I was getting the same problem. After some research online I discovered you have to reduce the sonar sensitivity in shallow water and the unit will track bottom a lot better. Don’t use Auto.
idk bout you but i have the problem where it reads the depth way wrong. say im in 15 ft it will say 17 ft and when i move my bait like 6in up it will say i moved it 2 ft up
How does a fish finder work when you end up casting out? I have a Kayak and was thinking on getting a Finder for the ocean but for lakes when you cast out you are pretty much casting way past the finders view?
have you had a chance to use it any more and if so has the issue continued? I have the same one and i have changed every setting you can think of and it does it all the time in 3ft-90ft of water .... If anyone could help lmk ty
kayak fishing Adventures I actually have used it a lot for the past couple months and I haven’t had the same issue again. It’s worked perfectly on auto. In this video though I switched the mode from auto to manual multiple times and it eventually started working..I guess I just had to work the bugs out
Nice video, so it seems like some of the people leaving comments are either done with life or plain aholes. Like maybe they just found out their wife’s cheated on them lol. Good review my dude
I think I missed the review part of the video… darnet!
Foreal. I'm out!
no one came here to see decals, get on with it. ... you didn't even show a fish on the screen.
What do you use it for, weather reports?
Got dem decalls lol that was worth a chuckle

Where did you mount the transducer?
Not a review lol it’s just a fishing video
Where did you mount transducer and what battery and fish finder mount
yea, I've seen people having issues mounting it inside the boat causing vertical lines. Also if you're not moving

No cause they go out a long range to each side not just under neath u
@@Juann_898 do you know how far ahead a device like this sees? Im mostly interested in depth. I dont care much for the fish
Also varies on how you place the transducer

When you het al that stripes on the screen you have to set the dept a bit deeper. That's the problem.
What kind of rig are you recording on? Go pro chest mount?
Looks like a head mount
Thanks for not showing crap don’t make any more videos
Your fish finder needed a service pack from Microsoft.
