As a teenager growing up without a father the only other male figure that was around was my grandfather, and I would see him dress very nice.He would use a handkerchief, pocket squares, even lapel pins.He wore chukkas, chelsea boots and wingtip brogues. He had a shoeshine box and I would shine his leather shoes and boots and he carried himself like a real man.At the time I had no idea what all this was.NOW I find myself dressing just like he used to,and I thank him for that even though he's not here anymore and I will continue this with my son and grandson whenever I get one.
YES!! Love this. Thanks for sharing. When we’re younger, we don’t realize or appreciate the older generation until later in life when we become the older generation.
I totally agree!! It not about looking better than someone else, it’s about looking the best that you can for yourself. Also, as a man I am representing my family.
I think you're the BEST advertisement for why this stuff matters. I do think that some people who say they DON'T care how they look really feel that fashion is not for them or even that they are not good-looking enough to bother and so it doesn't matter or is a waste of time. You're helping people understand how good it can make a person feel to take care of himself and see how differently and more pleasantly people approach him as a result. It is SO worth it. 👍✨
As a woman in her sixties, I enjoy your videos very much, and I've shared your channel with my followers on my blog. Being well dressed is a beautiful form of politeness. Thank you for your efforts.
I agree. I'm 43 and single (by choice) but the older I get, I realize that we need to respect ourselves more and have respect for other people who we are in contact with. Whether its how we eat or how we dress, we need to gain wisdom and grow as human beings. I used to have that "false humility" mentality but it's actually pride. Keep of the great work! This is a quality channel. Look forward to seeing more!

I always make the effort to care of myself,in how I'm dressed and my health, physically and emotionally by keeping busy in my business close relationships with family, friends and hobbies. Nice chat! There is a difference between being too engrossed in trying to get people's attention for personal validation and simply having respect for one's self. Putting your best foot forward indicates you have your act together, physically, mentally, and professionally.
Just subscribed. I’m 55 and have been paying much closer attention to my personal style and branding since I’ve lost 35 pounds (have 15 to go). It’s amazing how dressing better and paying attention to the details makes you feel. Every day I get a comment from someone and that just fuels the fire even more. I’ve been watching other channels (Real Men Real Style and Gentleman’s Gazzette) and I look forward to adding this in my lineup for ideas and motivation. I think style and taking care of yourself is timeless. Thanks.
You hit the nail right on the head sir! Here's a reason for dressing better and take care of yourself for those men in their 40's and up and I'm talking from experience and current situation. Being single in your 40's SUCKS! Finding a good quality woman that's beautiful, kind, smart and has her shit together and is single in this age range is damn near impossible. It gets really depressing always finding women like this but you look down at her hand and there's a big ole rock on her finger. There are some quality women out there in our age range that are single but if you can't bring it upon yourself to look better than the rest of the herd, you'll get passed up like the rest of the herd. I'm not the best looking guy or the worst looking but I've had women checking me out, some married ones too, simply because I've started dressing better. Another thing that has helped out is improving posture. Stand upright, don't slouch, walk with your shoulders back but not puffing out your chest, slow confident strides, keep a confident smile on your face. Let women know that you're an approachable, friendly man.
I agree.I personally go by two sayings mainly, 'Don't neglect yourself' and 'First you need to love yourself first to be able to love others'. There's another thing I've noticed over the years....if you gonna dress like bum, people will treat you like one and the other way around. I'm 39 ☺
New subscriber here. This is a great channel with lots of valuable content. I‘m glad you don’t hype cheap fashion watches and other useless products, but give honest advice in all things fashion and style for the grownup man. I’m an Italian in my late 40s now living in Germany and in Italy everybody tries to dress the best they can, no matter how much money ones got. What I have learned from very early on is, that style isn’t necessarily a thing of money. You can dress stylish and tasteful on a budget easily. Of course you have more options if you have more money, but money doesn’t make you more stylish. We like to dress well out of respect for ourselves and for others. Clothes makes the man (and the woman of course) and the first impression counts. We Italians love clothes, style and fashion, always did, and we grow up with some sense for it that I miss in other countries. In some other countries people may think you are gay when you don’t dress like a bum and have some interest for clothes whereas in Italy it is a natural thing. However, your channel is a great thing to spread the word and make people aware that dressing well is something everybody should think about. Well dressed people make this world a nicer place. Keep up the great work. All the very best from Germany. Ciao!
