Seattle's fans have been like this for over 40 years of the clubs existence. The best game to attend (outside of this years MLS Cup) is the annual Portland - Seattle derby. In the Seattle area it seems like I and all of my friends grew up playing. The Sounders have been a fixture in the area that entire time, so there's an entire generation which grew up with them and packed the stadium the moment they entered MLS.
