Well, in UBW route Shirou vomits and feels pain like the hell just for project kanshou and bakuya (with his own powers, i mean, human being powers). Try to imagine HFSHIROU using Archer's projection. Is like put a gun on his head and shoot himself.
@@angelcortes3485 Obviously, when Shirou tried to project Kanshou and Bakuya the first time, he didn't know how his UBW, which is the reason, much later in the fight with Archer he figured it out and could project those two weapons properly
I found the scene where Shirou asks Illya to live with him even more heartbreaking in the anime since in the novel she refuses but in the movie she accepts, making the ending even sadder since she ended up dying in that same night died and won't ever be able to live with her brother like she said she would ;-;
@@konjiki8203 rewatch the scene and pay attention to her dialogue and compare to the VN, you will see what I am talking about, she shakes her head to Shirou so Shirou stops talking and doesn't worry then she says with a smile on her face that she will see Shirou later and for him to come back with sakura before dawn, that is worded in a way to make Shirou and the audience think she will be with them in a happy way later, but gets recontextualized when she actually sacrifices her self, which is different from the sad scene in the VN when she clearly says she won't live with Shirou with a bittersweet expression in a way that makes the audience and Shirou sad
For the sword part, it's also because Avalon, king Arthur's scabbard that resides within him, repairs his body, but because his origin is the sword, it instead repairs all injuries with literal swords, reinforcing his damaged muscles and injuries with steel, but if the wound is too large, swords will literally burst out of his body in. an attempt to close up his wound
IIRC, it's more like UBW learned the regeneration trick from Avalon. So he has access to two sources that can heal him, Avalon does it when Saber is close and UBW is used instinctively whenever Shirou receives grievous injuries. In HF the conflict between Shirou and Archer's arm makes UBW go out of control after the shroud is removed. (Archer's UBW "heals him (Archer)" and Shirou's UBW "heals him (Shirou)" in reply.)
@@daimahou3951 kinda. In other routes the exact same thing happens though. You can see in UBW that there are threads pulling his wounds together instead of regenerating. Those are steel threads
@@totozhu4543 hmmm... Let's see the healing in the VN... Avalon acted up before the summoning of Saber, since she was a guaranteed summon (from Complete Material 3)... In Fate route, in the Rider vs Shirou Bad End when he decides to not summon Saber, he is kicked out of the window and still lives for a bit he sees his wounds try to get back together through swords... After Gilgamesh tries to kill Shirou and Saber, his wounds are knit together with blades then he denies that being a thing and looks again, and he remarks what's happening is more *restoration* than healing. In the UBW route, when they fight, Archer remarks that Shirou is still healing despite not being Saber's Master, ergo, Avalon starts working when Saber is in proximity. Nasu WoG'd that Saber Alter and Avalon are incompatible in the second HF movie's Q&A. So it's very possible Avalon doesn't work after she is consumed by the Shadow... (At least these are the ones I remember from the VN.) After Saber is gone Avalon goes dormant, never working on Shirou again. (Complete Material 3) So, while Avalon restores the body to a previous state, UBW is more of a stopgap measure. And Shirou's aria "My body is made out of swords" wouldn't make sense if that's only possible with Avalon, would it?
@@daimahou3951 yeah that’s true. But you have to remember that the only reason his origin is the “sword” is because of Avalon being near it for so long

