Tiene potencial pero, hoy en día, no podría ser como la NBA o NFL donde es verdadero que juegan los mejores del deporte. El fútbol europeo es de otro nivel.

Rewatching this in 2024 after losing Zelarayan and winning another MLS CUP I still cry. This game meant so much to us fans cause we had to fight for our team. I sure do wish Zelarayan could have been here for the 2023 MLS cup. Columbus misses you so much.

CONGRATULATIONS, COLUMBUS CREW!!! 2020 MLS Cup Champions. Knew you guys could do it. You brought the cup back to C-bus. Now, it's time to open that new stadium in July, 2021. Thank you for your winning season amidst the pandemic (wish Mapfre Stadium was sold out), thank you for making Jimmy and Dee Haslam (Cleveland Browns owners) MLS champion owners. And thank you for what you have done for both Columbus and Ohio in professional soccer. In fact, let's see what happens with FC Cincinnati in the coming years, as a sure rivalry is bound to grow with the Crew. Can't wait for that to happen. But for now, it's time to celebrate the Black and Gold.

@@coityfresh Well from personal experience, last year playoffs when LAFC played Seattle, there were 3-4 uncalled and blatant handballs (incidental contact should not be a PK, I agree, but these were blatant) in Seattle's penalty area. Had those been called, it'd be an entirely different game. So I don't know man, Seattle seems like they get real lucky with the calls or lack thereof in playoffs.

@@coityfresh and warrior fight I agree this club is always lucky in terms of the playoffs and final in 2016 however if there was not alot of these good luck or benefit it would be entirely different change in their history of winning in my opinion

I arrived to the US 20 years ago, and argued with an American soccer fan and friend over whether the US would ever be truly good at soccer (I said no).

I think you’re wrong. It might not be magnificent or whatever but it’s definitely not bad and it’s rapidly growing to being one of the best leagues in such a short amount of time.
Depends on your measuring stick for "good" I guess. Top 20 team on the planet? Then the USA is good. Contender for World Cup? Then no, but only like four teams are good then.
If you're talking about the league then you're definitely wrong. MLS now >>>>> MLS 20 years ago. Who knows where it'll be in 20 more.
@@internetreferee8463 Something these people never consider either is that in their home country.. soccer is thee premier sport there and it gets 99% of the talent and resources that country can offer. That’s far from the case in America. Soccer is barely a top 5 sport here and the vast majority of our best talent and resources goes into 4 different sports before soccer. If soccer was #1 here like it is everywhere else in the world.. our mens team would have several world cups by now and would be on the same level as Brazil, France and Germany. Even so though, we’re always a dangerous team and we can beat anyone in the world on any given day. The problem is, we have trouble sustaining that kind of success.
