    An aluminum pushrod yields the best result, but it isn't without pain on your middle finger where you lever the pushrod. I.E. Left hand pinky and ring on top of the rod then the rod goes over the middle finger and the pointer finger goes on top to balance it then you chop on the right of the rod with your right hand. When the right length is used it is on both outside edges of the buttons. You should be able to max out the speed on every event. Pro tip put a band aid on your middle finger it cuts down on the pain at least a little.

    • @therexershow

      Can’t wait. And well see, that’s the thing… I’d much rather watch good people sharing the cabs they really love. Not these bozos with 20+ cabinets in their “ar-caves” shilling and giving tours ad-nauseam. No way in hell are they playing them all, and with that many, they’re buying them for others to see rather than just having the ones they love.
      Time Crisis? Fast and Furious? Really? Never heard of them. Maybe because I aged out of arcades by the time they came out. But honestly, just because you’ve “seen” it in an arcade before doesn’t automatically mean it belongs in your home. Not to mention pretending you’ve been waiting so long for that title.

    • @therexershow
      @therexershow  Год назад

      @@Witch_King_of_Angmar oh you didn’t realize they LOVE every single arcade game ever made . AND every single arcade game gives them nostalgia so they love every single one. Or maybe they just have to act like it because they cater to every viewer and realize it’s best for the channel if they act like they love every new release that one company makes. It’s painful to watch.

    My personal technique was to wear a sweater or other long sleeves, cover my fingers and slide back and forth over the buttons. Works for the NES version too. Needless to say, it will ruin your favorite sweater and your mom will get mad.

    • @therexershow
      @therexershow  Год назад

      Definitely that technique works great for the nes. Some people use a pencil with a NES control and go back and forth quickly over the buttons.

    Wow! I knew you’d kill it with the restoration (can you get the molding at a hardware store or do you need to get it custom?). The game play is what blew me away😮 Even your brother will be impressed by the speed on the run! A comb? Seriously never saw that and Rexer gets into the UFO debate to boot. This reminds me of the old days of your channel- great classic game play! I’m impressed and next time I’m on the West Coast no way I’m getting suckered into a challenge of any classic arcade! Im still currently play this game religiously, and im 90 percent sure you do not have to alternate between the run buttons

    • @therexershow
      @therexershow  Месяц назад

      you don't have to, but mashing the buttons at the same time will not give you the most effective speed. This is why the pencil and comb trick work so amazingly. It ensures the left right left right. You can test it by hitting both buttons and the same time with the same, then use the comb and tap the one button at the same speed as you tapped both buttons together , and watch what happens.