In the backyard fight scene on the start of the film sakura just came like normal and eventually she reveals her seals command tattoo. We only see her full transformation when she met with kirei
I wish they would have shown the effects of using Archer's arm more. Like, his perception of the world around him is supposed to be screwed up, but it wasn't really portrayed much at all.
agree they didnt do a very good job of showing how dangerous using the arm was and what it did to Shirou in the VN by the time he fights KIrei he doesnt even remember Sakuras name...not sure why they changed it here it was still amazing though
That would have been amazing. That psychological destruction of Shirou was probably my favorite aspect of the HF climax, but can be a pretty difficult thing to implement with time constraints.
yeah or some sort of special epilogue TV/ONA episode, the trilogy is such a masterpiece, but ending really should be stronger and more defined after all the unspeakable shit and emotions involved, a short montage that is also ambiguous for no reason feels a bit too rushed and hollow.
agree, at least we've got the drama CD where Rin explains what happens that year between the HGW and Shirou's return... can't understand japanese but just by hearing I can tell that it's based on the original vn epilogue
Also I didn't know that Zouken put his soul on one of his worms so thank you for clarifying that, I was confused on how Zouken was in Sakura's body after Kirei used his magic on him
well. That is only thing Tokiomi refuses Zouken doing to Sakura. " Good Magus father". And someone still says " why she - normal Sakura - doesn't fight back against Zouken?".
By the time it got to this, I kind of forgot- it's the pendant that Rin gave him to save his life and there was a bit more juice in there to help him get his soul converted by Illya in the end- right? I think that's all it served as in the movie?
TY for clarifying Shirou being brought back by binding his soul into a working body. I for a second thought that the interactions he was having when he reappeared were a figment of Sakura's imagination, believing what life could've been and played out had Shirou been around after the HGW.
That is a pretty common consensus that, unless you're keenly observing those brief shots in the epilogue and are knowledgable about Kara No Kyoukai, will seem a lot more ambigous than it actually is. Glad this could help!
Omg bro literally all of my unanswered questions answered. I was wondering why the swords were coming out of him but it makes sense he can't handle ubw because he didn't activate it himself Ty so much this was dope

It’s technically also a legitimate way of using a reality marble. One of the 27 Dead Apostle Ancestors, Nvrsqr Chaos, uses it and his body is made of 666 different animals and phantasmal beasts
There was a lot of things that wet unanswered for me so I ended up reading the vn for the dirts time and man was it enjoyable and the amount of cut content they could have used was amazing I wish they did
If you look at hf presage's flower then we have scenario where shirou decided to push saber other than in visual novel his act is more like a shield . And anime interm of movie cannot do much greather as tv series because in movie we had mostly 2 hrs run time to show entire story in short way which is mostly difficult thing to show original story and context and left certain character growth .
The ending of the film shows Shirou coming back with the doll body. But it almost seems like Sakura is imagining Shirou there like the ending where he stayed dead in the VN. Thought that was a bit strange.
woah I didn't even know that Zouken is one of those three?! I don't know if I just overlook a line from the subtitle or I didn't understand it at all!!
In heavens feel 2, it was confirmed that zouken was makiri. Rmmbr that dialogue scene between ilya and zouken, just before zouken called upon saber alter? Ilya straight up called zouken “makiri”.
Additionally, Zouken makes several comments throughout all three movies about why they created the Holy Grail War, implying he was involved in its creation. It is something I felt they could have made a bit clearer though.
The entire trilogy is a summary of the story, it doesn't even cover 1/3 of the original length. It's sad because i love the OG HF, It's one of the best reads I've ever had.
I don't know whether this is technically canon, but I always also thought that the reason Shirou was being assaulted by swords is because he's betraying the path of the hero that Archer walked. There are a lot of hints that Archer's timeline is Heaven's Feel where he made the choice to kill Sakura to save the world from her destruction. By betraying that choice and abandoning Kiritsugu's path, Shirou puts himself at odds with Archer's arm, and that's part of why it's going to destroy him. It's also kind of ironic because you get the sense that Archer actually approves of Shirou's choice to save Sakura. Having seen the destruction and death of the path he walked, it seems like he's happy to see himself changing that path -- but despite that, it's still Shirou betraying his ideals, and that puts him physically at odds with his own heroic body.
That is a eloquent and well thought out interpretation! I think that's a way more satisfying answer then the one given. It fits in perfectly with the moral Heaven's Feel tells.
@@whateverwhatever4476 I do remember reading something like that too. But leaving Archer's past vague, in the context of FSN, leads to the beauty of interpretation.

I wonder how I would perceive this film without knowing information from the VN. Knowing that information really saved me though, without it I would have been completely confused on many parts.
Dude I planned on reading the vn before I watched it but since I got school rn I just don’t got the time. The movie was good but it didn’t feel nearly as good as ubw. The first 2 movies were very good but the third movie wasn’t as enjoyable, I almost liked the original dean adaptation of the fate route better than the third movie solely because it made more sense. I do still need to play through the fate route in the vn at some point.

