personalize my plants too so the idea that I have opinions about the topic at all is not completely sound.
Yes! Plants don’t feel emotion. So they can’t hate us. But we can hate ourselves for spending money on a plant that struggles in our care, and then put the blame on the plant so we feel better about ourselves. If you claim a plant hates you, you only hate yourself.
Sincerely,
Plant Therapist For Life

Fantastic video 👏 love it when you do these, thank you for the time and effort you put into them 🌱💚🫶🏼
Much appreciated!☺️🙏💗
Impressive how they were crowned the king and queen in the 19th century. I figured it was just a sales gimmick!
I couldn’t find any information on why they were given those nicknames but I assume they were just THAT enamored with them at the time haha!
Great job! Loved this❤️
Thank you☺️
More of these
Plenty more to come😉
My friend, this video was done extremely well! I just purchased both of these plants for the first time and I can’t wait until they arrive lol! I appreciate all the useful information you’ve shared with all of us. Thank you 💖

zankyoo!😌💕
Love everything about this video!! Thank you :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Awesome!
Omggg you should have a tv show looove it 😅
I guess RUclips is my tv show!
I ordered a baby king (plug) after watching this. What are your thoughts on growing it in fluval stratum?
They certainly can! I haven’t grown plugs before so not sure how to establish them, but I mounted my king to my terrarium wall to allow it to reroot after shipping and then when it had good roots I put it in sphag moss with fluval at the bottom and it’s loving life😊
@@plantgayforlife thanks so much for your reply! I’ve done philo and syngonium in fluval (sometimes with pearlite thrown in) and they’ve done great and I think recovered from winter shipping shock much better vs the ones that went right into aroid mix.
I will report back!
I love your videos 😊
Thanks!😁
Love you chanel :)
Thanks!!
have you ever come across a king x queen hybrid?
They are in different sections which makes them difficult and nearly incompatible for breeding. But once in a while anthuriums from different sections have been successfully crossed so you never know.
Could you cross them?
They are in different sections so it would be difficult
Don't make it rain honey 🤣🤣🤣🤣 OMG you make me laugh