Great advise. As a professional in my mid 50s, who also has a big beard, it is critical that I am conscience of how I present myself to others both with my style and my demeanor. I really appreciate what you are doing here and love the channel.
As a 47-year old dad who, up until recently one was one of those who could care less - I just wanted you to know that I appreciate your videos. Stumbled across it while researching colognes and have subscribed and watched more content. Keep up the good work sir.
You're absolutely right, never ever too late to upgrade the way to present your self in positive way, respect your self first to others respect you back.
I believe that we teach people how to treat us by how we treat ourselves. I’ve struggled with being overweight for nearly 2 decades so being stylish was far from a priority of mine for a long time. Most recently after losing nearly 60lbs, while simultaneously upgrading my personal style, I noticed a difference in the positive responses/ reactions I receive from people in every day situations. I was always a decent looking guy but my style of clothing was outdated and was usually relegated to b-ball shorts and tees. I looked old and felt older than my mere 47 years. It’s pretty bad when your wife considers jeans, a clean tee, and white sneakers as being dressed up but that’s how low I had sunken. I now carry myself with more confidence because I feel good about me and I think subconsciously people pick up on it.
I just turned 60. I'm glad I found your channel. I live in SoFlo and was in a rut of a tshirt shorts and Birkenstocks. Both my father and myself use to shop and dress from high end men's stores and your videos woke me up to start dressing better again. Now can you sent me some samples !? LOL. Great videos for us "older" guys !
I haven’t reach my 40s yet. But getting compliments from others how I dress myself is something I get often. Personally I think having your own style and carrying with confidence is important.
I'm 79 and believe the style presented by you works for any adult male. For those that have to look at me, I can make their experience as painless as possible.
I am completely blown away at the quality of the comments this channel is getting. I'm by no means a clairvoyant but, I see in the very near future that your channel is going to BLOW UP! I am totally stoked for your soon to be realized success! Peace
Im 61 and a barber for the past 40 years. From the time i was a kid style is very important. I shave my head daily (im going bald) trim my beard weekly, go to the gym, watch what i eat. I go to work at the barbershop in a shirt and tie and i require the same of my employees. It is incredibily important to look good at all times.
Quality material here that you represent and you are right on point, It's important to Groom and most of all have some respect for oneself, I'm over 50 and find myself renewing more than ever. Keep the great videos coming.
I couldn't agree more and applaud your rant! I am a suit salesman and I see this "could careless" attitude everyday with gentleman whose wives make them come in for a suit or needed for a formal function. So keep up the good work spreading the word and need for self improvement in this far too casual (almost sloppy) world.
Interesting conversational piece and presumably given the point of your channel there will be an element of preaching to the choir here. As a mid 50’s gentleman I would say that being well presented has no downsides only benefits. All the points you make about self respect and how others perceive you are of course valid. I would add that looking your best is fun,and adds a little extra element of enjoyment to any situation you may find yourself in. In my opinion there are two attributes no gentleman could have too much of. Style and charm. Both those things should have value throughout your life. Take a look at any photo of Cary Grant even into his late seventies he was style personified. Don’t we all want a little bit of what he had? Have watched several of your videos now and am really enjoying the content and your presentation is excellent. Stylish and charming some might say. Keep up the good work.
Dean Noble Thank you for your thoughtful and well written comment! I agree that there are only upsides to taking care in your personal presentation. Thanks again for being here!
Dude, I'm that guy who says he doesn't care and I've been lying to myself for decades. It got so ridiculous that I wouldn't even look at myself in the mirror, just FEARFULLY chuck something on and go. Well I started watching your channel for no other reason than that I recently went in a National Triathlon for the first time and came second in my age category. I was genuinely surprised how well I did and it made me start thinking for some reason about style. I wear runners at work and I am a professional. I took your advice and bought a pair of plain leather runners (black or navy blue with a white sole, exactly the same as yours). Last night, after dropping my daughter off at an event, I took a downtown stroll in those new shoes (handmade in Portugal but half price). I had my faded black jeans on, a nice belt and I tucked my shirt in as per your advice. Okay, I am carrying a few extra kilo's and my gut was clearly visible. But somehow it was so much fun, and normally it isn't fun. Strolling along, looking at other people, where have I been lately? I was amazed at work when other people, especially women, reacted in a positive way to me which clearly conveyed a friendly manner that made my job 10 times easier. I also wear a plastic camo watch that I bought years ago because it was cheap. Tonight I bought a proper dress watch that conveys my outdoorsy style and personality but is silver with a solid metal bracelet, and looks very professional in a casual, relaxed way. I can't wait for it to arrive. This is a long story just saying I really appreciate your channel; it is not cheesy in the slightest and I look forward to more content. Thankyou very much Good Sir!!