The show is truly amazing. It's incomparable, certainly. But I think the reason why it doesn't receive the attention it deserves is because of how vague everything is. Even after watching the entirety of fate, information will still be vague. Resulting to not leaving a mark on the watchers heart. Fate being vague is what makes it as Fate, it's both amazing at the same time so hard to deal with. . This is one of those animes I can call "Not for everyone."

The limits of the doll are barely explained, all that's said about it is that the doll is pretty close to that of a human. Because of that I think that there is a pretty good chance that he could have children.
The mage who makes the doll can make dolls that are perfect imitations of the original, to the extent that it's impossible to tell the original from the imitation. Shirou's isn't of that quality (it's secondhand), but is close enough. In the end, he's a true imitation, or maybe a fake that surpassed the original.
Thanks for the video! It helps me understand the ending and all the unanswered question i had. I don't have time to play the VN so I'm an anime only, and yes, this movie confuses me so much.
Going to add a few corrections and expansions since you goofed big time on a couple of these, most notably when it came to Zouken. Illya’s usage of the Third Magic is incomplete, seeing as the Heaven’s Feel ritual was aborted and the full Third Magic never actually obtained. A “proper” use of the Third would have negated the need for the puppet altogether - Shirou would basically be an immortal with an unlimited amount of magical energy who could manifest whatever body he wants for himself. Lugh Beowulf in Mahoyo is a good example of a being similar to what a soul materialized with the Third is like. You completely misunderstood Zouken’s original wish. To reunite with Justeaze was his SECOND wish that led him astray - he never wanted to reach the Root, and his wish did not begin with Justeaze’s death. Rather, his goal was the exact same as the Einzberns’ and was the reason he joined them in the first place - to obtain the complete Third Magic and materialize the souls of all of humanity, creating heaven on earth. If this sounds similar to Amakusa’s Salvation in Apocrypha, that’s because Amakusa got the idea from the Einzberns to begin with - Complete Material 3 even calls the Einzberns’ goal “the salvation of mankind”. It’s also worth noting that Zouken is meant to thematically parallel Shirou in this route. He begins as a selfless hero who wants to save everyone, then through his love for and obsession with a doomed girl, he becomes determined to save her and only her, and that desire leads him to make decisions that hurt others. Shirou has blades coming out of him not just because of UBW activating inside of him, but because Avalon is also healing his wounds. It is the interaction between Avalon and UBW that causes the blades to replace the wounded parts of his body during his fight with Kirei. The Dress of Heaven is also necessary for the use of the incomplete Third Magic that the Einzbern have access to, not simply to control the Grail. It does allow them to control the Grail, but this is simply because the Grail is created using the incomplete Third and not because the Dress is specifically intended to control the Grail. Also worth noting - the components of the Dress were used to create Illya’s maid homunculus Leysritt and she must die in order to recreate it. I can’t really say much on your Kirei theory, but I do know a formal magical contract between Kirei and Angra is never really mentioned, it's more likely that Sakura can just manipulate Angra’s black goo due to her connection to him. Also, Kirei was able to use healing magic just fine before then. Your recap of differences is fine with one little addition in regards to the Kirei vs Assassin fight - Kirei uses lighting magic to immobilize Assassin in the anime, whereas in the he puts a paralysis spell on his Black Key in the VN. I have kind of an autistic obsession with cataloguing all Church magic in the series so this one sticks in my brain, lol
Thank you, I didn't realize the oversights I made while making this. There was also a lot of small things I seemed to have missed that made a huge difference in my explanations. I appreciate you correcting my mistakes, and I really should have done better at clarifying certain things.
@@alfredhigglestein2828 Correct. Justeaze is the core of the Greater Grail and he wanted Third Magic immortality. However, he also planned to release her from the Grail afterwards

