I agree Am 47 ,i do get my jeans at AE store the last 3 years , after trying Diesels, levis, wrangler,Lees,TR , etc..AE is the best you can get , i love them ,they are great jeans even the denim jackets as well. They have variety of colors , types, distress, inseams long etc.. Good luck!
Totally agree! I own several pair of AE jeans. They are very comfortable, great fit and not expensive. Purchased most of mine on clearance... &19.99! Can’t beat it!
I realize this video is a year old but I'm just seeing it and have to respond. My younger brother turned me on to AE jeans a couple years ago when he gave me a pair that he had and didn't like the particular fit on him. I had just gotten my Harley and was needing a bunch more jeans for my wardrobe! Well...I discovered Plato's Closet second time around store and they usually have a good supply of AE jeans. I've gotten all but one or two pairs from them at a crazy low price each ($12-16). I love em. Thanks for what you do John...😎
I have to agree. Stopped by an American Eagle recently only because they were having a big sale, never been there before. Tried a couple of pairs or Slim Straight jeans and the fit and comfort was perfect. Best jeans I've ever owned.
You are right John. It’s dificult to buy jeans and the most difficult part is to find confortable ones.. i Would like to try those you have suggested., but as well as I live in Brazil ir’s difficult. John I would like to know how to wear a bow tie and what occasions to wear apart from wearing them with a tuxedo. Keep on with your nice tips!!!!!
Hello. So I binged watched your channel today. I got to this particular video and 100% agree. I have 4 pair of AmEagle Jeans myself. All I love. I am a bigger man and lift regularly and these are the best fit for my hamstrings over any jean ever. And they are roomy but not baggy in the glutes. But yea I just stick to jeans at AmEagle. > I do appreciate your channel on fashion, wine, grooming. All are great. I have my own style and in Miami, South Fla it is anything goes. But I try and keep it a cut above and a little more classy. Your style is great. Keep it up cause I find no one else who speaks to me like this.... the fit over 40 guys are ok. But that is only a fraction of life. You cover much more and applies to work, free time, dining, etc... love it man!!!!!
I 101 % agree with you. The comfort and look are fantastic and sizing right on in slim. I bought my first 2 pairs in a thrift shop in great shape and around eleven bucks. Now I know where to go for the first new pair.
I bought a couple of pairs of Freedom Flex AE jeans on their sale rack a couple or years ago on a whim and one thing I have noticed beside the fact they are comfortable is they are somewhat impervious to crotch thinning and blowouts which is an issue I have with regular selvage denim. The one thing they don't seem to do is get that neat "whiskering " effect in the creases that regular selvage denim gets with age. Keep those vids coming as they always have great content.
Wow. I took your advice and ordered two pairs of the America Eagle jeans. I’m in the UK, so I had to wait a couple of weeks - but it was worth it. Really light, comfortable, and a great selection. Thanks! Would love to see a review of EDC bags from you. I want something stylish that’s not a bum-bag (fanny pack) or a handbag.
I am a big fan of American Eagle clothing just a pity that I live in the uk! Some of the clothing is quite Young but you can pick a few items out from them.
AE jeans are great , trust me on this one. Am over 40 but AE jeans fits to evwrybody, you can buy 2 for 79 dollars these days , buy one get one 1/2 price. Take care
When trying on jeans take time to check how the back pockets look. Smaller pockets placed up higher give the impression of glutes that are rounder and fuller when viewed from the side and back.( I will use the pockets of Wrangler jeans here as an example.) Conversely , jeans with larger pockets that are set lower tend to make the glutes look deflated.(Rock Revivals are famous for this.) Something as an older guy you definitely DON'T want. After all people see you coming AND going. AE jeans have pretty good pocket placement though personally I wish they were a bit higher up.
Ok, I’m going to take your advice, John and I’ll let you know what I find tomorrow. Going first thing in the morning to try that Slim Straight fit. I bought some very expensive AGs tonight and I’m taking them back tomorrow because they just don’t look right compared to these from American Eagle! Btw, I’ll save myself around $140.00, if these AE jeans work.
Ok John, you were right! I just left AE and they had not one but two pairs of jeans that fit me perfectly. I got them on sale for $30 bucks a pair!! I’m taking these stupid AG $200.00 jeans back right now! Thank you John for saving my shopping time!
There is a marketing ploy/sales tactic where they will make an article that runs large. It’s called “vanity sizing.” If you are a size 30 and fit into something labeled 28 you’re more apt to buying it.
John, Sooner or later, one of you guys is going to recognize that smaller, higher placed back pockets compliment the backside better (my wife straightened me out on this issue) A standard, large medium or low placed back pocket (per wife) cuts the @ss in half. Take a look at Wrangler 936DEN the way the back pockets ride higher and dont crease when you walk. I like the fit of many jeans I e Mott & Bow/Joes/Tecovas etc They get the slim fit and tapered leg right but still put the pocketsat the lower butt/upper thigh position. Not trolling rather trying to get you style guys to put pressure on jeans makers to move the pockets up👍🏼
I like Diesel brand made in USA and Italian only, they are top quality and true to size. They have other lines in Diesel made in third world countries, avoid these, they are inferior in quality and sizing. You get what you pay for in clothing. FYI I only dry clean my denim after every ten uses. Prevents shrinkage and fading. They will look new for ever.
What is the size of your slim ae jeans? May i know your height? Because i have tried their skinny extreme flex4 32x30... I would like to try the one youre using..
If it falls off your body it might be too big. The AE stuff might run a bit bigger. Not sure. I'm usually somewhere between a 30-32 waist. It all depends on the brand I guess.

@@wadebolderman3250 I agree, not more expensive jeans for me anymore, AE takes my money now, their jeans are great !

AE has some great polo shirts, also.

John, What is the inseam for those pants? 30?
Hard to believe AE has jeans I would like to wear
I hate buying jeans. I have found one type at LL Bean that I feel fit me best. I wear chinos more often because they fit better.
Yeah, it can be tough finding a good fit. I hear with with chino's!
Naked and famous....hands down the best jeans on the market
What is the size of your slim ae jeans? May i know your height? Because i have tried their skinny extreme flex4 32x30... I would like to try the one youre using..
I'm 5'9" 175. These jeans are 31x30.
Thank you sir.... Glad youre here......
Am i wearing wrong size of jeans? I am 5'8 150lbs using 32/30 ae jeans.. Youre bigger but your jeans size is only 31

I used to be a Levi's guy, but they suck now; it's time to look somewhere else for my denim.
👍
I feel like a woman searching for jeans 🤣 I love Gap bootcut but will have to check the AE
Hi Matt! You’ll be glad you did!
I just can't wear jeans....looks good all the same!
What size do you wear?
John Williams I’m roughly a 31 x 30.
After seeing your videos i like to copy your style.. Im 43yo... Thanks
