@@Akshonesports I'm actually surprised that the OWWC went ahead after the rumors that it got cancelled. It's probably why it was rushed, they didn't bother focusing on it or spending the money like they had the last couple of years

Cant we get the old highlight videos that have 10 min videos for each game? Im pretty sure one of the quarterfinal games was skipped entirely and at some points you didn’t know who won because it went to the next game before it ended the previous one
Not Akshon’s fault, they were all played on the same day switching between them. We are lucky these clips are even together

A large mouse pad and tons of practice.
@@gaelsarmiento4496 Large mouse pads are only needed for long range accuracy, OW is a close combat game so high DPI with wrist aim for fast looking around versus accuracy from low DPI with big arm movements

Not all OWL franchises. And a few EU top players shown this WC that they can compete against OWL players. Leaf but not only, Jona, Viz, Fischer, all of those proved a lot.
They’ll get a spot for sure, even if it’s not in OWL they’ll get to Academy or higher tier teams. At least the Contenders Academy level will higher up, it’s actually not brilliant as UK told us in the WC lul.

Organizing was pretty bad tbh! All information about OWWC I got from Liquipedia and in the preliminary phase there were like 6 streams to watch but you wanted to see more matches! Last one was much better

That's what I thought, too. IDK and Bdosin for South Korean standards is a very weak combination. I would keep Architect, Mano, and Choi and swap out IDK, Bdosin, and Carpe. Carpe had a few good halt dragon strike highlights tho.

Antoine Phan What? Only two teams had to play 3 games in a row once. Every other team(including the U.S.) had to place two games in a row twice as a trade-off. In the playoffs, only one team had to play twice in a row and that was France in the bronze medal match.

To every fan, this OWWC feels just rushed, team were just exhaust at the end, and it's very noticeable with the hitscan players, hitting less and less shot through the cup :/

To those saying you didn’t know when the World Cup started or ended, it’s always at BlizzCon and they’ve been advertising the hell out of that. But the content inside the World Cup was some of the best to date. Everyone will complain about the meta, but it looked like every team was at least trying and having fun. And some of the upcoming guys to the scene did some great stuff. Leaf, Jona, Daans, and Fischer all had some amazing plays. Plus we didn’t have to see SK wipe the floor with everyone this year

@@alexhenry3328 It's not because Korea lost, but it's because every country except the U.S. didn't even have a proper practice environment. Also, I think this World Cup has moved too hard in line with the schedule of Blizzard Contest.
And about Korea, Korea is the champion for three years in a row, but I am angry that there was no treatment in the Overwatch World Cup and no practice environment.

Lol I like after every meta people say will say I'll take _______ (the previous last meta ) and over _______ (the current meta). Or I miss ____(previous meta). Truth is people always hate the metas, even dive. I remember when people would complain about dive and complain about the same 6 heros ( Sounds familiar ). I even remember when people complain that genji was being played too much. People will always complain about the meta. Best thing to do is to learn about the meta in a deeper way. Metas in the past were very free flowing but since goats all the metas have more flow charty and about macro.
SocaSosa Goats was one of the best metas to date i dont care what anyone says it had some of the most fun team work any meta has had yet

It’s probably for commercial reasons, but if SK just put the complete NYXL or Titans in the starting line up instead of a mix of players from different team, SK would’ve been stronger.
I think there's a rule against that, plus the head coach was Crusty, who is a SF Shock Coach.

Just because they play on different teams doesn't mean they don't know how to communicate. SK lost because they nominated their worst lineup to date because most of the top tier players declined the intvitation like Jjonak

USA put out their best team that they could've made, but SK possibly put out the most mediocre team they could. I really wish SK had the better players, because, as it stands, I still can't USA the best country if they only beat a sub par SK team in the WC.

Nope. They did all the scrim testing and player testing, and STILL ended up with Bdosin IDK. Ik Crusty didn't wanna seem biased, but he really could've taken Viol2t or either of the Titans Support line.

SK put out a mediocre team. USA put out their best team. While its no excuse to still lose, many people, including me, will never regard the USA as the best country until you actually beat a stacked SK team, with better players. Not to take anything away from the USA, they played brilliant, but it's hard to call you the best when your most feared opponent put out a B team.