I'm annoyed that they changed the fight at the end between Shirou and Kirei....In the VN, it is stated that Shirou knows that he can't get hit in the head or UBW will go crazy and cause swords to come out of it. In this movie, Shirou gets hit in the head multiple times....Shirou knew how dangerou Kirei was and how important it was to be cautious while fighting him, but it was all thrown out the window here....
It's sad to see one of the best fights in the VN from a thematic and development standpoint get reduced to just a basic brawl. The dialogue was well implemented, but it sucks how the fight was cut in half.
Archer's arm represents a part of his soul hence UBW, the reality marble is not actually materilized from the mind but from the soul which is why shirou was able to search for weapons in archer's UBW, also the swords that invades his body are coming directly from archer's UBW reinforcing shirou's body to match up to it's original owner ( archer ) and it's also a healing mechanism which was hinted in the first visual novel but shirou was healed by avalon instead, here shirou is being healed by UBW and reinforced at the same time, also this explains the visions of archer being struck with swords in Fate/Stay night UBW, hope this clears out much details
It was a huge and heartfelt scene, one of the fan favorites in the VN. I don't know why a death of a character and their last words were only adapted in a few seconds. It would have been great if this movie was 30 minutes to an hour longer.

Bit late here but I always felt what happened to Saber to be a little anti-climactic. She gets claimed by the goo/shadow/Sakura and is admired as "facing her own darkness" and is shown struggling for the grail until she turns around and sees her dark self, and then she just...disappears effectively? From then on she's fully replaced by Saber Alter and then somehow by anime plot logic has a brief moment of "being normal saber again" before she's killed. I just don't really get how any of that holds up with logical consistency- and the part about facing her own darkness I feel like just gets forgotten. Am I missing something here? Or does it feel like just a bunch of wasted potential?
The amount for things the movies cut and changed from the visual novel was crazy there’s still something’s and for saber I guess right before death saber or good saber spoke out a bit it’s just logic for anime 😂
@@tinypickle no they really didn’t I wish they did since in the other 2 routes saber could have gone evil too but even in havens feel it didn’t get touched it just happened
Said Dialogue between Saber and Saber Alter doesn't exist in the VN, Saber sinply gets "swallowed" by the Shadow and next time we see her she is already Saber Alter. My only guess is that said dialogue was sort of borrowed from Saber Alter's route in Unlimited Codes (Fighting games) where she just accepts the darkness of the mud and decides to act as an "agent of fate", if her role now is to guard the shadow and Sakura, she will do so until the very end. She already lost anyway so there is not much she can do against her new master. An ñd something that the movie fails to portray (and that you wouldn't know unless you get an specific bad ending) is that Saber Alter going "Ah... Shirou... 🥺" right before she dies is actually just Saber Alter's attempt to trick Shirou. Right in that moment you get to make a choice in the VN. Wether let her go or killing her right there. If you choose to not kill her, Saber Alter silently disappears and goes to help Sakura to Kill Rin. By the moment Shirou arrives where Sakura is, Rin has been defeated.
I was very disappointed by the ending on the movie, they could have just taken extra 10 minutes to explain everything like in the visual novel, instead of just assuming the viewe read the VN and leave those VERY important scenes out.
And to be honest if u think about it the actual origin start in the fate stay night PSP game but here they are a few different scenes like saber turning back to her normal self it almost explains sakura's back story and shows u every move that shiro should have used instead of the nine life *** in the movie
Hey! I have a question! At the end when Shirou was about to destroy the greater grail at the cost of his own life- how was Illia able to destroy it? I understand that she was able to save Shirou by utilizing an imperfect form of the third magic (using the dress) but I don’t understand how she was able to destroy the grail and stop Avenger from being summoned.
The Dress of Heaven allows the wearer to have greater control over the grail, along with her being a vessel allowed her to have complete control over it.
Did Touko Aozaki have spare Mystic Eyes Killer spectacles for people like Rider? If I'm not mistaken, her sister Aoko Aozaki stole a few Mystic Eyes Killers and gave one to Tohno Shiki at the beginning of Tsukihime
Slight correction: If you go back and rewatch the ending of Pt.3 on Netflix, I'm pretty sure Zouken mentioned something along the line of "500 years... in a blink of an eye" so i'd say he lived for 500 instead of the 200 you mentioned here. But nonetheless, good shit.
unfortunately, this adaptation suffered a lot from having to be contained in just 3 movies aka 6 hours of time. This is the lengthiest route and contains the most lore, but the adaptation had to rush through plot points which caused a major issue with pacing in all films, not to mention a ton of characters got sidelined including rider & illya who in the vn had arguably just as much story as sakura- saber is another character who got sidelined a lot which made her climax with shirou&rider not as impactful. I understand why films were made and so many scenes shine because of the extra budget, and while still good adaptations, as a fan I’m a bit disappointed at how incomplete the films feel overall

