I really like putting a little bit of gochujang and a tiny flock of butter in it, it makes it very rich and creamy, not too spicy but a little more flavor and sweetness, depending on the soup base flavoring i adjust other ingredients I add :)
Personally I don't even cook, but I love your videos. Your personality and the atmosphere are so relaxing and comforting. I watch from bed before sleep often times😅 And I'm watching you from about 6 years, just rarely comment! 😊
Shin Ramen Black bone broth Ramen is my go-to. I sometimes put Kraft Cheese slices in it to the broth to cut down the spiciness. As the cheese melts, it makes the broth really creamy and delicious.😋
You want to try something absolutely mind blowing? Get 2 packs of Shin Black, put aside 1 seasoning pack. Then take a thin new york strip steak and cut it into thin strips. Fry the steak in a non-stick skillet with a couple tablespoons of oil, some diced cabbage, carrots and green onion until the vegetable soften. Add the 2 flake packs and 1 seasoning pack into the mix, then splash with about a tablespoon each of soy sauce and the boiling ramen water, then a small drizzle of sesame oil. Stir fry for another minute. Then drain and add the boiled noodles and stir fry until the noodles get slightly crispy. Plate and add a drizzle of Kewpie mayo on top, more diced green onion and furikake seasoning. Makes 2 servings, but if I'm feeling like a hog I'll eat the whole thing. It's just so good.
Love your channel. I've been obsessed with all the Ramen hacks. Borderline high blood pressure and told to avoid salt. I throw the seasoning packet out and make it my own. Kewpie mayo, egg, cheese, chili oil......Also use the plain noodles in stir fries. I'm all ears. BTW, peanut butter and sriracha go very well together. For those that like it as a soup. Add some frozen peas while boiling. Whisk an egg or two in like egg drop soup.
i have been watching you for years and years, love your videos. i do struggle with misophonia and your masticating noises are difficult for me, but i know plenty of people LOVE hearing you eat. I love my garlic chicken ramen with an egg, kewpie mayo, sriracha, spring onions and a slice of american cheese! SO MUCH SALT, but its an occasional special treat!
I recently discovered that cabbage is great with ramen. I cook some carrots, onions and celery in a pot, then add some diced cabbage (that I keep in my freezer), add peices of leftover chicken, add the noodles and flavor packet and let it cook. It's filling, comforting, and very good for you because of the vegetables.
Favorite ramen hack: 1/2 or less water, so when it cools, it's closer to stew than soup Melt some butter, or put some sesame oil, or olive oil (to "taste" in the boiling water, along with the seasonings). When boiling, stir noodles, as often as needed. May need a bit more "fat", once you raste iy.
I really love the variation I found from chef Roy Choi, of L.A. Son. He cooks it for two minutes and then adds the flavor pack, and cooks it for 3 minutes more. Then he stirs in 1/2 tbsp butter (I use 1 tbsp peanut butter), turns off the heat, and then poaches an egg in the broth, gently pulling the noodles over the egg, for 3 to 5 minutes. He tops it with a slice of American cheese, sesame seeds and chopped green onion (green parts only). I use the whole green onion and add a some soy sauce and a hit of sriracha sauce. Yummy!
I tried the Dosirac giant ramen with my parents and we each took a puck out and cooked it how you would a normal ramen & we just put the seasoning to taste. It lasted us a few days, but it was so good! lol. Cause knowing us, we would not have finished it all had we cooked it in the actual container, but it was definitely an experience!
I make the same type of egg slurry for my ramen, but I always stir some boiling water into the mixture before adding it to the noodles. I think it makes a smoother, creamier sauce
My favorite way to church up my ramen 🍜 Vinegar 🍶 Red pepper flakes 🌶️ Worcestershire or soy 🟤 Sage 🌿 Black pepper 🖤 Hot sauce ♥️ Minced onion 🧅 Ginger 🟡 Egg 🥚 Bagged coleslaw mix 🥕🥬🟣 Or canned mixed veg🌽🥔🥕 A stove spoon rest makes the perfect drip vessel 🥢 🥄
I lived in Korea for 8 years and never saw Mayo used, but I was not a Mukbang fan. The hack everyone used was American cheese on top and kimchi. I always chopped some spam into strips that would fit chopsticks and fried it crisp. I would add an egg last to poach in the soup and top with a Kraft single and some kimchi. Jin ramen (mild) is good if you do something fancy with Korean ramen, food flavor, and not very spicy. My favorite thing was Buddae jjigae or Army Base stew. They were sold in frozen packs you could take home or if your area had one there were "Restaurants" that made fresh take and make versions for a family. There are a lot of Korean restaurants opening up here where I live in Dalat, Vietnam but they only sell BBQ mostly and some places offer street food snacks like rice cakes. I am waiting for one to do kimchi stews. I miss the buddae Jjigae.
Open wide! ✨✨ I like to add some coconut aminos, chopped garlic and onion powder in the water when I’m waiting for it to boil. Then I cook the noodles for 1/4 of the time, then I crack in 2-3 eggs and poach them in the liquid for the remainder of the time.
You know, the topping combo you put might actually pair up quite well with some warm spices like juniper berries & a little bit of cloves (not to be confused with garlic cloves, & think how many different seafood seasonings & seafood spice mixes use it). Juniper berries also do make for great kimchi additions in all the different kinds, especially since those happen to have natural yeast starters
Awesome!! Been watching others cook this XL ramen - planning on buying some an keep in the truck for snow ❄️ days in the mountains or after snow boarding
I take the local cheap brand or if I'm lucky shin ramen, add butter, everything but the bagel seasoning, green onion and beat an egg sometimes, sometimes a bit of black vinegar!
Others have said but I'll echo. Add some butter and the seasoning packet to the water and cook the noodles in it. The butter adds so much with just one extra ingredient.
I have been passing by this XL mukbang ramen at our local H mart and have been wondering if I should try, im glad I can watch you try it! Im too scared I wont be able to finish it LOL
So, I have lots of allergies, and can’t use the spice packets. I use plain noodles, I add bovril beef base, regular soy sauce, Indonesian soy sauce, whatever veggies I have on hand and an egg. Some slices of sausage (even hot dog) are nice, too. I’ve never added mayo though- I will have to try that!
I always cook instant noodles in a pot now. It's so I can throw in all the veggies, eggs, and beancurd I want to make it a complete meal. TBH, throwing things into the pot of boiling water before adding in the instant noodles is how I learned to cook.
Samyang Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen Buldak 3X Spicy Instant Noodles i started to see this one out there. Did you ever try this one or was it just the ×2 you tried?
They're totally different plants. Chives are actually perennial, and you only cut the tops. Green onions get pulled, washed, and you use the whole plant, tops as green onions, bottoms as just sliced Spring onions.
Please make the viral fresh cranberries soaked in orange juice & Prosecco then rolled in powder then dried in the oven. Pleeeeeeeease. Christmas edition.
Mukbang? Distinguished people, I ask you: who among us has not drunkenly made 4 ramen packs in the middle of the night while camping the spawn for a Flowing Black Silk Sash? ... just me? Oh ok.
How do y'all clean your grater/zesters? Mine shreds everything I try to clean it with lol. Ginger is the worst for me, all the little fibers get caught and water won't spray it out.
The noodle XL package wasn’t that big. 😆😆 I use two packets of noodles to fill me up. I can definitely finish the XL noodles on my own, and I’m not the type who likes to share. lol 😝 If that was sold where I live, I’d definitely buy it. I like making my ramen noodles with tomato sauce, Greek cheese sprinkled on top with a bit of salt and pepper. I call it red sauce ramen. I also make what I call white sauce ramen. I use a bit of butter, salt, pepper and little bit of sour cream to make the noodles creamy. If I want something quick, I make ramen with a bit of butter, salt and pepper. Done! Sometimes i like to experiment with ramen and I end up with ingredients that work well together. 🙂 I NEVER use the flavor packets that come with the pack of noodles. WAY too much sodium. It spikes up high blood pressure.
I love how we become really familiar with content creators. No Emmy video would be complete without at least 4 or 5 "Mmmhhhmmmm" after she takes a bite. That's how I know it's going to be good and worth trying. Except maybe the Geoduck. I'm not that brave.

