2.0tsi scirocco 2009- I had a bucking under low load /rpm in most gears, turned out to be the timing chain/tensioner, costly repair, but the car drives like new again, no judder, rough idle or jerking
My car is doing the same thing about a year after I spent about $3K dealing with the same problem and oil leak issue. As soon as in get it fixed, in selling it to get the 2022 Honda Civic. I had an Accord before and never had a single major problem. I'm done with German luxury cars and their lack of reliability.
So please tell me you got it fixed and have a solution? Having so many issues with my brand new engine build and it hesitates around 2-3k rpm, everything else is fine.
Solved! Many people post about their problem but don’t post anything when the issue is fixed so if anyone has this issue this is what solved it for me. I had the same exact symptoms on my audi a3 1.9tdi 8p and no fault codes. The issue was finally diagnosed and the problem was with the engine wiring harness. The motor mounts were worn and while accelerating the engine would shake and pull on the wires which would then cut the signal on some wires. Fix: change motor mounts and replace broken wires. You can open the plastic tubing on the wiring harness and give a visual inspection.
I have this issue with my 2012 Audi TTSLine 2.0 TFSI Quattro. It had a ticking idle when hot and now started to jerk under acceleration. Its got 46000 miles and always been serviced on time with Audi Service Centres. I did some research before the jerking started and found that it could be the cam chain tensioner. Is this right? How did you fix the problem?
If u get a powertrain code it's your tcu computer mine had water in it I replaced it with the exact same number all sticker info match & don't drive it doing that too long it will cause damage to transmission & might have to reflash tcu I didn't have to but it slips between 2nd & 3rd gear
I've got the same problem with my Audi a4 avant 2.0 fsi engine it jerks/shakes while stationery to could this be the same problem with the timing chain..? It's been doing my head in trying to find out what's going on
I've got this problem...I have an a4 b7 1.8turbo and it's losing power at 1/2k rpm and doing a srs engine jerk ...when cruising its fine when I stop and accelerate again it starts back . What should I do ..!?
@@thegarage2269 Did that with my car to do the timing. Took the car back and it's doing the same. I wonder if they changed the parts and did the timing or just took the money.
Realistic 1 did you get an answer from the dealer mate? I am honestly at a loss what to do next. Would really appreciate it if you could let me know how you got on
If it's a 2.0tfsi motor, it's a belt not a timing chain. I have the same issue in my 2006 VW GLI. Many posts point it to a faulty crankshaft position sensor (no codes). The camshaft position sensor throws a code. I've been chasing random power loss issues throughout the rpm range. Total loss of power for a few seconds, then back to normal, usually at a cruising speed, not at WOT.
I have an ea888.3 and having the same issue. Is it because the timing is off? And I should check the crank position sensor which could be faulty but doesn't trigger an ecu fault code?
had this happen on 2 different occations with different reasons for it . first time was spark plug on cyl 4 was almost dead . 2nd time air inlet hose to turbo was beeing sucked flat under load

I’ve done all that and the tensioner etc today yet it’s still the same. Missing and bucking and cutting out at 3k 😮!?

Has anyone fixed the problem in the video? And what was the problem?

Did it happen in all gears? Mine does this in 3rd 4th 5th and 6th when at wot at around 3 to 3.5k rpm
I think it happend in all gears, with rpm between 2000-3500 with steady gas
How did you find the broken wires?
Did u solve it?
So how much is this fix?

Cam chain tensioner for sure, just got mine replaced, difference is night and day

That definitely could be the issue, because mine started behaving like that's when I was driving it while it's raining.

Injectors causing a misfire. Mine was doing that, I changed the mounts and it was still doing it. Didnt know it was misfiring but injectors fixed it.

I am pretty sure the Ford dealership in Oregon charged me for spark plug replacement but they didn't change them.
Have you resolved the issue?
Did this happen to you while driving on also while in neutral?
Yes
I got the same problem l. Thanks for this vid

its belt on the front and chain in the back for camshaft transfer,, both have tension guides
