I agree either way your thoughts re air conditioning. I live in South Central PA, and it’s humid in July but we just use fans. We do live in the woods so we have shade. I like Chapter one and wear it in the summer. I also wear Beach by Bobbi Brown and Terre Cotta by Guerlain oh and also Lancôme O, the one in the green bottle. Nice review.
I never wore sun block as a kid either. lol We only ever wore suntan oil. This summer I’ve been really leaning towards soapy, clean smelling florals. Alfred Sung Pure and Casual by Paul Sebastian have been two I keep wearing over and over.
A/C is life imo lol. Izia by Sisley and Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden are my summer go-tos. For me the heat and humidity is so overwhelming in the summer I’m less interested in putting perfume on many days.
EA Green Tea, forever in the heat! I love to spray Hawaiian Tropic sun oil on my skin too… the old formulation was lovely! Lacoste pour Femme, Giorgio Blue, 4711 original, SJP Lovely, Philosophy Pure Grace are v nice when it’s hot. I’d love to explore orange blossoms that aren’t too heavy and headache inducing!
I adore Tea Rose!! I just did a video with Anne Klein Blazer. You come up with such great attention getting titles!! Yes I can see how Blazer does smell a bit like Halston. Cheers!
I own a bottle of Tea Rose but it's a little challenging for a man to wear. Now Elizabeth Arden Eau Fraiche sounds like my cup of tea. (No pun intended.)😊😊
🌊 ⛷️ Sea and Ski sunscreen spf 4 or 6! If I could get that scent in a bottle that would take me right back to the late 70s! Hawaiian Tropic Oil, and Coppertone too! Currently for some reason JLo Miami Glow is very nostalgic and I’m wearing it a lot right now. 🌴 🥥
We have to have central air because a family member has MS. She couldn't live without it. We also have pets and they suffer terribly in the heat. We're in Massachusetts and it has been as hot as it gets out west this year. Central air is not a luxury here. It is necessary.
I just added like 5 perfumes to my want list because of this video!! 😂😂🎉 Thanks! I already had Tea Rose on there. (Thanks for paying homage to the classic!!). Lol. Blazer, Eau Fraiche ( oMG I'm on the hunt for Green fragrances), and I feel like I'm forgetting something. For some reason, Fragrantica suggested Firecracker by Good Chemistry. I hadn't seen that before, so will be trying that! It reminded me I'd used some of their other ones before. 😁.
I do not want to be hot and steamy in my house which is what it would be given that it supposed to be 112 today and we're having rolling blackouts so..
Also that tea rose fragrance reminds me of ex-boyfriend's mom's house is also his house cause we were teenagers but I loved it so much that I bought myself a bottle and it arrived almost all gone it had leaked out I need to get some more.
They can go bad. If it smells like vinegar, it’s bad. If it smells like nothing, it’s bad. I haven’t had many that have gone bad. I have one Chanel no5 that has definitely changed but it still smells good to me, just aged. I’m usually trying to keep my budget for these to about 3 dollars per bottle so I feel it’s worth the risk. But yes, there is some risk.
The title gave me instant nostalgia!

I almost added Miami glow to the video. It’s great! It reminds me of sunscreen and car wax

It is a 107 here..my pets can barely breath..we need airconditioning here.
Don’t fragrances go bad over time, especially if not stored correctly? Does this concern you when buying pre-owned bottles?

Is it Key West Aloe perfumes?
Maybe?
