As someone with a Bambu Lab A1, I am shocked that changing the nozzle requires you working with dangerlessly hot componants. I can change my nozzle from cold in under a minute while this machine needs to put you at risk of harm.
It's kind of sad because I love the affordability of creality machines, but the fact that we need to buy a drop in replacement from microswiss just to have a cold nozzle changing option seems like a let down. I've burned my finger so many times over the years. Oh and if your tool is too cold, your machine thinks you have thermal runaway 😂
As someone with an A1 you really shouldn’t compare it with a K1 as they are not even remotely comparable machines. I am telling you this as someone who owns multiple A1’s, a K1 max and also an X1C from Bambu. The nozzle swap on an X1C is extremely difficult compared to K1.
THis thing is not worth the money. 1 month (4 prints) and the nozzle is clogged. Burnt my fucking fingers too many times trying to fix something that is never going to fucking work. The extruder is clogged and the thin metal paperclip thing bends when trying to push it through. it is unlocked. and it clicks and will not move when trying to extrude or retract. what a waste of time and money.

A little tip: turn off the machine or set the nozzle temp to zero before trying to peel back the nozzle cover (also not shown here) 🔥
mine is the newer k1, that nozzle sleeve is a bitch to remove
I have the old version and I’d argue it’s just as much as a bitch to remove
It was shown
thank you for the tutorial

fr burnt my finger once doing this
