Well above the average English barber who cuts your hair and that's about it. The one Mark had looked awesome and the back massage was a real bonus.
Woow, this is the second video I watched and guess what, I'm a barber......not in Turkish but in the city of mariachi was born. Good haircut do........💈💈
A decent cut of hair in the barber shop will cost you 1 usd in the 🇵🇭

Not in istanbul
It is so refreshing to go to a turkish barber, I love to do one everytime I go to istanbul because it is so diffrent from others.
Greetings from Germany
Every turkish barber shop is the same even in abroad. They all do the same service because it's a tradition.
The haircut is amazing!!! What service! He even got his hair dried! I’m impressed!
Hi, yes this all is normal in Turkey in any barbershop (except back massage).
NO one Will go to his Shop if he wont dry the hair also same for women too,,,
@@zeyyl8311 what are you talking about?
Sorry but thats absolutely non sense. In Türkiye we got barber shops, and they are usually mastered for male stuff, but also shops for women, called coiffeurs. But if you entered a barber shop as a woman they never say no. The reason for the difference has nothing about gender issues but about focusing on professionalism. In fact it is same in Italy for example. Better to know enough to have an idea for something

Yes, it is normal to get a massage in turkish barbers. You might also get a face mask too. I really miss my barber back in Turkey
@Brknn aa 😂
😁😁
@Brknn aa Sen kendi berberini sorgula kardeşim.
Definitely looks like better treatment than I get here in Canada.
Marc said the same thing! Whereabouts in Canada are you?

Wow, what a great haircut. Can't believe how long your hair was. So many extra little surprises in this shop. I want to go there....now.
the hairdresser did a good job and besides, greetings from Poland, I hope you will come to this wonderful country again
The real experience is actually getting your beard shaved, absolutely a must!!!

@Eileen Aldis where's my heart. Did you Forget?
Türkiyedeki berberler böyle içten ve samimidir 😊 Genelde berberler ile aileden biriymiş gibi bir bağ kurulur😊 Her zaman bekleriz ❤
Barbers in Turkey are good at their jobs. I know many Turkish vloggers who live abroad postpone their haircuts until their next visit to Turkey. I don't really know what is the case on other countries but Turkish barbers are quite the thing :)
This is my Barbershop lol
Hi! Are you serious?! What are the chances that you're the first comment and it's YOUR barbershop?? That's so cool. Well we clearly love your barbershop haha

Hi guys 🙂 Looked good Marc! I retired early, but did want to add that at the shop of 28 employees I last worked for 30 yrs, some not all, but including myself, always rinse out short haircuts, hand massage shoulder upper back neck area, and everyone who wanted recieved Italian espresso or their preference of...cappuccino, lattes, americano. Or their choice of teas or water.
Ever near me, come get pampered! 🥰
Looking gooooooood brotherrr!! Everythings perfectly normal!

45 lira is actually little bit on the expensive side. It is normally 25-30 lira but the shop was in Moda. The cooler the place is, the higher the prices are.
No, 45 TL is normal
Yeah probably. As I said, it depends on the neighbourhood.
Dolar olmuş 8. 40 onlar için çok fark etmiyor bizim 10 lira farkımız...

YOU WERE EATING BÖREK IN THE LAST VIDEO AND MY MOM WATCHED IT AND MADE IT IN THE EVENING, THANK YOU FOR IT 😙LOL😙
I really like the fact that it's playing careless whispers in a random Turkish Barber
What fun watching Marc's reactions as the barber proceeds with one surprise after another. I never knew a haircut could be so elaborate! Fantastic fun and video of course.
I live in NYC and I felt really homesick now, not just this barber video but all other videos. well, it's pretty common in Turkiye to get those services. I could die for a head massage after haircut. We never change our barber unless he closes his business, mine is my barber for 35 years who back in Turkiye. I have also a Turkish barber in NYC but he can't offer the same service here even he wishes. Thanks for your lovely videos!
Hello, I discovered you from the previous video. First of all, shake the ‘ayran’ before drinking, it will taste better. In terms of food; I also recommend kokoreç, kebab, künefe, wrap, lahmacun and Turkish ice cream. Have a good trip, I'm glad you came to our country. 💙
Looking good, Marco!! He did a great job, mate!! C’est super!! 👏🏽
I always get my haircut in 🇹🇷 love it!!!
Mark looks like a baby with the new haircut! The barber took such pride in his work...wonderful to see.
Hi Bernadette! Yes, you could tell he was dedicated to his craft and loved his job :)
Hi Aldis,
I just watch your videos and i love it!
Welcome to Turkey and I hope you've enjoyed your vacation.
Cheers.
80's music excited me so much.
Videoları izledim, kimse kazıklamamış adamları, fiyatlar gayet makul. medeniyet yolunda ilerliyoruz gibi geldi çok mutlu oldum.
Thanks for your visiting 🤗
I had so much fun in this video. There are so many good and talented barbers in Turkey but honestly, i saw back massage for the first time so someone who watched this video shouldn’t hope back massage every barber shop in Turkey :D thanks for content btw. I hope you can come again our country.
That is super cool for them to offer tea with a haircut to their customers. Also, definitely a little jealous for the thick hair you have, as mine is very much opposite, it's rather thin unfortunately thanks to family genes. THe barber reminds me a little bit of the barbers in Iraq in one spot, who were very polite and with good senses of humor.
I loved your new haircut 💫
WOW EILEEN ITS AMAZING.

