By the way, the final lyrics where the boy and the dog appear, say that we must stay away from violence and it is a hopeful song. There are some who believe that the titans will return, but they were born by the psyche, fears and desires of Ymir Fritz... as Zeke said. Therefore the titans will not return, since they were born by the desire of a slave girl with fears... the child at the end is the complete opposite, he is a free adventurer with a friend who is a dog... different from Ymir who A dog was chasing her to kill her.
21:45 In case you hadn't figured it out, the ram-looking titan is Tom Ksaver's Beast Titan. This was foreshadowed in the scene in 4x15 in which Mr. Ksaver tells Zeke about his wife's murder-suicide; as he's visualizing his family's dead bodies, you can see a toy ram on a shelf to one side. The animal that the Beast Titan resembles depends on the person inside; Zeke's just happened to resemble an ape (again foreshadowed by young Zeke's toy gorilla in 3x19).
@@user-sn1hi7my7x I don't think so. The zodiac consists of a ram, bull, crab, lion, scorpion, fish, and a goat-fish thing. Plus various humans (twins, virgin, archer, "water carrier") and a set of scales. No ape in there. Nor a snake, okapi, or extremely cute puppy dog 😆
37:33 Armin has been the narrator of the entire show since the beginning. :) The best explanation of AoT I’ve heard till date is “A story about Mikasa, from Eren’s point of view, told by Armin.” 41:19 There are two ending themes of the final Special. One is named “See you later/Itterashai”, sung by same singer who did the S4P2 ending theme, and it’s kinda about the thing Lisa said so you can check it out. And the other one is that which played while the credits rolled and it hits way harder when you know the lyrics, so I’d recommend checking out that one too. The ending theme for Special 1 was “Under The Tree”, by the same band who did the “Rumbling” OP, and I’d also recommend checking out the full version. All three of these are really, really good.
Eren; Someone who deliberately chose options, not because they were the most intelligent, nor because he was not aware that they hid selfishness, but rather chose those that gave him the greatest satisfaction and filled his desire for "freedom", wanted to feel that placebo. because yes, this is the story of an impossible and unattainable freedom and how the discourse between saving his loved ones and his people is mixed in the deepest desires of a character. Really i love it all episodes
Great to see someone else recognize the scene of Jean acknowledging Reiner as a comrade while trying to save him. Very underrated scene that I haven’t seen other reactors mention.
Seeing the scene with Levi salute to his fellow squads, was the saddest part of this episode because he lost literally everyone: Hange, Erwin, uncle Kenny, mom Kuchel, Isabel, Farlan, Petra and other members of his former squad, Levi has constantly loses the people he was close with, had to watch people die, and now even after the reign of titans has ended and he survives, he was bound to wheelchair with only Gaby and Falco, as his companions
Another thing is that just like when he said farewell to Hanji, saying "Shinzou wo Sasageyo" for the first time, that salute to his fallen comrades was also the first time we ever see Levi doing the salute himself in the entire series.
definetly check out all the OVAs, they give nice context to the world in earlier seasons. When it comes to openings and endings reactions, I hope you react to the full version of "under the tree" it hits a lot harder than the short one

if you see in the end mikasa sitting under the tree. she remembering the past when she came to wake up eren. Eren face was facing down it's show since it's been three years mikasa forgot eren face and how he looks like
I believe it was closer to "History repeats itself and becomes nothing(zero) again" Symbolizing the cycle restarted itself from square one so to speak.
I get why some don't like the ending. But to say it's horrible and ruins the entire series is just ridiculous to say. This will always be a masterpiece.🙏
Search up "Attack on Titan The Final Season FINAL CHAPTER ED|Ai Higuchi “Itterasshai(See you later) " if wanting to see extended ending song with video basically showing Mikasa re-uniting with Eren again in afterlife. :) Cute and wholesome stuff
Mikasa is singing part of the end credits song. Her voice stops because she passed away. Eren's voice comes in under hers when the bird shows up and wraps the scarf around her.
@MidnightNachos I wouldn't have said it. If I didn't look into it first, he sings that small part, and he also sings part of the outro with Revo, and he speaks the title of the song at the very end.

This show is perfect. At the end, when Mikasa is near Eren's grave, that's the first time, that Eren's voice and Mikasa's voice, are singing together in the whole show. Crazy good. At the end, Armin, said we must tell the others and survivors our story, that's exactly what the all show is at the same time and that's why, the narrator is the voice of Armin in the whole show... Insane, crazy. That's why also when Armin "died" there wasn't any narrator voice on the episode. And there are thousands others things crazies about this show, this anime is really a masterpiece.
or the show just took completly different route then someone wanted, like me for example, every episode was entertaining but still first half of the season 1 is my favourite part because i dont want another human vs human because human bad and evil, i just wanted humans vs titans yet very quickly that was pushed into the background this anime is like every zombie show ever, zombie appear yet for the most of the time they are the background feature while humans fight humans

The Paradis population still supports Eren, so Queen Historia had to come to some arrangement with the Yeagerists. The army they raised in the three years since Eren's death was to defend the island for any attacks from the outside world (they incorporated the three former military branches into one and people like Hitch and Rico joined them). Also yeah, Eren's plan was to save Mikasa, Armin and the Scouts+Warriors. To do that: remove the Curse of Ymir (the 13 years lifespan) ---> being killed by Mikasa ----> use the Rumbling ----> touch Zeke specifically in Paradis ---> provoke internal fights (forming the Yeagerists) ---> wait for Historia to get pregnant (to buy time) ---> etc etc etc etc etc ---> influence past Attack titan holders (including himself) to fight to obtain the Founding titan.
Hitch seems like someone who is clearly just there because they've to lay low within the military like shadis said. You can tell by how she's yawning and pretending to be cheering when everyone else there is fired up.
@@RhCp0212 I guess it depends on how you see it. For me that detail isn't random especially after what shadis said. She might be an official member but I don't think her ideologies align with the jaegerists. She's just there because the Island is now ran by jaegerists and she was part of the military. Maybe Jean at last married with Mikasa and had children with her. You would find someone visiting Eren's grave in the end credit, they seemed very much like Mikasa and Jean. Jean took Eren's place disguised himself as Eren some times, and he said himself that "I am the one to inherit Eren's Titans because no others but I should do that" in the train at sunset. Finally Jean took place of Eren to heal Mikasa's heart lost Eren and make Mikasa happy, so I thought.🥲 Not sure he lived in luxury like his imagination we saw several episodes ago, but he had lived happily with Mikasa, I hope.☺
When they showed Historia giving birth, it was to tease the audience and trick us to think that Erin was killed and the Founder was passed on. If a Titan shifter doesn't get eaten, the power is givin to someone born in that moment, kind of like The Avatar in a sense.
