What's impressive is that each new clubs add something to the league and push the standards further.
Ironically, the best clubs with the best fanbases are not mainly the "old ones", like Chicago, DC, or even the Galaxy, but the new ones as Atlanta or LAFC.

As someone who has watched the enitre growth of the league. Its been really incredible how far MLS has come. One thing that has helped the popularity of football in America is there is a huge immigrant population here. Whether it be from Central America, South America, or the Carribean. They've certainly added an element to the culture of football here. Most of these ppl are just as passionate about the game of football as anyone. The Worldcup in America should be really good

    • @jamesalandixon

I have never in my life seen an atmosphere for a buildup to a game / the game itself quite like I did at that Sounders game. The march they do to the stadium through Seattle is just freaking awesome. The loudest crowd doesn't necessarily have to do with the level of stakes in the game itself but of the emotional investment of the fans and I think that Portland fans, especially at that time were bonkers for the Timbers. At around the 80th minute I was pissed off because my older brother made fun of me before the match, saying I was bad luck for Galaxy, since I never see them win when I watch them live at the DHSP. I was starting to believe that shit, 😭 since in the previous two matches I have attended the Galaxy drew both times, 1-1 to the Rapids, and 2-2 with the Dynamo, (I mean they didn't lose but winning is better) and now I was even more pissed off because I thought I wasn't even going to see at least Galaxy score one fucken goal. Its not.its not deeply entwined into American culture at all. The rich clubs try their best but culturly wise it is not. Colleges and how usa revolves around colleges is all about us football.

      Its not a competition...
US Americans don't care about some shithole 2nd World South American soccer cup.
In the US they call Football soccer and call it a womens sport.
Be thankful that Football is getting bigger in the US, and that the fans are enjoying it more and more.
Its not a competition about fan crowds.
While you think youre cool because non American Football fans are "better", US Americans think your sport is a pussy sport.
      Be thankful for the MLS.
