I love how you methodically trace down the issues. I had the same at a donut shop and noticed, "hey, no tube and no PS", but as soon as I removed the Roll out switch the blower came on". Funny how these machines get a mind of their own! Keep making these TAD. I work alone and you a lot of you good AC guys on YT really are my "colleagues". Thanks again!
I didn't read through all the comments, and Im not doubting that it was a bad motherboard. Just curious if anyone else saw the substantial spiderweb in the right burner from the beginning!? I know that it doesn't take much to interfere with primary air interfering with a modern furnace firing up, especially when it's just one burner that isn't lighting. You have to look at everything very carefully every time. Not trying to hate at all, I love your videos, keep them coming. Like I said it was just an observation I made
This video came in clutch today. Had intermittent no heat & decided to investigate. Thanks to your video I knew where to start looking (I'm not an HVAC guy) & I found my problem. The nipple on the motor that connects the hose to the pressure switch was completely clogged with lime scale. Not sure how that happens but once I cleaned it out everything started working as it should. Thanks again for this video. It was an amazing resource.
I had an exact ameristar furnace the other day that was set up for propane do the same exact thing changed board gas valve and checked the inlet gas pressure it it was at 15 iwc and when furnace fired the propane would drop to 0 iwc got it narrowed down to a pressure regulator at the tank
Tadd is an awesome guy. Really would have loved to have heard back from you last year on the email. It's ok. You are a busy guy. I enjoy all your videos and the pride you always take in your work plus integrity
I think windy conditions make my mini splits run constantly. I'll have remote set at 65, but it will be 75 degrees in the house when it's windy out. I have a 4ft tall fence in front of units blocking wind a little , but still not performing as needed.
Just came from the same issue on a tempstar gas furnace. Only getting 2.1v out of the board on the inducer hot leg during call for heat, 120v going into the board. Inducer would come on intermittently if you reset the system, but never for more than a few seconds.
Yo Tad good vids bro , the very first thing I noticed was the board throwing 3 flashes pressure switch fault, if you always look at the fault codes on the board before doing anything might save ya some troubleshooting steps!
99% of the time you don't need to replace a spade connector unless it's corroded. However you do HAVE to smash crimp them again and smash down the female spade deals so it has a better connection on the male spade terminal.
I was just quoted $1,000 to replace my Ameristar main board. Seems a little excessive when I can find the part for about $60 new and the labor to replace it seems pretty straight forward. Is there something I'm missing as to why they would charge that much? And that is their discounted pricing according to them.
I just found a bad board on one of these pieces of junk last night. I didn't sell the communist chinese junk. Someone else did. The blower would not come on due to that larger relay energizing but not closing switch. Show me the money.

These are my favorite type of videos you make. Ones where you do a full troubleshooting walkthrough.

This video just hammers in the need for a pre-season inspection / PM. I’ve already done mine . Thanks Taddy.👍👍👍👍
Glad to help
I fix a lot of LP & Gas fire places, but they are boring compared to these furnace repairs! I love all of it! Thanks for the great tech tips Tad!
Thanks for watching!
It looks like that third burner tube was packed full of cobwebs and preventing gas from going through.
Man I wish I could ride with you. I’m trying learn everything still. Just trying to fill the gaps, thanks for these videos they are awesome!
way to stay cool while applying the heat.
Note these are notoriously clogging up the inducer motor vacuum port. Drill it out a little bigger takes care of it

Hi, great and informative video! BTW, do you have any residential electrical heat pump videos?

Good class amigo 👍🏾I appreciate it sir
You are very welcome
I’ve replaced about 4 boards on 4 different units in some apartments exact model for some reason the fan relays keep blowing up on them
#1 problem vacuum port on inducer plugs up have to drill it out a little bigger

Tad didn't you upload a video on York parts, specially for inducers and how you have to assemble them? I can't find it
I think this one is it

When you went down with the camera...nice cobwebs on rh inshot burner! ha.
Do u have a video on how to check high n low pressure switch on a bard unit
yes
5:50 that unit has 3 bars of signal. 😄😄😄
My weakness is diagnosing the control board. Do you have a video for that?
yes
Hi seeing is believing the skill demonstrated
Good job Teddy this’s no bueno

Sounds like you're being overcharged
can the boards be repaired or is that against the rules. relays are the first thing to go and there cheep.
Boards can be repaired sometimes
It's always great to try
And it's great to learn new ways to do things
Nice job imI wish, I could work for u and learn and become a good technician like u 💪🏼💪🏼
Nice job, amigo. I liked when you said No bueno 😅.
Thanks! 😃
TADDY BEAR I speak Spanish I like it
Must be the electronic control board
Gas furnace trouble shooting training
🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽👍🏽
Man unit doesn't have a ZW terminal? 😉👌😎👍
Common doesn't always mean "Ground" or "Neutral" it's just a wire that's "common to the circuit", Could be anything really.
All function is coming from the electronic board bro
Need more wiring experience and reading schematics
I want to be the first Spanish speaking employee in your company if u hire me…….😬
But can I make Bay Area wages?
Don’t know nothing furnace outside?
Gas pack, very common equipment in Southern states.

What unit isn’t made in China? Or have Chinese parts?
