      Hello Antonio! Big fan!
I’ve been looking for options to take better care of my body, the problen is my skin is naturally oily so a lot of products are actually bad for me.
Does your company have natural products that help keeping my skin healthy while also not making it more oily.

I've been struggling for a few months about trying to get to work on time in the morning after hitting the gym before. I always seemed to be spending 15-20 minutes in the shower and would end up running late. Finally looked up how to shower effectively and found this video. The navy shower is so obvious but it sped up my shower immensely and I actually felt cleaner showering this way. Thank you for this video!

A shaving shower hack I have been using is to put a dollop of my lather on my hand-held mirror. My parents climbed Machu Picchu a few years ago, and told me about how their bus driver used shampoo to keep the snow from sticking to the windscreen. Just that little bit of soap will really work wonders!

Just make sure that it is just plain lather, without a skin moisturizer in it, or your mirror will be a mess! That plain lather is great for mirrors and windows, too, even car windows, btw, but it is TERRIBLE for your skin. I always use a moisturizing shave gel or cream when I shave. There is good reason to have both. 😉

Most of these hacks I have used for years. My preference is the long handled brush over the loofah. As for the cold finish to a shower I picked that up from reading Ian Fleming's James Bond, he always finished off with a cold shower. I still need to get a good quality nail kit that doesn't rely on the "crushing clippers" & start to incorporate a moisturizing lotion. I shave prior to showering, using an shaving oil & hot wet towels to soften up the beard, after the shower I use a moisturizing gel as a aftershave treatment.

Great tips. Been using the cold shower at the end for a long time. A few questions:
    1) I saw your other video about nail clipping properly. In the shower video, you said to cut your nails within 10 minutes if taking a shower. But in the nail clipping video, you advised against wetting your nails before clipping. So why the difference in advice?
    2) I was introduced to cold showers at the end to help close the pores. If the purpose of moisturizing your body after the shower is because the pores are more open, shouldn’t you not end with a cold shower?
Those are all my questions for now. Thank you.

For people with dry hair and sensitive/dry skin, shampoo/condition and soap only every other day. On days between, you can just wet your hair and soap the vital body parts only. Also scrub your body only 1-2 times in a week. And yes, do the navy shower because the longer you stay, the drier your skin and hair will be.

I apply this method to my body as well. I can really see the difference before and after.

To be really clean...apply coconut oil on your body first before showering. The reason for this is to dissolve all the dirt you have and it makes rinsing out the soap at the end easier. You also end up with moisturized skin. It is also effective in making sure your pits are really clean..no need to wear deodorant. It is also advisable to use body wash and loofah and make sure to rinse well. It is pointless to shower if u still have a film of soap left on top of your skin..which is sticky.

    Really good! Thanks!
1:40 get a pair of rubbing gloves (aka exfoliating gloves or body scrub gloves) for your showers. Use them to soaping you body and at the same time they will exfoliate the skin. You don't even need special exfoliating agents for that to work (exept if you need a really deep scrub). The gloves are also good when washing the soap off again, because they will help remove any soap residue that might cause skin issues such as itching. Rubbing gloves come cheap and are very helpful. Find a pair that suits you.
Just like sponges, clean the gloves and let them dry properly when you a done. The gloves I have can be boiled, so occasionally I boil them to keep them clean and 100% desinfected. The dishwasher trick might also work.

I have a mirror in my shower for shaving and it is just a cheap brand. What I have learned through out the years was that it starts to get somewhat expensive buying them because they get covered with water marks that is frustrating to get off and if you try washing or rubbing them off you mess up mirror. The hack that saved me from having to replace the mirror on a regular basis was discovered by accident. I have been cleaning my shower and faucets with Dawn and vinegar for years now. What I do is once a week I spray down my shower with a thin coat of the mixture about 15 minutes before I am going to shower, including my mirror. And when before I get in I just spray the whole shower down including my mirror. The mixture breaks down whatever soap build up or calcium build up it has and you just have to spray it down. Do not get in the shower prior to spraying it down because you will slip and hurt yourself. The mixture calls for equal parts of each (Dawn and White vinegar) the first couple of times to completely break down whatever build up you may have and you may have to put a little elbow grease if it needs it, After that I just mix about 3-5 Tablespoons of Dawn and the rest white vinegar in a 16 oz spray bottle. That will last you a few months. This mixture will keep your faucets and your mirror spotless and shiny. Hopefully this helps if someone is on a tight budget.

    • @vaarbz6764
      @vaarbz6764 3 года назад +1

You only need to have it on long the first time. And start with the hot water only then turn it to a cooler setting once it's hot because the cold water always comes out cold but hot water starts hot. After the first time the water doesn't need mixing time. I grew up turning the water on and off during showers. It feels more natural to me than leaving the water running

.I use exfoliating gloves, a back brush, and one bar of Dr. Bonner's Bar Soap, which works just as good if not better than any shampoo. Been doing this for decades. Went to my girlfriends house and she had one of the exfoliaters as seen here, which was useless compared to gloves. And she had Dove, which left a yucky film on my body, which I like to use lotion for. My showers take about 6-8 minutes because I shave in the shower.

Great video I also brush my teeth in the shower. So shower, shave and brush my teeth then when I step out I do lotion. The cold water finish is smart as well it also thickens your hair as cold water causes hair to come together / tightens up so it appears thicker. (Which is why you use warm water before shaving as it relaxes facial hair making it easier to shave.)

conconut oil scrubbed into the wet hair at the beginning of the shower and then washed out, once a week can make the hair very soft and have more body. Adding a few drops of Rosemary essential oil to the conout oil as a carrier, can solve a lot of hair loss and protect from 'pest' issues. It's a microscopic world and there are all sorts of bugs (mostly arachnids family). Rosemary when diluted can heal and promote full hair

When washing your hair, use a little shampoo and go straight for the scalp. Add more as you go. Do not lather on your hands or it won't reach your scalp.
Use a good quality shampoo. Most of them don't clean well, are watered down and mask smells.
After the first wash and rinse, wash again but start with half or less of the amount used in the first wash. When your hair gets sudsy, it's clean. Apply conditioner. After the shower, use a very small amount of oil. The lighter the oil for your type of hair, the better.
The conditioner seals the holes and cracks on most of the hair aside from the tips. That's where the oil comes in.
This will eliminate oily, greasy hair and most of the split ends and visible damage. Only wash when hair is dirty, not needed every day.

One thing that makes a navy shower take longer is waiting for the rag or loofah to suds up with the soap and water before you lather your body. Seems like a bar of soap would cut down the time, which is why I've been considering getting bars with different scents than just boring dove soap. You also need to wring out the loofah before letting it dry
Good tips here to save time and be more effective in the shower