Appreciate you comments that are so right on! At the age of wondering if I'm not dressing age appropriate I found you as guide. Sounds crazy but have always tried to be in the current style but kinda hesitant to not look like that PERSON . Keep the videos coming.
I think you're dead on in this one. I'm 50, I have a 12 year old child and I basically cashed out of the personal style ways during those years. I just thought that it would be best to be a regular old everyday DAD. But you're absolutely right, we're not dead yet, we deserve better and so do our spouses. I've learned (or re-learned) so many important ways to simply pick yourself up and make a better appearance to everyone around you from your videos, its just amazing. Thank you and keep the videos coming!
And it's fun too. I 100% agree with above comments. I can not comprehend why one doesn't want to look good, or at least decent. This is just an excuse of being lazy. Great channel and tons of great advice for any men, doesn't matter the age bracket.
One of the things I like about your videos and this one showcases it in particular is your presentation. You deliver your content in such a manner that I feel as if you are addressing me personally. In fact with the clarity of your videos if I watch on full screen it's almost like skypeing. Keep up the good work.
I just recently started watching your videos and I appreciate your content. Your videos are genuine and you get to the point, and you certainly aren't obnoxious like some popular male youtubers on men's fashion! Do you plan on doing a video on men's skin? More in particular how to avoid looking tired and older than you really are. Great video keep up the great work!
As a mid 50ish guy, I went through the "I don't care bit "for a long time, years ago. The last few years since moving I've had to look at least presentable to meet people. However, The last year or so I've started to actively work on my style and look. I find I like the classic traditional look. Nothing trendy or over the top, just nice and neat, and understated. As you said, one is judged by your initial appearance, if you look like a bum or a slacker, you'll be treated as such. and anything you say or do, what might be of value will be dismissed because they've already decided your not to be trusted. However, if you come across as put together, neat, and look like you care about how you look and are trying to look as good as you can, That generally changes most impressions folks about you when they first meet you. Of course if your an idiot, your an idiot, just a well-dressed idiot. Don't be Him..
@@40OverFashion Thanks for both reading my comments for a video several weeks old and commenting back. What YT need is more men similar to you, who are Older, Dare I say Baby Boomers who can give their take on the classic men's style, for the older audience, There are plenty of young guys with ideas of what classic style is, and while most of them are ok. I have had issues with one, and his advice about a t-shirt and jacket. But other then that most of his other stuff was ok. My point is this topic from an older gentleman's experience and perspective geared towards the older guy who wants to look good, but not look like his grandpa, well, maybe he does,, but better..
That story reminds me of a common attitude I have always heard about dancing. I have heard how it is stupid or a laundry list of what it says about the "man" doing it. But what I have taught both my sons is to look where the ladies are, and where the guys who don't dance are. And to not worry about how good you are, because willingness is what matters. Now fill in style in place of dance into that blip.
Love your content! As a man who has just turned 50 ( most people think im in my early 40's as I cycle a lot and have looked after myself for a long time)) Could you do a video on trouser length? I know that trousers are creeping up and I would like to see some content on this issue. I love the loafer and short pant look........but the hows and why's...well I hope to see something from you!
I'm pleasantly surprised you come across humble, even though you have multiple reasons you could swell with pride, including being articulate & intelligent. Your transparency makes you watchable & relatable (don't worry no man-crush). I respect & appreciate your opinions on fashion. Thank you for sharing your insights. God bless you
Love you channel Mate! I'm a kiwi bloke turning 50 in a few days and took an honest look in the mirror. I wasn't happy with what I saw. My wife puts the effort in when going out, I have been slacking off. Time to change! The hair thing is now on my list, weight loss is happening and I am definitely checking out the cologne, which haws got some good responses already. Thanks for your efforts, please keep it up!