Like to add some Marinara sauce and a couple meat balls to the "tomato pasta" flavor of Buldak Noodles
Adding a slice of american cheese
Chicken flavor ramen + a spoonful of peanut butter + sesame seeds = maximum yums
I like to use my Keurig coffee maker to heat the water (10 oz setting) for noodle cups. No need to microwave.
I love seeing people make these XL servings of ramen while they're camping with friends! They grill meat and eat ramen and it looks yummy!
That sounds FANTASTIC!

the best christmas movie!
I love that scene. "A crummy commercial?"😂
came here to post this
TOTALLY!!!
Get out of my brain!
I love adding an egg or 2 to my ramen, but I never thought to mix the eggs with the base! Brilliant!
The egg and mayo in the sauce itself seems like a genius idea to add some sustenance to the meal, I have to try it!

I used to watch her when I was in middle school, I’m 25 now. Girlie just doesn’t age ✨🩷
I like to add fresh grape tomatoes to my ramen before adding the boiling water so they soften and cook into the noodles. Heaven!
I don't mind Emmy doing more mukbangs even for regular portion ramen because I love the way she describes food 😊

Emmy, ever since I started watching your ramen videos, I only eat ramen with kewpie mayo and egg now! It’s delicious!!
I didn't know we were supposed to mix eggs that way when having them with noodles. Mayonnaise must be great with it as well! Thanks for the tips!

Yum!
I find micro planes all the time at thrift stores for 50 cents!

I don’t do egg, cause I just don’t do raw egg…don’t come at me and tell me the noodles cook them, my brain doesn’t buy that 😅
I need my egg more done, so I add it near the end, then pop it back in the microwave for 30 seconds. Perfectly cooked egg.
Apparently those microplanes are made in Arkansas. We’ve been using them for decades.
