During the conversation, Anthony detailed getting involved at 16 despite his father warning him that there was a high probability of him doing jail time. Anthony is down to earth and extremely real. I have spoken, privately for many of these "former" Mobsters and Ruggiano Jr is the real deal. He is very direct, and talks from the heart. He doesn't necessarily wear his heart on his sleeve, but he says it the way it is. When he doesn't know something he doesn't try to act like he knows, he just says he doesn't know. This guy is the real Cosa Nostra.🤨😎

    • @mikimiyazaki
      @mikimiyazaki 2 года назад +4

      Ive said that fuck the code of the streets for a minute. Integrity and character are the foundation from which you can stand when things get hard and you can rely on yourself to choose right. To make decisions willingly and freely knowing the risks. To then decide to save your ass and throw others under the bus what youre doing is bartering your own integrity and character as a grown man for freedom from jail. The worst part is that one also gave away that entire foundation from which they must stand when things get hard. They freely and willingly gave that away and no amount of pretending will fool the key in those hard situations. The key being there own subconscious and conscience. The spirit and heart have been corrupted as there is no rock from which to stand, only quicksand when things get hard.
