    This is perhaps the best Mikado character I've seen. Flamboyant and slightly crazy...great upload.

    i think this is the one of few that actually used some of the right costumes.. i hate seeing the mikado and they are all wearing chinese costumes and then they see this....ehhh...maybe i'm just picky..but i love the mikado

    I love the opening staging, which sets this production within the realm of fantasy. However, the actors mug too much. If you look at the notes for the original, Gilbert demanded that his players keep away from any "funny business." Playing it straight makes it funnier.
