My video is on here (2:40) with the Chestnut mare, She slammed on the breaks after the jump and i just flingged off,🤣 but even after that i had to tell her it was okay and comfort her! horses aren't machines at the end of the day 🥰
@@miabates8918 That's really good. I think a lot of riders just want to make sure the horse knows that nothing's wrong after a fall (also, I totally agree with you! Horses are not machines, they're living, breathing creatures with proper emotions)
I grew up riding but, at 71, i havent ridden in 15 yrs - mainly because I know i will fall off at some point - and watching these videos is a good reminder that its a long way down so better to just have memories. sigh
I couldn’t except that I’d rather die doing something I love than to not do it at all, I have ridden since I was younger (I’m still pretty young) I’m doing as much as I can in case I won’t be able to someday I’m not afraid to fall or get thrown or reared on or hurt although some injuries can be terrifying the thing I’m most scared of is living a life without horses.
My biggest fear is when I’m at cross country or the beach, if I fall off, since there’s no fencing I feel like my horse is just going to gallop off and we won’t find him
@@graceaiofe LMAO! not that I own a horse but some o them have galloped off with me and everytime I've fallen of they stop then munch on some grass. There was once that after I fell off, the horse immediately stopped so he was like 3 meters away from me just eating grass as if nothing ever happened.
1:49 this was completely the riders fault. Everything would have been fine if she had just softened her hand, but she was keeping her balance by holding on the reins. Your balance should be in your seat, not by you holding on.
Great job at 2:50 always calm your horse wen he/she goes crazy, because horses never do anything wrong because they want you to fell off it’s always because they’re scared or if they’re have pain and that’s the fault of people not of horses ❤
My stallion went into the hey room and ate a full net of hay i was on him i think it was to hard for him to get the hay so he threw me over his head he’s a palomino tipe and called Vanilla it was a NIGHTMARE!LOL
Rider 6 did an excellent emergency dismount. Intentional or not that is how it's done kids to avoid serious injury to your horse or self. But please grab mane not rein. Or both just never only reins.
Когда такая большая животина начинает под тобой козлить - это страшно. Браво тем всадникам, что успевали сами спрыгнуть и остаться на ногах, а поле этого ещё и шли успокаивать свою лошадку.
I once fell from an Arabian horse, but I never said it’s the horse’ fault, even I hurt my head and lost memory. And everything is just ok after that, you never need to put the responsibility on them, they’re just cute animals, they also have good hearts.

I hate how when horses spook people jam there reins into there mouth I know sometimes it’s just the shock and you instantly do it but the poor horse is stressed enough to do it the last thing it wants is it’s mouth been tour to pieces
With the jumps/obstacles one of the horses I ride (not mine) she would just barrel through them. She tried to do it with a big pile of sand that was almost as tall as her 😂😅
I like the poeple that let go of the reins. Because when you don't Ur basically ripping their face off. But it is hard because it's our instict So it's fine to do it but not alp the time.

I completely agree, she fell and went to see if the horse was ok
2:14 best comeback!!! Genuinely didn’t think he would stay on the first time I saw this.
And got his feet back in the stirrups before the next jump!

Some of those people need to learn to let go when they fall. It could hurt the horse badly, and them aswell.
The one where she only had on knee on the saddle, I have done that before it is so scary but I keeled on and held tight
