0:32 I remember playing WoW for the first time in MoP. I finished questing in Vashj'ir and strolled in to Orgrimmar to buy level 85 greens to continue on my journey. I saw a sick looking undead hunter and inspected him and thought he was SUCH a badass because a single piece of his gear had more lines in the tooltip than all of my gear put together. Honestly, I get why they decided to change things to make it less convoluted but I really miss the expertise, hit rating, PvP power and resilience, socket bonuses. It felt so awesome to see max level players with all these items.

If you feel this strongly the other way, I’d suggest you challenge yourself to take a close look at who you’re spending time with and what things you’re participating in. The people who tend to shout “everything is so toxic” seem to often be active participants in that toxicity. My theory is that if you really believe it’s a pervasive issue, then you don’t feel like being positive will make a difference, so you just follow along with the “culture”. Long story short, things are better than they used to be! Believe that and be the change you want to see in the world
