You should really find a place and try real Turkish breakfast .I didnt see any kaymak , menemen and more kinds of jams , different kinds of cheeses and more stuff :) Hope you enjoyed your time here , wish you guys the best

I love when food is laid out like that. hahah yes that coffee was strong but I loved it and also how they serve it with the cute water (reminded me a bit of Vienna coffee service) and Turkish delight. Hello! This was our first time in Istanbul and it blew our minds. It's a fascinating place...full of good food, as you can see :) This is such a great way to start the day.
As with many cultures, Sunday breakfast turns into a brunch due to late wakers. Today at the black sea region of Turkey we had a whopper of breakfast with 32 varieties on our table. That really took us by surprise and we did try every delicacy brought before us. Turks love family gatherings and big and filled tables. So lucky to be married to a girl from the black sea region. Thanks for the breakfast tour, great job guys.

Jam and cheese, olive and honey, butter and nutella. All of them are best buddies. :) And for real Turkish breakfast, you must eat 14-15 different things, with tea.
I must say, this is a mini little tiny version of Turkish breakfast 😀some restaurants and cafes serve "serpme" breakfast, which has a lot of different types of cheese, olive, marmalade etc with Turkish style omlettes like "menemen" or "muhlama"... it's a huge meal 😍
I can't say for all jams, but eating cherry jam and curd cheese together is incredibly beautiful. In addition, if you can find it, instead of curd cheese, "çökelek cheese" is much better.
Pls come to India . You will get the opportunity to see how street food should looks like ... Once you come here ... You'll Amaze by not only just food but also by our culture and diversity... there is a place in San Francisco, Ca that makes lots of different kinds of grilled cheese sandwiches and they use different kinds of jellies and jams. the salt from the cheese compliments the sweet of the jam
This was a bakery so they had a bakery style breakfast, still good but not in same scale of only breakfast restaurants at all which serve Turkish breakfast all day long!! You should definitely try one of those restaurants next time, believe me you won't regret it :))
traditional breakfast is cheese( there are a variety of , eggs, olives, butter, kaymak, recel, bread and tea, also some greens like rocket kuzukulak with tomatoes and cucumber.

This breakfast is only a small part of Turkish Breakfast. You should have tried Menemen (eggs cooked with finely chopped tomatoes, garlic, green peppers), Turkish Sousage (we called sucuk) and Turkish bacon (called pastırma). In our culture my ancestors always said "Do your breakfast well, don't eat too much at lunch and eat your dinner light". in case, if you want to eat more delicious and spicy food, or Real Baklava, you should visit Gaziantep or Şanlıurfa. Especially in Gaziantep, you will eat the best baklava in the world ( Next time try baklava with handmade Ayran). In Şanlıurfa you have to taste Büryan, i think you will love it. You should visit both cities at tge same time, they are neighbours (150 km distance between them). Note: Last thing i have to say that eat your breakfast with black tea. You should drink your Turkish coffe after the breakfast. Kahvaltı is a compound word of two words. Kahve + Altı = Kahvaltı. Kahve is Coffee, altı means prior, so kahvaltı means prior to coffee :D Thanks and stay safe :)

A little advice: Don't add sugar to Turkish coffee afterwards because when you stir it, the sunken coffee grounds mix and make it taste bad. Sugar needs to be added while the coffee is brewed. Tell the waiters the amount of sugar you want when ordering. Otherwise, they would serve your coffee with no sugar and it is very strong already. (Az şekerli = a little sugar, orta şekerli = medium sugar, çok şekerli =much sugar, sade=no sugar) Orta şekerli is the best!
My breakfast is always same. Take a bread, wipe on little olive paste, put some cheese on than some honey or jam top of it. Most people doesn’t love it but I am 😊

You have to have breakfast at Bazlama it is in nisantasi (istanbul) itq quite expensive but its the best place

Note: Last thing i have to say that eat your breakfast with black tea. You should drink your Turkish coffe after the breakfast. Kahvaltı is a compound word of two words. Kahve + Altı = Kahvaltı. Kahve is Coffee, altı means prior, so kahvaltı means prior to coffee :D

A little advice: Don't add sugar to Turkish coffee afterwards because when you stir it, the sunken coffee grounds mix and make it taste bad. Sugar needs to be added while the coffee is brewed. Tell the waiters the amount of sugar you want when ordering. Otherwise, they would serve your coffee with no sugar and it is very strong already. (Az şekerli = a little sugar, orta şekerli = medium sugar, çok şekerli =much sugar, sade=no sugar) Orta şekerli is the best!

My breakfast is always same. Take a bread, wipe on little olive paste, put some cheese on than some honey or jam top of it. Most people doesn’t love it but I am 😊
