Love these Casio models with an actual stainless steel shroud for a bezel. Sure beats those plastic cases made to look like steel (I'm looking at you A-168).
Great review! Any good? Yes! 10 years battery, its even a longer life than some solar ones... I have the analog variant (MWA-100H) and I absolutely love it. My wrist is 8.25 so case size is just perfect. And there is a lady variant, the LWA-300H: its a bit smaller and available in blue, white and rosegold versions.
Love the look of this but wished they did a slightly smaller version. I also wish Casio would make more round stainless steel smarter looking digital watches around the diver watch size of 42mm
Very similar in appearance to the WV-200R-5ACF I just bought from Amazon. Tried a Square G Shock 5610Uand couldn't hear the alarm so I thought I would have a go with the WV-200R-5ACF. For all intents and purposes it is tough enough for me. It is a waveceptor (so no accuracy issues) with 200M WR a quartz window and a stainless steel surround. Not as many functions re alarms etc but as a tough accurate watch it satisfies my need instead of the G Shock range and I can hear the alarm!!!
Looks great. Nice thorough review. I'll have to pull the trigger on this one.

@laushken The analog has a nice backlight (Illuminator),too, and with a standalone battery. Just push the light button.
I have the same one with a metal strap it's a great watch very easy to see the time

I did think this as I had it on my wrist. If it was just a touch smaller it would have been ideal.

No need of that because it's sporty so better bigg look is good.
I had order the steel strap now. Thank you for your review.
You are very welcome and I hope you wear your watch in good health!

Is the date just in US style i.e 6/30 instead of 30/6?
Please also do a MWQ-100 review.
If I ever get hold of one I will gladly feature it on the channel.
