On the outside you will discover unique 19in wheels, massive Brembo brakes, adjustable rear wing and Borla exhaust. On the inside you will be greeted by stock Dark Horse components, Motec system, race cage and fire suppression system. @@RaitisRides I'm still saving up for the 2026 Dark Horse model, if there won't be a 2026 model year it'll have to be the 2026 Ford Mustang Mach-E coupe. Maybe I'll end up settling for the more affordable 2026 Ford Mustang ecoboost fastback. When do you think we will get a glimpse of the 2025 dark horse variants?
Really loving these new Mustangs. Sure, not perfect, but a badass looking car with a 500HP Manual V8 for a decent price is right up my alley in 2023.

The EV push wasn't what Ford or other automotive manufacturers wanted excluding Tesla. The new government Cafe Fleet regulations requiring increases in fleet mpg and reduction in carbon emissions. Ford has Only Two EVs in the US. The Mach E and F150 lightning. Stellantis discontinued their Hemi vehicles likely due to the millions of dollars in government fines. I believe the aforementioned Ford EVs helped balance their fleet mpg numbers helping keep the new higher horsepower S650 Coyote V8 in the Mustang.
@@DWH300 Actually........now that you say that, it makes perfect sense now. I guess I was viewing it from the wrong angle this whole time. That also might be why Ford calls the Mach E a 'Mustang' so they can claim that the Mustang can get at least 25MPG. This is coming together now.
LOL 😂 Dark Horse R Sorry to say is not the ultimate Mustang . You would be better off buying a GT4 Mustang or Shelby FP350S If you can find one . The Shelby GT350 and GT350R is the best track Mustang ever built for consumers. The reviews are in and they're not that impressive basically saying it's a S550 with a refresh . I know Ford is still putting in V8 and manual but the sad thing is Dodge is still going to outsell them 3to1 , But on the good hand I think there's gonna be a huge increase of buying 20-21 Mustangs Due to they are very easily tunable . A whole group of us at the garage are laughing our ass off over the graphics . Joe you always do a great review just keep it honest .

A fantastic nasty sounding Mustang. Joe. Your review of this special Mustang was outstanding. Dropped a like, love you mustang videos man! However, this one, will have to be skipped if you like modding and tuning. A $145K car, that is limited to 500 HP, meanwhile a s197 coyote with basic mods will be taking you to gapplebees!
Not excited about this due to the fact the wheels are now 19" Previous FP350S model was better...equipped with 18" wheels. Much more cost effective for consumables . Bigger is hardly ever better especially on race cars.

The Brembo calipers have a peculiar shape. Is it a new technology? Finally, since it's a challenge race car, FP should put all you Media people on a three or five lap proper race. You can put your stickers/levery, too. That would be THE media event. Come on Ford.

Just cannot get into this new design. So dissatisfied and disappointed. Do not want or need all that tech crap in my car. Just more to go wrong and costly to fix. Looks like a Honda accord in the front. Camaro from the rear quarters back. Only thing cool (to me) are thr fox body gauges. Just my opinion I know no one else cares amd in the minority. Just let down as a mustang fan for over 40 years. Does nothing for me and that’s depressing for me. Keep up the great videos

I would rather get an RC F Track Edition for 102K if I have that much money, a bulletproof V8 with a Lexus reliability and that is Track ready and doesn't break down or look hideous inside out like this. Plus I can use the left over cash to Supercharge the Lexus V8 from 472HP to 600HP+ and doesn't blow the engine, 2UR GSE sound is much better than any American V8 honestly. OR buy the pre owned 2017-2020 Shelby GT350R Ford Mustang which nails down the Mustang look and matches the Ford V8 heritage and has more HP than this plus can be used on both Street and Track. Oh also this has Flow-Formed wheels not even Forged, that is a joke. Lexus offers IS 500 with BBS Forged even and RC F as well. And RC F Track edition has Brembo Carbon Ceramic brakes plus a ton of Carbon Fiber - roof, hood, front spoiler, rocker-panel splitters, rear diffuser and fixed rear wing plus interior as well. Sorry this is a massive L.