Lancer completely died as he had his heart taken by Zabaniya before getting absorbed by the shadow. No problem, I'm glad you enjoyed and that I could be of help! It's safe to say that he doesn't have Archer's abilities since the arm he was using for Archer's powers in now gone. As for his ideals, he has completely given up on the Hero of Justice path. Since he had already abandoned his ideals, he would only feel guilt if he was to readopt them. After the war, he just lives his days peacefully with Sakura.
Been a long time since i read the vn but i rember Rin implies Shirou can learn Archer's abilities with some time at the end. After all Shirou's soul was being corrupted by Archer's arm, he may not have all of Archer's knowledge but he should have what he got access to before he lost his body.

I really loved Heaven's feel 1st and 2nd movie for its character development. The 3rd movie felt a bit rushed and has a lot of unnatural transitions. Might be because of Covid 19... Well at least the animation is still top quality and more importantly, Sakura finally got the happiness she deserves. Fk Zokan and Shinji.
After the war, the contract between Rider and Sakura never ended. She is able to maintain herself through Sakura's mana, as she still has an abundance of it from the Grail.
I know I’m super late but quick question. But in the heavens feel route how does emiya become archer ? Ik abt blade works but I’m confused on heavens feel.
Don't worry about, glad you're here! Shirou does not become Archer in any of the routes. Archer's time line is completely different from the routes we were shown. In Fate, Shirou looked forward to meeting Saber and learning his faults within himself from her. In UBW, he didn't blindly follow his ideals. Coming to understand the flaws within his mentality. Preventing the despair he would feel when coming to the conclusion that saving everyone is just a fallacy. In Heaven's Feel, there is no reason for him to become Archer, since he had completely abandoned his own ideals.
This is definitely a nice video and will help people to understand everything further ^^ You put a lot effort into the video, by showing parts of the visual novel! Ufotable actually show alot of this visually, instead of explaining. So you have to read between the lines, but it's not that obvious like the vn for everyone. Archers arm or example: We can see a huge impact of archers arm in lost butterfly as well. After shirou is removing the shroud (slightly), we see his body glowing and literally exploding on the ground. This works like an visually explanation, but not in detail. Furthermore, he's suffering every night after using the arm and we can see how he can barely speak at the ending. My complain about it: They should have added the Church scene, after shirou lost his arm in the second movie. It would have helped a lot in my opinion. My other complain: the missing lorelei scene (Still sad about it) and more explanation in the ending. I wish they made each movie 30 minutes longer, which could solve my complains. Thumbs up for you!
Sometimes with visual hints they can be missed or easily misinterpreted, especially if it's a subtle movement. The church scene could definitely give later scenes a lot more impact. I was also disappointed to see Lorelei scene cut out. One of my top 10 moments in the VN. Thank you, and I'm glad you enjoyed!

shinji's story is not told in heaven's feel 3 but a portion is set in heaven's feel 2. before his death, he tried to rape sakura while yelling "i should be the heir. you are just a tool..." something like that
can someone plz explain to me how shirou is alive in the end? didnt his whole body disappear?? I am so confused. IF they made him into a doll, where did they get the soul for the body from? if he is a doll then does that mean he will stop aging just like illya?
Illya used the Third Magic (Materialization of the soul) to put Shirou's soul into a container, which is later found by Rider. Rin then takes Shirou's soul to put into a doll made by the mage Touko Aozaki who specializes in creating realistic puppets. Despite being a doll he will still age since the dolls made by Touko are very similar to that of a human.

