Side note: if you're looking for the bbw Everyday Luxuries collection, you'll just have to call the stores in your district to ask. From what I'm hearing, they're realeasing them to a few stores in every district.

I had to come back on and say I totally agree with you about modern vs vintage fragrances. You are right, the vintages do have a "wild" quality whereas modern fragrances have been "cleansed", so to speak. In fact we even have aromachemicals that are labeled as "white" - white musk, white patchouli, white amber, etc.. They have ac's that have certain qualities isolated from the whole that new fragrances are made from, and all the molecular accords..... I have some Dossier's and I very much like a few of them. Most are nice but not my type of fragrance?? The ones I like the most and do wear them are the Floral Marshmallow/Kilian Love, Floral Lavender/YSL Libre, Powdery Orange Flower/Valentino Voce Viva, Floral Rose/LL Rose 31 and Aquatic Vanilla/JHaG Vanilla Vibes.

I noticed Bath and Body Works new fragrance The Brightest Bloom was done by Honorine Blanc, I thought of you, haha! I agree, I really enjoy these more floral, musky offerings from BBW, but I can see a lot of people complaining about them because they're not the typical fruity or gourmand scents most people expect from BBW

Oooh, you picked up some interesting fragrances. I heard that you were right, The Body Shop is going out, sadly. I thought it was interesting what you had to say about the beginnings of TBS btw. One of my favorite Body Time fragrances was China Rain, and I also loved Rain. I don't know anything that really smells like either one, but will keep looking :)
I heard that BBW was delving more into out and out clones, and the word is that some of them are really good?? Something to look for. I'm interested in that Musk and saw another limited edition body spray called If You Musk with notes that make it sound a bit like Glossier You???
My luck has been really hit and miss with Dua's, and yes, they are expensive unless you get in on a sale or something. I had to quit blind buying (I say, haha!) them anymore because I think I don't choose well??? And they have to sit for so long before they are mellowed out. I have one that I really love and can recommend - Dua's Suede (Guerlain Cuir Beluga). But you have me really interested in this patchouli. I loved Purple Patchouli and Patchouli Absolu - if it's even close I know I'd love it. :)

Why would they put strawberry in the apple mist? Seems like they always like to have one note that clashes. Strawberry on it's own is fine but not mixed with apple.
That’s a good question. Maybe they wanted a very fruity apple scent? I think I would like a simple apple scent.
