Bite the bullet and upgrade from Sync 2 to Sync 3. It will take your interior to the next level. The price is a little steep (somewhere in the ballpark of $750), but in my opinion the best bang for your buck to make it feel more modern. I did it in my 2013 Lariat and I love it!
Great video man, absolutely love the stocks with the big tires on it, looks amazing. One thing I highly recommend with your king ranch, get some saddle conditioner/oil, really preserves those beautiful seats and turns them to a dark rich brown. Also, the center console leather covers are extremely easy to change on them and are like 60 bucks, if your picky about little cosmetic issues like me lol.
I gotta find a leather cover that actually has the KR logo and then I’ll get it, I also just did my seats with the kr saddle shop stuff last night going to edit and post the video soon
@@nick7.398 yeah the only scary part is. You can still have issues with a newer truck. Main thing is and it looks like your was taken well care of and isn’t wore out. Mine was flawless when I bought it and was taken care of so I didn’t really have any issues.
I just wish ford would have put a bigger cab on these. The back seat leg room isn’t great and I hate that when you fold the rear seat up it isn’t flat on the floor. The 11-14f150 cab would have been a big improvement and I’m glad they used the new cab on the newer trucks. My 15 f150 cab was awesome. I have a 14 f250xl 6.2 now and other than no guts it’s a great bare bones truck.
To be honest the body of the 6.4 and the 6.7 is amazing I know sometime it tasteless but I don't care they look great the alumiduties look.freat as well but these look better love em
Hey brotha, getting into a 16 king ranch and was looking for suspension recommendations I already have all the motor parts and upgrades I want/need but I don’t know where to start, what to upgrade, what brands work best with these trucks. Any help welcome and beautiful rig man
I enjoyed my 2011 F-250 Lariat while I had it. A digital speedometer would've been nice instead of staring at your mpg all the time. And the front end has so much chrome with the big bars in the grill and the giant reflector headlights. Other than that, they're my favorite diesels. I've considered buying another, but these trucks are overvalued and a ripoff for used.
Prolly going to be a good rig that low miles half these guys got 270,000 on them by now. Only thing to look out for other than normal health of engine stuff etc would be 11-12 6.7s like to have turbo issues, nothing to check when buying it just keep in mind it’s common issue
@@nick7.398 yeah the 6.7 is a contender on miles for sure, but still too young to pass the test of time. Obs 7.3 had injector cup and coolant issues compromising longevity that weren’t corrected till the 99.5 7.3. Time will tell. Im hopeful
@@luckyred1818 I mean some 6.7s are 13 years old 🤷🏽♂️ if I could do it over again id stick with 7.3s bc parts are extremely cheap but the 6.7 so nice and comfortable
@nick7.398 don't get me wrong, i have both, but im betting my 99.5 7.3 outlives the 2017 6.7. The price for parts and ease of installation are night and day. As a guy who wrenches for a hobby the 6.7 isnt even fun to work on. It is a smoother, more modern ride though.

Even as a Chevy guy I have to admit this generation of super duty looks really nice.
Love our '19 F-450 Lariat, but that King Ranch interior is fabulous. Enjoy your KR

I had a16 and it was great. Running a 22 Lariat now
@@3374jj awesome I’d love a 22 but only had the funds to buy a 2013 without taking out a loan
Nice. I agree with the looks. I prefer 17-19 best. Then probably the 2001 specifically in its original form.
Tbh a ol 7.3 with 6.0 clip or ranch hand goes even harder but I wanted a “new” truck so I get away from the insane amount of issues

Tbh disagree they are like 5k more than a 6.0 powerstroke which was the worst diesel ever made

Nice truck! Protect that frame from rust and undercoat it since you're in MI!
Thank you, I wish it was that easy but I can’t stand undercoat junk on my undercarriage
The only downside is no cabin filter
Right!! I hate that I don't know what ford was thinking.
Why is that a downside? Just to clean the other air coing in? Dust? I honestly don't know.
Looking at buying same truck with 130k miles should I get it never bought a truck any major issues to look for in a 6.7 with that kind of mileage

2013 on a 3” lift
7.3 still my all time favorite but if there are a bunch around in 25 yrs w 800k or 1m+ miles blocks maybe 6.7 will top the list