Hi John, Cuthbert from Brooklyn NYC i had that problem with good friend of mine, it ended bad because. The lady he like didn't like his Style. I try to help, but didn't work out. So keep on what you doing it all Good
Thank you, really enjoy your videos! I love old cars (1925 MBenz Cabriolet) old houses, old shoes, old clothes . . . well made, well designed and well tailored clothes never go out of style. You can look at Desi Arnaz in the early 'I Love Lucy' (1950) episodes, he wore some fantastic Sport Coats, Jackets, slacks, shoes, etc . . . you could wear that clothes today and look as 'sharp' and fashionable as anyone out there. Of course I still love a pair of 'Levis' and a white T-shirt with a nice pair of loafers (a la James Dean) . . . a friend once told me, if you're wearing a 'good' tie and a 'good' pair of shoes, you can get by, some things you can't fake. One again, thank you for your video posts, I can always learn something new and I love new ideas and information on what's out there.
As a 61year old manual worker I have to agree. Two years ago I came down with flu,no biggie you think, since then health has been an issue,my daily run went my weight lifting suffered and I became fat,22%.Those clothes I felt comfortable in were now stretched.Still I fought back and am on the right side of gaining back my health. However, most recently I went to view a house we are now buying, the utter contempt I was greeted with was,for me,surprising.Yet the agents involved knew our finances. When my wife turned up in her clean car and nice clothes things mellowed a little. So what was it?The subliminal message I was sending I was fat,old and uninterested with no energy.,simply because I was 22%fat and my clothes were and still are a disaster but is changing,I didn't say I would not hire a stylist.Even at my age I have a lot of learning to do on a subject I thought was unimportant.I have never worn a watch suddenly this is another important subliminal message! I have a long way to go to reach the heights you and viewers have scaled but I have made the decision.
I was in a store the other day. I wasn't wearing the best outfit in the world; an older pair of slacks, a blue Oxford cloth that was a little oversized, a cotton blazer that may have about 2 years left, a brown fedora and I was tieless, but with a pocket-square. The service I got from the staff was extremely attentive, almost fawning. Every other guy in the place was doing the jeans and t-shirt thing. Just by being the imperfect, but best dressed guy in the place paid dividends!
I think, for a lot of guys fashion and style is on the lowest rung of importance. Not saying it should be. But we put it on the back burner as we work on what we think are the priorities. Clothing and such for us is usually a way second thought. Best to ensure we have the clothes we need for work, spend the money on family and others. It's a really tough call and a lot of us didn't or don't have the financial overhead to put into this. Also, for a lot of guys (read all) it has been almost impossible to get any reasonable direction or advice. I go into a menswear shop and I'm a sheep waiting to be shorn. This channel gives me the information and recommendations which are really helping to put together the first steps towards good style and fashion sense. One of the biggest benefits = if you love the stuff you buy and wear it = it's a bargain. A lot of us I am sure have struggled with mistakes and that's lost money. Thanks for this.
Just a comment, if you share your shoes (nice collection BTW) I would recommend to show them clean and polish and/or moisture. You could talk about how to keep the format (shoe trees) and the look by using different products, how to store them, etc. Nice channel !
People instinctively gives you first impression the way you look and act. That applies to all of us and it's a natural reaction especially if you meet this person for the first time..;-0
It's important but in my 40s now I only follow classic style which often means I wear a jacket and tie more often and don't wear severely distressed denim or sports clothing when I'm not actually doing sports!
I get what you're saying! It's a respect thing. If you don't spend a little time on how one looks, at what level are you going to care about another person? I think it also speaks to if an individual pays attention to details. Taken to an extreme, it could be said that with that lack of concern, it could affect if a person is safe. It seems that someone that would so flippantly say such a thing lacks a sense of awareness. Being unaware is rarely ever a good thing! Peace
HI John ,The type of person that you referred to in this vid is typical of the single guys I see at our local Cabaret Nightclub . Then they wonder why they are single. The married guys and those in relationships we socialise with tend to present themselves much better which in turn respects their partner and themselves .
I think my situation is not unique. I am ending a 30+ marriage and at 52 have plenty of interest in dating etc. However, for the last three decades, someone else has picked out my clothes and made suggestions for a haircut and other appearance issues. Now I am competing with guys much younger than me. I lost 40+ pounds last year and now I need to rehab my style. I know I am not alone here LOL.