Btw I really like this video and comments it will help a lot of people who's confused and didn't go deep into VN
1. No, Shirou's body can live perfectly fine without a supply of mama. It's functions almost perfectly as a normal body. 2. Rin asking Sakura if she was happy was reassuring her that Sakura had overcome at least a bit of her trauma and guilt. Sakura knew about Shirou's body since she was there when his soul was implanted. Thank you, I'm glad I was able to help!
Very many hidden points in the movie. I watched it four times and see at least 13 of them. Some actually from the Novel. Some is the new ideas of Ufortable ( Shirou's key).
Ilya's entire purpose was to implement the third magic; she was a homunculus for that reason. Her programming with magic in general was pretty stupefying. Her mom, Irisviel, was created for the same reason. Actually, I think she simply followed everyone in there.
The ending is super confusing without context. I honestly felt weird because of how much WTF was going on till I was reminded by my friend what exactly happened.
Yeah the ending was extremely rushed. Kirei's fight to the ending, was around 2 hours, give or take. Which was condensed into less than 20 minutes, if I remember correctly.
@@NeNeiSan the Illya part I would have liked about 1 more minute. And the Sakura and Rin part after that could have used a minute to show or say what happened. @@sibsart2039 Those were a lot of my thoughts as well. The film really needed some time to let major scenes sink in. Instead of immediately rushing to the next scene, discarding a lot of the emotional impact. If this movie just had an extra 30 minutes it would almost perfect.

Do the other characters acknowledge Shirou the doll as the true shirou? Or do they think that he is a just replacement shirou? Does Shirou the doll acknowledge that he was Shirou the human?
Shirou is pretty much the exact same as he was before, memories and all. While they acknowledge the doll body, it doesn't effect the relationship he has with himself or with others.
It's mostly just time constraints from being adapted in a trilogy format. The source material for the entirety of Heaven's feel can take 20-30 hours to read through, while the movies only total to 6.

@@konjiki8203 rewatch the scene and pay attention to her dialogue and compare to the VN, you will see what I am talking about, she shakes her head to Shirou so Shirou stops talking and doesn't worry then she says with a smile on her face that she will see Shirou later and for him to come back with sakura before dawn, that is worded in a way to make Shirou and the audience think she will be with them in a happy way later, but gets recontextualized when she actually sacrifices her self,
which is different from the sad scene in the VN when she clearly says she won't live with Shirou with a bittersweet expression in a way that makes the audience and Shirou sad

(At least these are the ones I remember from the VN.)
After Saber is gone Avalon goes dormant, never working on Shirou again. (Complete Material 3)

I enjoyed this a lot. I love Illya. I'm so happy she gets a happy life in Prismia.
Hummm......are you sure ?

So what was Zouken's intention once he had the grail, make himself immortal or was it to bring back Justeaze, just a little confused on that part

The dialogue was well implemented, but it sucks how the fight was cut in half.
we need a continuation of the fsn series.
Hollow ataraxia

My question is still unanswered, why in the ending everyone seemed sad that shiro wasn't there although he was there, idk it seems empty
I just end this masterpiece now ❤️
I was very disappointed by the ending on the movie, they could have just taken extra 10 minutes to explain everything like in the visual novel, instead of just assuming the viewe read the VN and leave those VERY important scenes out.

I loved the movies, but I just wish each movie had an extra 30 minutes to develop some of the characters and expand upon itself a bit more.
@@NeNeiSan Completely agree
@@NeNeiSan 150-180 minutes for every movies.
With me, the second movie is the most important. It shows about both Illya and Sakura's characters/ suffering. Unfortunately, Sudou doesn't have enough time.

