Altough I would have included another core message, that entangling information or beliefs, with your identity enhances and increases the probability of not changing your mind about a specific topic. If you identify yourself as a climate change denier, you will see in every information about the climate change an open attack on your persona, wich will quickly get in prosecuter mode :)

You preach that there is no climate change, look for authority that supports your idea (Confirmation bias) and prosecute the other side for being wrong about climate change. I think climate change deniers are preaching prosecuters, they aren't gonna change their view on things just to get support.

This video states that we should strive to think like a scientist, which is correct. However, even scientists are humans and need to remain humble because they sometimes make the same mistakes "scientific thinking" is supposed to save us from. The Einstein example is enough proof.
