I'm so happy to see you on RUclips again. I love these recipes and will be trying them. However, hearing Baby Firefly was the best part of the video. My "baby" just turned 50 but hearing Baby Firefly transports me back in time, hearing my own Baby. Sending love and peaceful thoughts to you and your family.
The Salisbury steak and the chicken schnitzel looked so good. I look so forward to your Monday videos. I'm still praying for Israel. Have a wonderful week!
Hi Chana! The addition of pickle juice to the schnitzel mixture is a first for me, can't wait to give it a try! As always a pleasure to watch and learn....
Hi Chana! I hope you and FF Family are all well. I love these put everything in pan and bake. I did it a few years ago when I had more children at home. It's fast, easy and really yummy. I can't get over how quick you put together the Salsbury steak. Also a great fast recipe. Shnitzel is a hit always! Great with salad . Thanks for sharing! They all looked yummy!
Thank you for another mood-uplifting video and for doing all that you do for your family and peace in the world. I absolutely love the background sounds of happy kids and the sweet language of Baby Firefly!
The chicken with Turmeric Rice is a game changer knowing you don't need to use multiple pots and pans. Always glad to see your videos and love learning new recipes! Sending all my well wishes to you and your family!
Happy Baby Firefly burbles are the absolute best background music ever! I'm praying every day that peace comes to Israel and Gaza, that all the hostages are freed, and that no more lives are lost. I'm new to daily prayer, but this unfolding tragedy has strengthened my resolve.
I love the top you are wearing in today’s video. Your gluten free meals and snacks are a great help. I am not gluten free but have several friends and a relative that are. Thank you
Baby Firefly! Sooo sweet. Glad you're feeling better Chana. The recipes looked delicious. One more thing, You looked absolutely stunning in your intro today. 🙏🕊🇮🇱
All the meals look so yummy. I am going to definitely have to make the schnitzel. I love one pan meals. I have a chicken and rice recipe but I am definitely going to have to make your one day. It is so different from mine. Mine is very basic-but good. So glad you are feeling better. Have a great week and a blessed Shabbat.
I enjoyed the therapeutic moment of tenderizing the chicken. Totally loved the chicken piccata idea. Believe it or not, it's an Italian recipe I wasn't familiar with. Lots of love to you and your family. 😘
These recipes all look delicious! Thank you. I can't wait to try them! What is the reason for putting a wet parchment paper under the tin foil that's placed over the pan chicken?
Well done on keeping one hand wet and one dry when battering! It’s such a great idea in theory but often hand to remember in practice. I appreciate your recipes that include uses for pickle and caper juice; they often are wasted, thanks.
I am amazed at how much you cook and you do it like “ no big deal”. So organized and planned. Yes, I envy your efficiency in the kitchen. But you inspire me to “ get my act “ together in the kitchen
I want to make everyone of these recipes! Thank you for sharing! Am Yisrael Chai! PS: "they chose oatmeal" LOL! I can't say I've ever eaten oatmeal with chicken! Creative!
Chana, I wish you and your family a Blessed Hanukkah season. Baruch atah Adonai Eloheinu Melech ha-olam, shehecheyanu v-ki'y'manu v-higianu la-z'man ha-zeh. Blessed are you, Our God, Ruler of the Universe, for giving us life, for sustaining us, and for enabling us to reach this season. 😊
Woo Hoo! I love this video. Awesome ideas for meals. This is especially true for the steak idea and the chicken idea (number 3 meal). You are totally awesome. Once again, thank you for meal ideas.
Chana, all the recipes looked so delicious. I think the chicken with capers is my favorite because I love capers, but honestly, everything looked so delicious! Keeping your family, friends, and Israel in my prayers!
Love it! Run Hama and Sivans kitchen have been my new favs. I bought yogurt today for her quick doughnut bites. I have been on a soup kick, so it’s been all chopping veggies and making soups. Lots of freezer meals.
I bet a can of cream of chicken soup would be great in dissolved in that hot water along with the spices and date syrup before adding it to the pan so it evenly distributes and wont be so dry. Def trying
I thought that Israelis likes spicy food! But I've noticed that Americans also love and use a lot of spices! I must be unique, I like my food a little bland! My friend's always tell me that I have "Ashkenazi taste" 😄😄😄 Everything looks amazing like always!
I love your videos. They are always so uplifting, largely due to your personality. You’re generally so happy and joyful. I was so grateful to view this video today as I was in a deep downward spiral due to the Middle Eastern situation, and especially, all the visible antisemitism. Honestly, I thought people had grown up. I’m so sorry if you are experiencing discrimination. I’m praying for Israel and all her people. Thank you for this cooking episode. I’m going to try some of your selections…they look delicious.
All those recipes look yummy. A couple of months ago I began making Salisbury steak but using frozen meatballs in the crockpot and it's been a big hit.
Hi Chana, all the meals looked really yummy, my favourite is the schnitzel, never thought of adding sesame seeds to the breadcrumbs though, that would make it super delicious 😋 The turmeric rice & chicken looks super healthy, I am looking to add more turmeric to my diet is supposed to be anti-inflammatory ! 🥰

Hello thank you for all the great recipes they looked so good. Love tha you said that the kids picked oatmeal 😅. Love to hear baby talking and calling for you (sort of). Take care and see you next time.
Husband and I are reading Proverbs a chapter a day and adding 30 minutes of prayer until the end of the year. My prayers are for the Israeli people. I am not Jewish but my birth mother was.
For your meat patties add garlic powder, onion powder or Lawrys Seasoned salt. Brown on the stove then bake in the oven w the gravy till cooked through.
The Salisbury steak is something I might do. My son is allergic to milk and we eat meat so kosher meals are great for us. I did also love how you said Worcestershire sauce.
Chana - we have chicken quite often - pretty much just like you have made. You can also put an "Asian" spin on a schnitzel dinner by adding a sauce of orange juice, brown sugar, gluten free soy and sesame. Another tip is to do your hamburger steaks in the crockpot - I brown the patties slightly, then add a can of gf cream of chicken soup, water and some Kitchen Bouquet (mostly for coloring) on top of a bed of sliced mushrooms and onions. Let it cook 3 hours on medium or 6 hours on low and they will be as good as any restaurant quality salisbury steak.
Oh I am so glad I am not the only one. I always start out with.. remember right hand wet, left hand dry and I end up with BOTH hands looking like whatever I’m breading! 🤣
