Thank you for the video. Recently purchased a bike i plan on flipping, the clutch plates are sticking but ive never done a clutch rebuild before. Watching this gives me the confidence to do it 😊
This is criminally easy as I expected, lol. Then again I grew up doing this shit on my racing bikes(KX's) but nice to have a double check vid on shit to MAKE SURE its done right. Good vid man.ty
Thats a 2012?? I thought it was like a 1990 by the age of the brake lever and wear, lol. No offense. I have a 2003,2004,!,# a 1993 and my 1993 looks 20 yrs newer than this engine bay, lol. Now thats not a put down, just means you ride alot and that's a good thing. I heard these are basically the same motors as the old ones just redesigned frame and cosmetics.is that true?
@@n.a.n.6930 thx for video. My clutch barley clicks when I shift it now. Cables new!! Probably just order new springs and disk w/friction plates? Hope this works for me. 🤪
So does my editing. But your work doesn’t suck 💯. Thx again. Just found out today that my clutch basket is bad. Might just fix it myself thx to your vid
Maybe his original gasket happened to survive without ripping but, yes, you need to be prepared to replace it when you open the clutch cover. Many clutch kits include it and you should get one if yours does not.
eehhhh no, not unless its a custom engineering build. but hey just take it slow and learn a manual trans its not as intimidating once you get a little ride time. stay safe
Man I just got myself an 08 ninja 250 I need a website for good parts idk where to look trying to find a clutch kit and break router or maybe an abs setup any suggestions?
If you are looking for parts this link should help alot however as far as ABS brakes go you usuasally cant find them for starter bikes such as a n250 beceause it doesnt have enough power to need them although its is a safe precaution. Heres also a forum for the n250 and abs. forums.ninja250.org/posting.php?mode=topicreview&t=81498&tro=1 www.partzilla.com/catalog/kawasaki/motorcycle/2003/ninja-250r-ex250-f17?gclid=Cj0KCQjwhvf6BRCkARIsAGl1GGj4moStn5xMoW_r3VAAKPzrSDYIkvbesSMTQl211VJT_8EtQ9q1H2IaAgkmEALw_wcB
its optional but mostly not necessary as the motor oil keeps the bearing cool enough to stop the internal grease from breaking down. so the bearing (without repacking) usually out last the life of the motor even a few rebuilds.

Thanks from rgv texas
Nice vedio
Thanks 👌
Thanks for all the great advice and video hope to see more work on your bike
Hey I’m replacing mine so that pin in between the 4 bolts does it freely move in and out like very easily? Wondering if maybe that’s my issue
Thanks a lot...i thought it was harder than that to change springs and plates
No problem 👍

But man you sure as hell make it look easy. That kinda like I make pull ups look easy. Lol lol.
Even wit the poor editing I appreciate the vid. I just wish I saw it before I sent my bike to the shop 😂
My editing sucks lol its a learning process

Is this the same for zzr 250
So since the outer cover is like an oil pan, would you have to use a gasket when you put it back together to keep oil from leaking?
surprisingly no? I wondered the same thing at first, but its nothing to worry about. Kawi works in odd ways.
Maybe his original gasket happened to survive without ripping but, yes, you need to be prepared to replace it when you open the clutch cover. Many clutch kits include it and you should get one if yours does not.
Very useful bro thanks
I found out there is difference between 1/5th and 2/3/4th clutch pad. The 1/5th have wider friction pad than the 2/3/4th
Can you put efm Auto clutch on ninja 250?or any auto clutch? Trying to switch from manual to automatic

I've found most of what I need on ebay...
What kind of oil to put back in
10w40
Do you not neet to pack the bearing
its optional but mostly not necessary as the motor oil keeps the bearing cool enough to stop the internal grease from breaking down. so the bearing (without repacking) usually out last the life of the motor even a few rebuilds.
what year is your bike?
2012
What happened to the gasket?? Does it matter? He doesn't mention it??
Hopefully his didn’t tear.
