      This so called Jaipur family, helped Mughals, they were loyal dogs of Mughals, that's why shivaji maharaj and bajirao peshwa insulted this Jaipur fake ram family, and praised Mewad royal family. shivaji maharaj said Mirza Raja that "you're descendants of ram why r u loyal to Mughals?" Mewad maharana pratap royal family were true rajputs. They fought for dharma. Not like this Jaipur family.

    He is born into a Royal family. He lives a Royal life. Do we criticise him for that? Wouldn't we have done the same if we were born in such a rich family?
    His family ruled Jaipur for centuries. Thus, he is not the ruling but the titular Maharaja of Jaipur, although unofficial. He is not urging people to call him a Maharaja or to bow down in front of him. So why should someone have a problem?
    People are asking what's his contribution to the society. He is a national level polo player and represents India to the world. He and his family run numerous charitable organisations in Rajasthan which have benefited numerous down trodden people. They have also sponsored education and marriages of numerous poor girls irrespective of their caste, religion and creed. They do not need to do all this charity to please people as they are no more in power. But they still do it because they have been doing it since centuries. Being or not being in power does not make a difference. The government of India has abandoned the monuments and has done little to preserve the heritage and culture of Rajasthan. But these Royals took up the onus on themselves and have done everything to preserve the ancient glory. That's why today people from all over the world visit Rajasthan. Due to this the tourism has improved and it is providing livelyhood to millions of poor. Also the government is benefiting by collecting taxes. Tourism is a big revenue in Rajasthan and major credit goes to the Royals. Isn't this a contribution to the society??
    People here are saying that he drives a Mercedes and talks about being humble. So does one needs to be poor in order to be humble??
    Every single person in this world wants to be rich and famous like Padmanabh Singh and everyone dreams of a luxurious life. But the same people criticise other rich people who live a luxurious life.
    Is it hypocrisy or are we jealous because we are not blessed with this kind of wealth and luxury?

      Your better ones failed to stop Britishers. Because they do not care about what is happening outside their palace, their kingdom. All they cared about is their so-called 'Shaan'. The word 'India' which you are calling was divided into a thousand pieces. Your better ones(whom we called 'hamara maibaap') deal your life with firangi Taliban and got settled there. When your ancestors faced whip, your better ones take whiskey sip..

    • @1081rohitsingh
      @1081rohitsingh 5 лет назад

      @@TheDeppy007 You know little about history. India was not divided into 1000 pieces because it was never one country before it got independence from the British. Each kingdom was an individual country and had it's own set of rules and laws. Coming to the British, the Maharajas could not stop them because the size of their armies was very small compares to that of British. So it was like a big empire attacking a small kingdom. The only option was either cooperate or perish. We cannot blame them for that because being small kingdoms and with such a small army that was the best thing they could do at that point. Otherwise they would have been wiped out. Scenario would have been different if all the Royals would have united against the British. But cannot blame them. After 70 years of independence are we as citizens still United?

      @TheDeppy007 5 лет назад +1

      @@1081rohitsingh All your reasons are true and could look as logical. But you missed the major part of history. You said it was never India, so I would like to inform you that it was divided into various kingdoms but all these lands combinely known as Hindustan. And before that, 'bharat varsh'

    • @1081rohitsingh
      @1081rohitsingh 5 лет назад

      @@TheDeppy007 Yes it was known as Hindustan and Bharat Varsh. That was the geographical and cultural identity of the subcontinent but it was not a unified political entity. Today no one can invade us because we are a politically unified. But scenario will change if each Indian state becomes an individual country. A strong foreign invader can easily invade and capture these states. They won't be able to save themselves unless they do not get help and cooperation from other states. We need to understand that the Royals had their own problems. If they would have revolted, there is no doubt that they would have been crushed and their kingdom would have been taken under direct British control which would have been an even bigger disaster for the citizens of the kingdom. By cooperating with the British, the Royals atleast ensured that their citizens were safe under them. That was the best thing a tiny kingdom could do at that point in the interest of its people. After independence the same Royals were given an option to stay independent by Sardar Patel. But for the security of their people the Royals willingly gave up their Kingdoms when they had other options. Something to be respected.
