You can tell MLS is mad about Seattle winning the Cup because they haven't released a single video about them or the fact they've won 2 in 4 years. If LAFC had won, there would be 3000 videos uploaded by now all about LAFC and nothing but LAFC. I love pissing in MLSs cereal.
@@michaelp2462 ok fam you're comparing college football to NFL? Idc. I'm talking about MLS, nobody cares about the MLS Facts. You guys arent even nearly as close to the big 4 major sports leagues and the stats show
Wow Pow Why are you here then? NFL is losing fans, as is MLB. MLS is growing. For a league that started just 25 years ago behind 4 other established sports, the growth is fantastic. And that’s keeping in mind there’s still plenty of soccer fans who haven’t come around yet because they follow European leagues or Mexican. With the quality improving every year, those people are slowly coming around, and new fans are getting interested every year. 69,000 at the final in Seattle last week. The league has better average attendance than NBA and NHL now, and catching up to MLB.
I'm only starting to get into the MLS this upcoming season will be the first season I follow from beginning to end. Hopefull Houston Dynamo can make it a memorable one for me!
Seattle vs Toronto is a real rivalry now!! also the 2 championships Houston won was with the whole squad the Earthquakes had in 2003 when they won their last championship.
I'm a Seattle fan, but I'd really like to see you guys make a comeback. I took a combo trip to see the Sounders play you and also see the Space Center. Loved Houston all around, great town.
I’m glad that they didn’t count the first goal for the 2019 game because it was an own goal. I was going to rant if they said the Seattle player scored.
The definition a lot of people use is it's the goal that makes the difference in the scoreline. So in a 3-1, it's the second goal the winning team scored.
@@patrickdeleonn There was no growth in the league after that year. Yeah I get why you should bring a star from Europe. It'll get the younger players motivated to be that type of player. But when you do it time and time and time again. You're just burning through all that cash you could have used for the Youth Development. Now since the teams are so used to spitting cash to any European flop you can get. It starts to become a league full of players far from they're prime having mediocre performances knowing that in the end of the day they'll still get paid that sweet MLS Cash. While the Youngsters can't develop their game since there's no cash being used to strengthen their Youth players and they get no playing time bc the coach rather play some washed out European player since he brings in more ticket sales instead of the Youth player

I love how people don't realize how intense MLS is
Pathetic compared to the prem or even the top 5 leagues
@@akajshhshbob4005 you could call it pathetic, but its intense
@@CrazyDuck27 not really...

I agree, it lacks talent but it's one of the most competitive leagues to watch
Look how much the sport grew. Couldn’t fill a stadium in final in the early days now we’re filling 70,000 stadiums

carella211 Agree, but at least it’s not like the NFL where they actually fix the matches so their pick wins.
tonytocanova at least the nfl has fans
Wow Pow smh the national finance league is a borefest compared to college football atmosphere

This is why I love Football from Europe to the USA they have intense fans and great games and history to show for it
I really just watched my team lose 5 finals in the span of 8 minutes
you hate my team for a fact and you'll never know which team I'm talking about 😂😂😂 (no shade just a joke)
Same here my friend
New England?

Mark my words, one day this will be the most popular sport in the US.

Wouldn’t bet on it
As a Houston Dynamo fan … don’t count on it
LA GALAXY the most MLS' champion team. This is LA since #96.
That fc Dallas own goal still hurts

You got some of the countdown wrong because ruidiaz scored the winning goal this year for seattle
Yes thats true .Ruidiaz goal was spektacular ☺

Then why have no club won the CCL?

In the past 5 years it's been either Portland or Seattle who won the western conference, just shows why the pacific NW is the best.
King Martinez 💪🏼
2 titles in 4 years and I still get mad every time I see Altidore off sides.
Sorry to burst the bubble but the winning goal for Atlanta was Franco Escobar.....not Josefs....
4:28 biggest mistake you can ever make in a final 💀
I’m looking at the commentating back in the day and it sounds amazing. Now a days we have a boring British guy and twellman creating a Snooze fest

Basically al the players from the quakes :(
Have all the games been recorded using a potato?
Was the goalie wearing a hat in the second goal?

OH I love you Seattle!
I was 1 year old when DC last won...

in the 1st goal that Eddie Pope did..was the goalkeeper wearing a raincoat?

2019 goal winning is Ruidiaz...but okay
Ruidiaz had goal #3. Because TFC scored 1 goal, Seattle's second goal is considered the "game winning" goal.
@@deCarabas27 very strange
Le Moineau Irritable it isn’t strange, the game winning goal is the second one.
Would be Orlando City the next champion? Like for Yes , Comment for No.

They didn’t put it in the video because it wasn’t the winning goal lmao
The game winning goal is always the last, so they should have put Ruidíaz's goal instead of Rodríguez's one.
The definition a lot of people use is it's the goal that makes the difference in the scoreline. So in a 3-1, it's the second goal the winning team scored.
No it’s the goal that wins them the match Ruidíaz’s was basically just icing on the cake if ruidiaz didn’t score we still would’ve won 2-1
oskar hall no, Ruidiaz’s goal is the brace and Rodriguez’s goal is the game winner
It hurts to see that MLS started to drop in quality after 2014:/
