The reason why it’s not fun anymore is simple, we aren’t 10 anymore. Our time has come and gone and it’s now meant for the new generation to explore. It hasn’t lost its exploration rather its gain more. New cities, dungeons, lost civilizations etc we used to not know anything about the game and that’s what made it unique, every new recipe you managed to accidentally create made you feel a sense of joy for it and now it’s time for the new generation to feel that joy.
Maybe its just you growing up. Ive played minecraft since 2011 and i wouldn´t be surprised if i had over 10k hours in this game across multible accounts. Ive completed countless singleplayer worlds. Joined many servers even witnessing their shutdowns. Ive seen the player base changing over time and watched server plugins getting more and more advanced. There was a time where you could play on big boy servers Mineplex/Hive with mods on like Parkour mod, which was essentially cheating because you could climb out of map borders lmao without the server detecting it. Even Xray had to be found out manually Of course its not the same anymore. I cant look at this game the same as i used to. My minecraft days are over not because of the updates but because of me and my irl situation changing. now i have responsabilitys. I grew up The new updates by the way (aside from the god aweful combat update) is what everyone wished to have back then. One of the biggest wishes was horses/nether expantion but mojang used to be very, very reserved about updates and really carefull. It took ages for some big changes to happen. Its honestly a miracle we got Villagers as soon as we did
No, not what he’s explaining. I mean, Minecraft is a very old game and there’s almost nothing to do in the game because everyone’s already done it and plus it also is because none of his friends want to play it because of what I just said.
