We love football here, not yet mainstream but in certain cities is definitely becoming part of our communities. We don't need to be the top league in the world, MLS is young so we are enjoying the ride...

As far as I know, football or soccer as you call it is for women there in the USA, curious because in other countries women are not allowed to play this sport
@@PussianoGaynaldoPiuu Men and women play the sport. MLS is way bigger than the women's league but the Women's National teams gets more attention.
Here in the US, I love football. I love the sport and love to watch it in my country. We're not the best, but we'd love to grow and grow and become a more exciting league.
Change the competition system (only 20 teams, promotion and relegation, 2nd division) and they will rule the world. They really have potential, but their current format is the only thing preventing them from reaching their goal.

@@MeMe-kk1xt Also infrastructure.. For instance, teams that play in the USL Championship are lacking the money and proper facilities as they are definitely not up to MLS standard... Lower divisions and there teams will need to generate more revenue and popularity before relegation is even a thought.

Most noticeable difference that I noticed is that there are way more women part of the football culture and crowd in the states. I think this has to do with the combination of American sport culture in general and the american women's team being the best in the world.
yeah one thing ive noticed in the usa is that women play more football than boys. i think its because boys in the usa are mostly interested in basketball or american football

Women in America tend to attend all our sports here more than women in Europe go to sporting events. But I think Women in the U.S. are especially fond of football (soccer) not only because alot of them play it but because alot of them are responsible for taking their kids to and from soccer matches and practice and they attend their children's games, cheer them on and become a fan of the sport that way. That's where the expression "soccer moms" has become popular here.
2026 World Cup is going to be held in the USA while co-hosting with my country Canada and my mom's country Mexico.

I'm braziliam so i can offer to you videos from Internacional, Gremio, Corinthans, Palmeiras, Fortaleza. Argentina fans are the best to me, check River Plate, Boca Juniors and Racing. In other continents, you should look for "Raja Casablanca" from Morroco. Croatians, egypts and german fans are awesome too.

The reason why soccer is so common and I use it is because here in the US, if I want to search up "football highlights" or something, NFL wi9ll always pop up, and saying football in the US in conversation will get confusd with the more popular NFL football.