Yeah I don’t know what that guy was thinking or his self-esteem but I always hang out with people that care about style care about how they look about how they look I care about how I look I don’t necessarily care if someone doesn’t like my style I am pretty stylish guy thanks the videos like this but what are you think about yourself should matter
That’s a great video and great points that he is making I find it very hard to respect someone who does not care about them self if they do not care about them self they damn sure are not going to care about you or anyone else
Ok iam a new fan ive watch a few Videos of your i really like them i have always care about how i look & now I'm 43yo its even more important & ive been stuck in same style for 8 years ugh . Yes we judge how others look & percent there selfs .& if my husband told me he's doesn't care how he looks ??? 😒😵 i would not be seen out in public lol so i understand first impression are EVERY thing . By the way iam subscribing to your you tube .👍
You have any advice about hair? Just can't seem to get it right. I comb my hair and by the time I get to the office it's all over the place. My hair just doesn't seem to stay down and using gel kind of feels weird after it dries.
I guess it depends on your hair length and how you style it. Try using a styling product with wet hair and a blow dryer to help hold your hair in place.
General style question for you. How do you feel about a plain t-shirt under a button down shirt? I do it as I am an excessive sweater. Just don't want to ruin my nice shirts. Some day I will have the cash for under arm botox, but until then should I keep the t-shirt?
Hey Brad! Are we talking about every-day-wear-to-work button downs that you tuck in? If so, I'd go with something like Ribbed-T as an under shirt. They're lightweight, form-fitting, extra long (so it stays tucked in) and super stretchy. Way more ideal than a regular T. If we're talking a casual weekend untucked look, I'd say it's okay as long as the T isn't oversize and long. Otherwise it can look a bit sloppy.
Dude you say like, like a lot, like really a lot. Like wow...........but I like what you are talking about. I am one of those "don't care" guys. Now that I am 45 I'm looking to make some changes. Just may keep watching.
I'm 47 years old and in better health than I've ever been in. I run 5 miles every other day in about 35 minutes. I lift weights and do cardio on the days that I don't run. Not to brag but I have a great figure and sure as heck am not going to walk around in sweatpants or dad jeans.
I agree, style does matter. It is a matter of self respect, dignity, feeling good about oneself, and impressing others to respect you and feel good about you. It is uplifting to see someone stylish! Style matters for me at 63 too

I’m 74 and style still matters! As Tom Ford said , “Dressing well is a form of good manners”

What a great message
Really appreciate hearing this. One word. Your grandad was and will always be remembered as a “Gentleman”
Losing weight and working out over the past few months has got me many compliments- the feel good factor is amazing
Finally, a channel for more mature (age wise) men.

Yes! congratulations on the new & improved you!
Kirby, i’ve always believed there is power in fashion....I think you’ve tapped into it.......
40 Over Fashion Thank you.
The Crusader I’m a believer.Thank you for your response.
Thanks for your comment and I’m glad you’re here!
Peace
Thank you!
I agree @Brent bc fashion for over 40 men is overlooked...right now fashion is focused on the young man......
Hi, I just found out about this channel and I'm glad I did. I'm 49 and to me style always matters.
Well said Russell! Thanks for your comment!
Quality material here that you represent and you are right on point, It's important to Groom and most of all have some respect for oneself, I'm over 50 and find myself renewing more than ever. Keep the great videos coming.
Style reflects how you feel and view urself
I couldn't agree more and applaud your rant! I am a suit salesman and I see this "could careless" attitude everyday with gentleman whose wives make them come in for a suit or needed for a formal function. So keep up the good work spreading the word and need for self improvement in this far too casual (almost sloppy) world.
Thank you vest much David! I'm also in the wedding industry, so I see it just about every weekend. Thanks for being here!
@@40OverFashion Are you a wedding photographer?
Among a few other things, yes. :)
Jeff, Thank you very much for taking time to comment! Your story is similar to mine. I appreciate your comment and I'm so glad you're here!
Thank you John! I’m glad you’re here!
Great vid. Myself style is about being yourself wearing what you want and not caring to a point what people say.
And it's fun too. I 100% agree with above comments. I can not comprehend why one doesn't want to look good, or at least decent. This is just an excuse of being lazy. Great channel and tons of great advice for any men, doesn't matter the age bracket.
Absolutely brilliant point. Something all father needs to teach their children...
