You have too much empty space and the amount of Bitters per Dashes are way too much compared to a fuller bottle. Don't rush the classic cocktails. @@PickleJuice76 no one, in the classic or speakeasy scene holds the bottle by the neck with 3 fingers. Thats instagram and for show. We do it with elegance and threat the $100 bottle like it costed us $1000
But most of the comments are full of shit. If you can't handle bare hands touching a peel that goes into a glass of whisky you should probably move back into the bubble. And if you don't want dilution you should just order a shot. And if you care a great deal about exactly how a drink that has a thousand variations over the last century is made then you should just specify how you want it or make it yourself. Old fashioned = booze + bitters + sugar, everything else is a variable that EVERYBODY alters from fruit to soda to base spirit. Most people with the means to drink outside of the town they were born in have seen a hundred variations.
And once again, the biggest problem is not enough ice for the chill down. FILL that glass and get the liquid as cold as possible as quickly as possible, otherwise you're melting too much ice and getting more water than is necessary into the drink. 😉

Threat them like your mother, with respect and the dram will be amazing! Good luck with the cocktails! 😊
When bartending you hold the bottle by the neck with only three fingers, it’s not a wine you need to be precise with pouring
You forgot to say don't play with people's fruit in your hands then stick your entire finger in the drink while putting the fruit in
And I'll bet she never reads this, but just goes around being petty by hearing all the super negative comments XD
@@PickleJuice76 no one, in the classic or speakeasy scene holds the bottle by the neck with 3 fingers. Thats instagram and for show. We do it with elegance and threat the $100 bottle like it costed us $1000
@@nervouspanic5286 yes, but now it was more the technical stuff I pointed out. No one wants to lick your palms 😂
I’m dead by the time she finishes making my drink, Christ
It's one cube because it melts slower keeping your drink cold longer
Watching this made me so anxious and I had no idea why until I looked at the comments 😂
I don't drink but something felt w r o n g
But most of the comments are full of shit. If you can't handle bare hands touching a peel that goes into a glass of whisky you should probably move back into the bubble. And if you don't want dilution you should just order a shot. And if you care a great deal about exactly how a drink that has a thousand variations over the last century is made then you should just specify how you want it or make it yourself. Old fashioned = booze + bitters + sugar, everything else is a variable that EVERYBODY alters from fruit to soda to base spirit. Most people with the means to drink outside of the town they were born in have seen a hundred variations.
giirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl!!!! I about lost my mind there for a second. XD
This made me crave an Arnold Palmer-
Watery 9ld fashioned? Nah I'm good, BTW how clean are your hands?
Glad I'm not the only one that was grossed out by that lemon going INTO the drink after being squeezed by dirty bar hands.
@@krystihicks8735 it's why I never let anyone put that garish in or on my drinks.
Literally epic
Stocking before shift is helpful, especially in high end bars .
And once again, the biggest problem is not enough ice for the chill down. FILL that glass and get the liquid as cold as possible as quickly as possible, otherwise you're melting too much ice and getting more water than is necessary into the drink. 😉
Incorrect lol, watch your mouth before giving false information. Probably have no clue who I am but the amount of ice was spot on.
@@CrabbinFeverthose small chips will overdilute.
It's ALWAYS one dang ice cube
"thanks" *downs it in one drink* "ill have another"
She look’s so happy to be there
Has that sunken faces addicts get, I wouldn't be surprised if she was one in the past. If not then that's one of the most extreme cases of rbf I've ever seen.
Everyone is so creative!
So....we all going to just ignore the fact she just made that drink open handed and then placed the lemon peel in the drink....for shame
If only you knew how often that really happens..
This happen to me at chillies
My favorite drink!!
Skill issue
She’s definitely the “come see me 🤪🤪” type of bartender
This is a disgusting comment

Yesssss. That’s so fucking true!!!!!!! They do not know this in fucking Florida!!!lol
Love me a old fashioned, shaken not stirred, bond style 😉
Buffalo trace is too sweet for that 😅
You still got a lot to learn sweetheart 😉
Douche??
There's many good ways to make this drink.
Great choice in bourbon
Yes I’d like to have a really watered down old fashion please.
That’s exactly what I was thinking
More ice means less dilution,
@joeybray7 No it doesn't, dumbass. You obviously failed high school thermodynamics. You can literally see the huge amount of volume that crushed ice lost.
It’s still an old fashion I’d send back and order a neat buffalo trace.
When i order an old fashioned around me i get a whole orange slice, no bitters no cherry no sugar, simple syrup. Just an orange wedge and some orange juice. I die a little time.
"Yeah nvm ill take a water"
Maybe refill your bottle of simple after this 😅 other than that, its a very well made old fashioned 🔥
I’m so glad we have expert mixologists in the comments