My theory on how Kirei kept living after his heart got crushed: He was just too angry to die
Kirei is insane, I wouldn't put it past him. Haha
Hit em with the ol Darth Sion
What is with Lancer, who got absorbed too?
What is with that emiya with white hear from heavens feel part 2? They were some weird scenes of him.
Oh and why did we had 2 Assasin Servants (the samurai and the black one)?
Lancer completely died as he had his heart taken by Zabaniya before getting absorbed by the shadow.
The sequence with the white hair Emiya is supposed to allude to a bad in the visual novel where Shirou chooses to keep pushing forward with his ideals.
Zouken uses Koujiro's body as a catalyst to summon Hassan.
It was for more for people who read entire VN and don't care about plot of the Movies.
It was all worth it, Saber vs Rider just blew my fucking mind
No it wasn’t. Fan favourite scenes were garbage and filler fights like Rider vs saber got the attention.
thanks for the video it was confusing for mw why he couldn't remember illyas name so i started looking for it without having to look through the entire vn

so emiya is alive because his soul was protected by ilya and then put in a doll by rin and sakura? so in the ending they are all happy and sakura got to see the spring with emiya right?
Correct

You may be able to loosely put together what happened without KnK. But knowing the characters of KnK make it a lot easier to understand.
I guess I need to read the Visual Novel

@@NeNeiSan What about Realta Nua?, is it better than the original VN?
@@Sanuw7 The Realtua Nua version is better

yo great video, thanks cleared up a lot, but one thing im wondering is if shiruo still has the abilities of archers arm and does he still want to be a hero even with his altered ideals and him going down a different route to kiritsugu or after saving sakura is he content with living his life. thanks again
@@NeNeiSan thanks a lot dude appreciate it
Been a long time since i read the vn but i rember Rin implies Shirou can learn Archer's abilities with some time at the end. After all Shirou's soul was being corrupted by Archer's arm, he may not have all of Archer's knowledge but he should have what he got access to before he lost his body.
@@maximus4426 oh thanks dude I appreciate it.
Anyone knows how to get access to f/sn VNs. I wouldnt mind paying, but it's near impossible for me to get my hands on it. If smone cld provide info as to how I can play the VNs, tht would be a huge help.

its detailed and if you have any problems there is a FAQ section to help out.
Despite its rough patches I still love the movie, but the 2nd is still my favorite of the 3.
@@NeNeiSan Same here bro. That movie felt perfect in every aspect.
nice video!
could you just explain me why rider was able to live on?
god bless
Shirou never becomes archer in any of the routes.
This is definitely a nice video and will help people to understand everything further ^^
You put a lot effort into the video, by showing parts of the visual novel!
Ufotable actually show alot of this visually, instead of explaining. So you have to read between the lines, but it's not that obvious like the vn for everyone.
Archers arm or example:
We can see a huge impact of archers arm in lost butterfly as well. After shirou is removing the shroud (slightly), we see his body glowing and literally exploding on the ground.
This works like an visually explanation, but not in detail.
Furthermore, he's suffering every night after using the arm and we can see how he can barely speak at the ending. My complain about it:
They should have added the Church scene, after shirou lost his arm in the second movie.
Hi, first of all cool video, thank you for give some information about the adaptation.
Now someone who can pass me a link or something similar for view the movie please? 😔
I'm from Mexico, so I couldn't see because here is not avalaible yet, and I didn't found the movie, is doesn't matter if is in english.