“Dressing well is a form of good manners” - Tom Ford
One of the things I like about your videos and this one showcases it in particular is your presentation. You deliver your content in such a manner that I feel as if you are addressing me personally. In fact with the clarity of your videos if I watch on full screen it's almost like skypeing. Keep up the good work.
Thank you!
Haha! Well said my friend! I'm glad you're here!
Kenneth, thank you for all the kind words my friend! Have a great weekend! See you Sunday with a new upload!
God bless you
Thank you very much Brian! I appreciate the kind words!
Great stuff John...this video had really made an impact in me...
always very conscious of how I look in public.
Now, because of you I make better choices thank you
Thank you very much!
I have a long way to go to reach the heights you and viewers have scaled but I have made the decision.
very well said.
On point. More men need to hear this. Grooming, Health, Mental health and Presentation. So so important
Thanks Gary!
Style always matters! Nice John
It is as valid as anything. People see you. If you take time to make it beautiful, then you are adding value to the world. Nice video
It's important to look your best.
I like to look good for me and for my wife. I see it as a value, as a way to project myself and to show my confidence!!
CornCod1 Yes! It’s 100% true! Appreciate your comment!
Thank you very much for your comment!
Totally agree with you on this one..👍
Awesome video! I like style and feel great when I look great.
Thank you!
61 I love styling clothes and shoes, and love to wear watches.
I still wear watches as well
Dude that blue flannel is sick
Ur %100 right sir.
Nice video John....I like your check blue shirt....
Love this video. Please do a try on video of cool & appropriate clothes for men over 40.
Thank you! Appreciate your suggestion!
can’t agree more.
That applies to all of us and it's a natural reaction especially if you meet this person for the first time..;-0
Hi john... recently i found your videos and i kinda like it man... keep up the good work... if i could describe your videos its 'CRISP'...
It's important but in my 40s now I only follow classic style which often means I wear a jacket and tie more often and don't wear severely distressed denim or sports clothing when I'm not actually doing sports!
Style matters more in mature age - Rather than in teenage. Even if you never style ever, you must, At and above 40 !
Two thumbs up John . . 👍👊
Thank you!
@@40OverFashion Welcome !
I m 40 and inspired by you, keep it up
Thank you!
Agreed. Thanks for commenting!
Just found your channel! Great video!
I will make this comment very simple. Thank you so much 😊. I have learnt a lot. Oh and I just subscribed 👍
Thank you very much Steve!
Hey! I feel you on multiple levels. I started paying more attention to my clothing after also loosing 40 lbs.
Thank you for this video. Your channel was recommended by The Syle O.G. Keep up the good work. Salute
Hi Wayne, Salute! Glad you're here!
We all have many versions of ourselves.
I am a woman and love your channel especially to help my husband :)
Thank you!
You should have your own show on TV, by the way.
RESPECT!
Well said
Ok iam a new fan ive watch a few Videos of your i really like them i have always care about how i look & now I'm 43yo its even more important & ive been stuck in same style for 8 years ugh . Yes we judge how others look & percent there selfs .& if my husband told me he's doesn't care how he looks ??? 😒😵 i would not be seen out in public lol so i understand first impression are EVERY thing . By the way iam subscribing to your you tube .👍
Thank you!
Taking care of your appearance means taking care of yourself, respect yourself and others.
If take care with your looks you add value to every room you walk into. Others get to enjoy it more than you. add value
Consciously i dont care what i look, but subconsciously which is 95% of the time I do.
You don't need to apologize
WE don't need to apologize.
At all.
Any videos on formal shirts and trousers?
Thanks for the suggestion!
I was talking to a younger man about diet once, and he said " I don't like anything that is good for me!"
Style has nothing to do with what other people think of me; it has everything to do with what I think of myself, how I view myself.
Caring for your look can improve you mentale state.... Make you feel better.. I have seen it in women, So Why Not Men..
Thanks so much. Sounds like I am already on the right track.
💯
Dude you say like, like a lot, like really a lot. Like wow...........but I like what you are talking about. I am one of those "don't care" guys. Now that I am 45 I'm looking to make some changes. Just may keep watching.
I know. I'm like, working on it. :) Glad you're here!
My problem is i just can't find anything i like to wear
I'm 47 years old and in better health than I've ever been in. I run 5 miles every other day in about 35 minutes. I lift weights and do cardio on the days that I don't run. Not to brag but I have a great figure and sure as heck am not going to walk around in sweatpants or dad jeans.
