Loki allowed the multiverse to exist by giving life to the various strands, but he did so knowing that it would lead to the multiversal war that He Who Remains had warned about. Loki decided to follow Sylvie’s logic that they should be given a chance to fight rather than just accepting that they would be doomed in such a war. So the ending of the episode was supposed to set up the conflict between the good guys and the emerging threat of the various Kang variants. It *can* retroactively be used as a way of explaining away what happened with Kang, by saying that the TVA is dealing with him off screen, but that’s not what it was supposed to be. It’s supposed to be the set up for the multiversal war and Kang’s presence in other projects.
Okay and??? It’s good, plus season 1 focused on following Strange around, Season 2 followed Captain Carter, I’m looking forward to s3’s protagonist. Hell it could be Loki, Tony, or Peter Parker I really don’t gaf. The show is enjoyable regardless of who’s the MC of the season, we still get to see banger ass parallel universes

I say this because they were recurring antagonists and had key roles (Prince Killmonger was the secondary antagonist and Zola the final one of the first season*). Although I would have found it fair even if they had remained in the Pocket Dimension and died together with Supreme Strange, after all their innocent victims. *They could be the secondary and final antagonists of the entire series.

I’d like to see a what if about Knull the god of the symbiote. In my opinion Knull is a very under used character and a part understands why he’s underused, Knull is too powerful for the mcu so unless you have a story like king in black in mind Knull is too powerful in mean when he first entered the universe he immediately created a sword and killed a celestial with ease but it would still be interesting.