So is the Shirou in the dummy at the ending, the exact same shirou who died by the grail?
Yes
i was really disappointed with how badly these things were explained in the movie itself. Really brought down what could have been a great ending
Same
Wait wait wait. The women is called Justize? (Or how you write that). I thought thats the name of the fella that locked out Kiritsugu from the einsbern estate after the 4th grail war.
Anyways thanks for explaining a lot! Great video.
That guy, the head of the Einzbern, name is Jubstacheit
I'm glad you enjoyed and that I was able to help!
I hope to see an Extended Cut or an anime series remake. But, regardless, I thought the movie was damn good for what it was trying to do as a stand-alone movie, sequel, conclusion, and adaptation.
shinji's story is not told in heaven's feel 3 but a portion is set in heaven's feel 2. before his death, he tried to rape sakura while yelling "i should be the heir. you are just a tool..." something like that
Yeah I prefer that over the VN spelling it out tbh. Especially since Shinji isn’t really a character you would want to sympathize with anyways
Why doesn't Rider disappear at the end?
Sakura is still holding on to her with the unlimited grail power
can someone plz explain to me how shirou is alive in the end? didnt his whole body disappear?? I am so confused. IF they made him into a doll, where did they get the soul for the body from? if he is a doll then does that mean he will stop aging just like illya?
Illya used the Third Magic (Materialization of the soul) to put Shirou's soul into a container, which is later found by Rider. Rin then takes Shirou's soul to put into a doll made by the mage Touko Aozaki who specializes in creating realistic puppets.
Despite being a doll he will still age since the dolls made by Touko are very similar to that of a human.
@@NeNeiSan Will they able to have a Child though? after all that not having to able to F Sakura its just sad ;P
@@anon7945 There not that much detail on the limitations or if there are any at all, but I think they would be able to.
I think they hinted Fate/hollow atoraxia from the flashback of kirei when he fought hassan. Idk more about this, but I hope ufotable will adapt that too lol
I really hope so, it's one of my favorite Fate stories.
Did Kirei ever mention that he and his wife Claudia have a kid(Caren) in latest edition of VN? If not in VN; ufotable really teasing somethin in that Kirei's exposition on the church's fight.
TLDW: Watch other Type Moon works before diving into Heaven's Feel first
PLEASE ANSWER
I've been thinking about this..
1)Is it true that new shirou's body need constant supply of mana from sakura?
2)Why Rin asked Sakura if she's happy did she asked about shirou's body?
Btw I really like this video and comments it will help a lot of people who's confused and didn't go deep into VN
1. No, Shirou's body can live perfectly fine without a supply of mama. It's functions almost perfectly as a normal body.
2. Rin asking Sakura if she was happy was reassuring her that Sakura had overcome at least a bit of her trauma and guilt. Sakura knew about Shirou's body since she was there when his soul was implanted.
Thank you, I'm glad I was able to help!
@@NeNeiSan thanks very helpful 👍(◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。
Okay im glad I wasn’t cause I was high as shit why the movie felt like so many parts were taken out. Honestly still think the second one is better
Very many hidden points in the movie. I watched it four times and see at least 13 of them. Some actually from the Novel. Some is the new ideas of Ufortable ( Shirou's key).
Key?
@@Sanuw7 yeah. That key = family, where you can belong to; where to return; the normal life. Re-check movie-2 to see it.
@@yevonsama Is it some kind of symbolism?
@@Sanuw7 yeah. They actually explain it in the movie-2. Watch it carefully to realize its meaning.
@@yevonsama I will
I have a question with regards to Illiya, from where did she obtain the third magic, heaven's feel and how did she suddenly appear in front of Shirou.
Ilya's entire purpose was to implement the third magic; she was a homunculus for that reason. Her programming with magic in general was pretty stupefying. Her mom, Irisviel, was created for the same reason. Actually, I think she simply followed everyone in there.
I don't understand how is rider still existing in the world even the war is over
The contract between Sakura and Rider never ended, so Sakura still supplies Rider with Mana.
Because if you aren’t familiar with the Fate verse, that ending gives you no context. And even if you do know, it all happened so fast it almost didn’t matter if you knew or not, it just kinda all happened to show they lived happily ever after. I would have enjoyed just one more minute to settle into it and actually enjoy the fact they lived happily ever after, you know?
@@sibsart2039 Those were a lot of my thoughts as well. The film really needed some time to let major scenes sink in. Instead of immediately rushing to the next scene, discarding a lot of the emotional impact. If this movie just had an extra 30 minutes it would almost perfect.
@@NeNeiSan That would be be crazy. This issue for me personally was a main issue for the last few minutes of the movie, I was fine with the rest personally.
Why was so much stuff left out of HF3? Because it was a film
It's mostly just time constraints from being adapted in a trilogy format. The source material for the entirety of Heaven's feel can take 20-30 hours to read through, while the movies only total to 6.
How shirou survived
By any chance can you make a video of where to download the vn because wife tried getting it a few times but I’ve never been able to find it in English and I would love to play it. Or if there is a video that you watched to get the vn can you link it to me.

Wait, so if the little shadow giant that stayed after the fight isn't in the visual novel what's he deal with it?
That little shadow is supposed to represent the last bit of Sakura's human side. That shadow was the same as shadow that got kicked away by the bigger shadows during Sakura's transformation. Just nice symbolism, and nothing too important.
