What I have learned: 1. Humans are basically rag dolls 2. Horses can be jerks sometimes 3. Horses sometimes forget how to horse about a step before a jump and completely draw a blank as to what they were doing 4. There are 2 types of trainers and we all know what they are 5. There is..also.. 2 types of parents 6. Lastly, nonetheless, riding is the best and I need to go see my horse now
1:20 amazing that the instructor asks who’s fault it is. Like really! People may think it’s harsh, but no, you made the mistake, so you need to learn what to do better the next time, and not blame ur horse!♥️ we need more like these
Polite reminder!! Pleeeaassseee let go of your reins when you fall, especially if you're in an enclosed space. On a hack it's a bit different, but it is so much safer for you and your horse 🐴🥰
@@samw67829 that's okay, I do the same sometimes. Each situation is different and every person reacts differently. Plus we are all always learning, so 🤷 don't worry about it 💗
Currently I'm going through a mental stage were I'm too scared to even rise trot on a horse. (I have never fallen off) I want to build the confidence back because I've had horses ride off with me on and I'm scared I will fall. Seeing you keep getting back on is really helping me at this stage
Just don't ride horses like some of these...there's a lot of bucking going on. Ok to have the horse stop at a jump but half of these horses look like they get too much hot feed.
This happened to me a few months ago, it took ages of flatwork lessons, and i slowly built back up from panicking at my horse tripping to laughing after a scary bolt! It’s hard but It’ll get better I promise ❤😂
Just wanted to say how much my 10 year old daughter loves your channel. I do as well! We drove over a bridge yesterday and I asked what Mollie used to say to Mr. D- she quotes you perfectly! Lol. Keep up the great channel and I hope you are doing well.👍🏻🐴💗

Yay! Another fantastic video! I sadly am having to go back to the start with slower riding lessons as I am relocating to Leeds meaning I have to start again with a new centre. Been wearing my riding boots still however form filling more than riding lol. Great video as usual and I can see where to pick up to shine this weekend and next Monday 😀 🐾 🐎 🐴 🇬🇧

Yeah, how tight your squeezing and also a few kicks just to give the horse some impulsion. Especially when they have refused, cause if they have more impulsion it's easier for them to go over and harder for them to stop. But if they don't it's easier to stop than to go over. Hope that helps ☺️
@@kayceadair Hi. That's fine. I don't really practise one discipline. I do some flatwork, not sure you can call it dressage 😃, some show jumping, a little cross country and hacking! Also, I prefer English if that's what you meant 🥰 In fact, I have never tried western 😃
I'm still an intermediate rider and there's a horse at the arena that stops too quickly when you pull the reigns so I always end up falling off in the canter. Eventually i started getting too scared to ride that horse and kept requesting a different one. My coach told me not to get too scared of the falls and told me he's going to let me ride a racehorse, he said the only way I'll break the fear wall I've built is if I ride fast gallop on that particular racehorse. So i gave it a try and honestly i was so scared during the gallop and kept convincing myself i was going to fall, and I did. 😂 but the horse was amazing and the moment he felt i was going to fall he slowed down and let me grab his neck. But after that fall I honestly broke the wall of fear and today I rode him again without falling off. Honestly the best feeling ever ❤️