Yes, service is also important with the majority of Turkish barbers. And Turkish barbers are also very very good at cutting hair.
It was a great experience ☺️
Yes,Massage is very normal in Turkey,it is %50 you saw, if he let beard shaving,he can do steam bath to face, cleaning face and mask.i loveeeeeee it 😊😊😊

Guys, I'm glad that you love Istanbul. As I see you love Turkish food and Turkish breakfast for sure. I highly recommend you to visit Divan Brassiere in Bebek for breakfast. If you call a day in advance you can even reserve a table next to the water and enjoy your breakfast with the most beautiful view while you are having one of the best and modernized Turkish style breakfast in Istanbul. Also, for baklava you can try Karakoy Gulluoglu. Try to visit there early in the morning at around 10-11am, because later afternoon it becomes super busy and crowded. Their baklava is really really good. Enjoy your trip.
Hello! Oh my goodness, your recommendations make me feel so excited - thank you! Turkish breakfast with a water view sounds like basically the best thing ever haha. And baklava is always a good idea! I really appreciate you letting us know this ❤️

Hello. I am Turkish. You are so sweet. I am very happy to love our country :))
Hi from Turkey🇹🇷😚 I love your channel
You guys should live in Turkey your having a blast.
thank you for introducing Turkey, I am 62 years old, I have come to mind that the ereli Sheet Metal Cutting Service is always so long that the person can be outside until the hitch, if the cut sheet clay enters the body, it is difficult to find a hand, it is woven, etc., I watched your bath videonuxuda with plenty of soap after the bag is made in the message while washing everywhere they are free of charge I was stuck in the sheet cut in amarikada still hasn't changed
It is really fun to watch you guys, lots of love from Istanbul 💜
Yes all barbers are super talented in turkey. Both for women and men.
I’ll have to try myself next time ;)
Hairdressers and barbers are the best in Turkey. I live in USA I am Turkish American, I go to Turkey every year in summers and first thing I do is go to hairdresser, they are thebest hairdressers you can find in the world, they are even better than high fashion hairdressers that cut models and actresses hairs.
They're well known! I can see why you go first thing when you arrive. Nice ritual.
Super cute! Theres sooo much more you have to see in Istanbul 🥰 such an incredible place 🙌🏻 love your channel ❤️
I'm too bald to need my hair cut by a professional, I just buzz it short myself, but I do like a shave from a barber.
Turkish barbers are legendary, really great. Almost all I've been to will thread your eyebrows, singe off ear and nose hair with a flame, and give you an arm, hand and shoulder massage for good measure. The electric massager in this video is a bit unusual, that's usually done by hand and will typically include having your knuckles cracked, which is very satisfying!
Knuckles cracked? Yikes! haha Marc wishes he'd gotten his beard done but, alas, he'll have to wait until next time :)
@@EileenAldis If he's really keen to get his ears flamed and his knuckles cracked(!), many Turkish barbers in other countries offer exactly the same service. Like, I go to a place here in London that's as flamboyant as any I went to in Turkey. Perhaps there are authentic Turkish barbers in Canada too?
Yes, they are very skilled. If it’s close to our flight date to Turkey we never get haircuts always wait to go back to Turkey.
Nice Istanbul nice People 👏👍
He ain’t seen the whole package: removing excess hair from nose and ear, head and neck massage and even some more.. Turkish barbers are super heroes..
Turkish babers are best of best ❤
In Turkey, barbers always give men back massages :) You and Marc are very good people, always stay healthy and happy. I'll pray for you :)
Wow what a hair cut, hehe and Marc looks like a new man 😛

Turkish barbers, hair dressers(woman) and foods are something amazing that you never see in any other countries..I really mean it..
In Turkey used to be barbers would do back and head massage. Now he does very rare barbers. Marc you are so handsome. Greetings...

Turkish women barbers are also very good at their jobs. They are popular in many countries such as Europe, Russia, Central Asian Turkish countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan).

Massage is common and old tradition but massage machine is new. Turkish barbers are the best i should say. (Experience)
Great video guys, excited for next one
Hey! Awesome - working on the next one :)
This looked like a wonderful experience! It reminds me of the "cream bath" I had in Indonesia. Ladies put on a towel robe so shoulders can be exposed and after having your hair washed (with massage), they use a rich and creamy conditioner in your hair and do the most delicious scalp, neck and shoulder massage- for 20-30 minutes. It's glorious! My in-laws had them in Malaysia also. I think these countries embrace the mind/body experience.
Marc happy today 😁 hair so cute i love it
India's barbers are also famous. If one day your way passes through India, be sure to go to a barber. Thank you for promoting our country very well. There is more all Anatolia to see. We hope you, come again.

Massage in barber shop is not much common in Turkey but nowadays some of the barbers started to do it! As a Turkish, it is new for me as well 😅
Head and neck massage, face mask is a common treatment in Turkey at male barber shops, not a new thing. 😉
It made Marc very happy, as you can see! :)
Ahahaha I'm suprised 😯 Offering tea is ok, washing hair is ok, massaging neck and shoulders ok but I have never seen this massage with a device before. Haha you are lucky 😁😁
