By “you’ll be teleported to melee island” you mean “you’ll enter an infinite load screen and force you to restart the tall tale” it does exactly that.

Go to your ships tall tales and there should be a checkpoint you can go to that’s what I’ve done
Its bugged at the moment
Yeah I went back into my checkpoints and it put me back on meele island but then when I started the fight with him. I couldn’t move or do anything.
this guide was a massive help for me! the nostalgia is crazy as i used to play monkey island as a kid with my dad, shame the achievement for doin all three is bugged, fingers crossed they fix it soon!

Me and my friend did this earlier and it was bugged. Got every commendation and it didn’t give us our 100% completion rewards.
Sounds like a bug. A few people are getting this exact one
@@ConCon Like me and my friend did every part of it to 100%, yet we didn’t get the full 100% complete thing. Kinda sucks since we’ve both got jobs and today was the one day we had to do it.
definitely seems to be happening to more people than not, including myself.
@@topdoomslayer3913i experienced the same thing but the tall tale just released today about 9 hours ago so it should be fixed in the next few days after they find out whats happening

Thanks for the guide, although i had been searching for more than half an hour for the hanging contraption to cut down , because there was a fallen down tree close that looked exactly like yours with a yellow plant next to it but it was a different one, and because you went through the bushes i couldn't find it for the life of me. If anyone else has this issue, i went a bit too far so if you have the same issue, go back a bit to where the giant stairs on the cliff face is and with your back towards the climbable cliff, go in between south and southwest and you should find the hanging contraption/herman's supply crate fairly close to the water

Great video! Seems it’s only me that gets stuck on loading screen when returning back to melee island to fight chuck. Done it twice now I can’t be bothered trying again it’s a shame

Defeated Le chunk with my girl and after that, instead of us porting to monkey island, we black screened with the steering wheel in bottom right. Loading and loading for the rest of eternity xD

Got past the infinite loading screen... now when I get to the church and finish the cutscene I get stuck in place and cant even close the game. I have every other commendation and need the devs to fix this ASAP. This is literally a living hell.

Quick question. do I have to redo all the monkey island tall tales (even if i have all the commendations) or do I have to wait until rare patches this?

If you've done all the commendations then you just have to wait until they fix it and it will automatically unlock the last one for you

I had to fight lechucks ship by myself and the ai was bugged so guybrush and elaine didnt fire a single shot and so i had to do the whole thing by myself for an hour and it was hell

I just got to @17:15 the location for stokade key. Mine was the other location (where you said is located at the cannon) after searching every cuboard i couldnt find the key, All i found was a Coconut shell. I then went and looked in the pond and found the key under the suspicious rocks, i now believe the red circle is for which side of the pond to look under the rocks (3 on each side).

after the first fight with the ships i get stuck in the cutscene and ive even tried starting anew, still didnt change. is there a known fix?

im on xbox and during the lechuck fight in the church after the cutscene it just freezes me and i'm not able to fight him im able to pull up the radial and i've restarted my game then went back to the checkpoint and i also restarted the whole tale and it still does it. I've had no problems with the other 2 tales is there a fix or is anyone experiencing this?

i completed all of the commendations but game did not give me the legend of monkey island commendation and the song what is the problem? I have completed every single commendation in every single tall tale and i have done every single tall tale twice including lair of lechuck but it still does not give me the monkey island song

what should i do if i lost the head of the navigator in the lava ? .. cause that happend to me and i cant find it anywhere :( do i really have to start over ??
Guybrush normally stands next to it if your drop it. Find him to find the skull
Watch out, while swimming out of the sun tan cave you can actually gltich out of the map.
Happened to me too. I had to swim to my ship and climb the ladder to "reset" myself.
That was annoying. ANother thing Rare missed. At least the waters beneath are shark-free, heh

Just a heads up, make sure you put anything in your hands DOWN before reading Hermans notes or LeChucks log books. They don't seem to always count if you're holding something.
Also, if you make it to LeChucks ship and Guybrush doesn't ask for the head back, jump in the lava to reset him. Grab the head from him again and it should trigger the next scene.
