I think, instead of adding new honour gear that is better than last seasons conquest. They should have make the last season conquest sold for honour, so the new players can just get same gear as people who played last season. It’s a bit annoying to refarm gear after you just got full geared
Ziggs is right, you're a clown dude. It's easy to stash 10k honor and instantly have combatant set. Plus it's the most even playing field when everyone has same stated gear. Beginning of season is the best at time to play
@@justinmccray5014 if wow only copied every gw2 system it would be best game ever... like for the love of god have only one type of gear (not pve and pvp) and make it earnable in all contet (pvp and pve). and for pvp you have placeholder gear and are free to swap up any stat, like go full mast/vers and for next game you wanna swap out some mast for haste just do it. Give us that pvp island where that pvp gear is aplied so we can test out builds. And let me queue for max lvl pvp from 10, just lock me in at 80 for the game, and lock me at 80 on that pvp island to set up my build, let me lvl up char only using pvp like that etc... blizard cant even copy good systems from other games...

Thanks for the guide. I honestly went all the last season with zero crafted gear and no tier set. It's not rocket science but this is very unintuitive, and with only 60 min to play or less a day, I'd rather just popup and queue 1 BG + 1 SF and I'm done for the day.
I would say all of this is good with one change. Wait to use your catalyst and free tier token till after opening your first vault. You will feel real bad if slamming your 2 set only to have one of those peices drop in the vault a few days later.
Yeah especially as a dual wield class, I always go for my main hand first and then let the vault decide if I get an offhand or tier piece or whatever. I tend to use my first 2 weeks of bloody tokens on the belt / wrist / cape combo because that nets me 3 pieces that are 3 ilvls off cap, and then I can get the conq equivalents last and week 3 if I don't have my offhand I can get the bloody token offhand. Much more efficient this way... at the same time though.. it really doesn't matter because the start of the season is the most deflated and potentially mmr soft capped in things like shuffle and tunings a mess etc etc... so by the time all those things start to smooth out we'll already be super geared.

I gived draginflight a chane and lvlt my mage to 70. Igot full 473 blody token pvp gear in 2 days. I realized now how bad and unfun pvp ist :/ Selfheal of DDs are just stupid.. youre skills have 0 input because everyone jumps from 10-100% without casting... the only way to kill ppl is to 1shot them :/ i love the world, dragonriding, professions... the only problem this game has for me is class gameplay (in pvp) Fighting peaple compared to bc/wotlk feels like they have 3 healers in there back. They need to tune it down ore make dampaning in bgs/open-pvp basic idk how to fix it but its just not fun for me :/

@venruki You forgot something new in Season3.. on PTR you can literally buy Trophy of Strife for 3500 honor (@Malicia NPC), you can also buy Honor BoA tokens for 2500 honor (token gives 1500 honor) and send to your main etc.. this means, capping honor on XXX alts, send all honor to your main, buy Trophys and FARM Bloody tokens, u can gear to full with the ilvl 486 world pvp gear (3 ilvls below conq gear)

I believe that nowadays, people who are no longer playing World of Warcraft but want to play a game like WoW's arenas are not opting for retail because the grinding no longer entertains them. They would prefer to play a new game centered around WoW's arenas rather than playing WoW itself. I quit s1 before it was finished. When I came back it was almost the end of s2. My main had 0 conquest points and 0 bloody tokens, and around 13k honor. So if its anything like last season change, honor will not be reset.
Trophy of strife is in season only, not the week before. But you can get a head start on the currency for the rare quality base items. To the people trying to gear from zero pvp gear on new alts in the new patch (not the week before the patch), do the rated solo bg, they scale ilvl up to 3 under honor gear level. You will hate it less than the normal farm. It's true you can buy weapon with strife but you can also upgrade strife gear in the catalyst. Whether you get a strife tier piece or conq tier piece and reverse weapons should depend on what stats you can get on weapon.
i hope they never change the new season's honour gear being better than previous season conquest gear, love it for players who cycle thru wow every few months Edit: kek I’m wrong
@@mohamedmaiza3866 ur completely wrong and thank god blizzard knows, this is absolutely 0 inconvenience to active players with 11k honour banked up and makes the game playable for returning players (which is a signification portion of total players). No negatives for active players other than a few thousand gold on enchants etc and only massive positives for returning players and casuals who can step past last seasons conquest gear and onto a current equal footing before its off to the rat races again. Sweaty players should be happy with this as I guarantee u pvp would be even quieter without this process

as a person that can only play for like 15 min at a time i noticed that quests wasn't just handed out in the towns to do like older content and i had to search for nearby people to share quest other than the sharing and only 15 min to play i guess i had fun

We get a lot of balance changes compared to any other expansion. They probably focus on the new patch in the last 1-2 month. Pvp is hella fun, biggest issue are the bots and cheaters and ofc dps que time, but with solo rbg we have more options in 10.2

On a fresh alt I won 10 rated 2v2 games for the arean skirm world q (it works in rated too), that gave me enough sparks to use the free tokens you get and enough conq for 2 set tier, so basically 4 epic pieces + enough honor to fill in the games in literally 10 arena wins, it's so fast

So if we've got 15k packed away we can get a couple items as soon as we log into 10.2? or maybe the new s3 gear only shows up once the s3 starts? so our goal is to bank up the 15k honor in the first week if we don't already have it? or is the goal to bank 15k before 10.l2 (ie: this week if we don't have it already), and then buy a couple items nov 7th, and then that first week pre-=s3 we can farm a couple more items maybe flesh out the whole set before s3 even starts?

Gearing is so convoluted. Nah that game wouldn't be worth the development cost. The people that love WoW arena are a very small group of people.

1. Do set bonuses not work in PvP?
with new BG are you still gonna have to do arenas to gear up?
Do gear crafters need to learn all new recipes for the new season gear, or do the old recipes work (with new reagents added)?
Blizzard should make a 1v1 rated arena but all gear is the same item level like it was in CMs.

I'm not at all good at PVP, but I do try. Is there anyway for me to get the elite set appearance without the need to hit 1800? At the very best I hit 1200.
Wouldn't pvp season start the following week? So we wouldn't be able to get 1600 on day 1... unless I'm mistaken

Like past seasons, honor in the bank carries into the next season right? So if we've got 15k packed away we can get a couple items as soon as we log into 10.2? or maybe the new s3 gear only shows up once the s3 starts? so our goal is to bank up the 15k honor in the first week if we don't already have it? or is the goal to bank 15k before 10.l2 (ie: this week if we don't have it already), and then buy a couple items nov 7th, and then that first week pre-=s3 we can farm a couple more items maybe flesh out the whole set before s3 even starts?

Re-subbed a few days ago and got my mage as geared as I could and I went into battlegrounds and got pooped on by hunters. Following by my team calling me trash and telling me to uninstall.. So I did. This game is great but man do the people suck. Is this just a horde thing? Should I switch to the alliance?

Conquest gets reset. Your honor will not be reset. If you are capped at 15k you can save that and use it right when the new honor gear drops.

Gearing is so convoluted. I just want to earn currency and spend currency on the piece I want, that's it. no enchants, no gems, no running around all over the place to get whatever the hell thing I need to craft some crap...ugh! would it kill the game if there was only one PvP gear and one currency? am I crazy for wanting to get rid of conquest and gems and enchants and embellishments and all this crap?
no youre completly right bro look at gw2 make a lvl 1 char go pvp get immediatly max level and gear have fun. But all this bullshit farming just to play pvp every season. people just wanna play pvp. this gem bullshit enchant should be only for pve players.
